  1. 14th of the Amber cold, Year 110 of the Second age *Notices are scattered across the lands of the Iron Horde and the rest of the realm. Couriers would make their way, handing out papers to all who’d take one.* “It was one of four descendants that made the pledge to protect the realm originally in the times of darkness and need. A people, offering their hand, blade, and strength to fight off creatures of the shadow and darkness. No matter what hate they had held for the ones they fought alongside, their hate for what they fought against would always be greater. They would put down their grudges for the moment to fight the only thing that could end the entirety of their existence with the snap of a finger. It was KRUG who had made the pledge to protect all descendants, friend or foe, from the destruction and fires of darkness and shadow. The urukim of the Iron Horde will continue to never break this pact. After discussion with Balian leadership, the urukim of the Iron Horde declare their full support, militarily and logistically, to the people of Balian in the wake of threats of destruction from the undead dragon known as Cloudbreaker. We offer aid in the form of men with weapons and armor, ready to defend your city from this foul beast. Food, shelter, and safety will also be provided to all citizens of Balian should they seek it within the lands of the Iron Horde in the result of the destruction of their city. The urukim stand ready to fight this darkness and send the beast known as Cloudbreaker to his final resting spot. Below the feet of the mighty descendants, where it rightfully belonged.” REX, Willy of San’Velku and The Iron Horde
  2. The Rex, Willy of San'Velku, would read a note that was fetched for him by his many couriers throughout the lands. The note would then be folded neatly before he'd go to stand. "Fetch mi my zult n' bring mi grub n' grog. Mi muzt pay ah vizit tu deze zhara." he'd say to his men before heading off in search of the camp.

This document has been created to help the spiritualist find whichever shrine they seek to bring offerings to in hopes of pleasing said spirit and/or receiving some sort of blessing from them. Please update this compendium as time passes by as it is impossible for one individual to know the existence of every shrine across the realm. There is no set amount of shrines allowed for each spirit. For example, there may be multiple shrines of Krug across the land. This publication is to be used as a guide to those seeking the shrine closest to them. May this guide aid you in your journeys. (( Although this document only has a few listings for shrines at the moment, there is no possible way I could track every shrine across this map (or future maps) all by myself. 4. "Zadly, mi will nub bi able tu make it. But mi will pazz word along tu mi bruddahz." Willy would say as he read the note. He'd rise from his seat before heading out of the palace and out into the street to invite his fellow citizens to the event.
  5. *Notices are once more handed out amongst the people of the realm. Pinned to every notice board in every nation to see.* Once more my people, their names, and my own have been drug through the mud and muck of Almaris. Once more, we are told to meet demands or else. Once more the elven populace wish to declare a war for the second time against a group of descendants seeking to end the use of dark magics and the birth of dark creatures. Once more you people believe these lies to enact an unjust genocide against a people whom have sought no aggression towards your own. The urukim and myself have admitted our mistakes of the past. We make no excuse for making these mistakes. Yet as I have stated previously, when a leader is offered a weapon that could potentially save the lives of his own people from bloodshed, would you not be quick to accept it? Would you truly be more eager to send your people in to fight a war that they could not fight and allow them to die upon a battlefield? I have remained stalwart in my ambitions and beliefs. I have remained true to the wishes and legacy of Krug himself. Yet these new accusations are nothing more than accusations by nothing more than a WARMONGER seeking genocide of descendants. These accusations of some Necromancer leader and his people working with myself are a lie. A lie that has been perpetuated by Celia’nor themselves. They have accused new and old leadership even in the days of Malinor of being one of these creatures. These individuals were tested then to prove that they are not what was claimed. Then they continued to spread these lies amongst their realm. Breaking their very own tenant of the pact they so rightfully signed and wished to uphold. They have sought to break the Treaty of Vienne since… at any chance possible. I was there when King Karl III of Haense was crowned. I fought alongside my brothers against a dark creature that was attacking your own knights in aid. I delivered final blows to said creature alongside my brothers. Then I was swiftly doused in fire by your very knights that I had helped save. If it were not for my brothers there, defending your people, your land, and your life, I am sure there would’ve been more bloodshed by that creature of the shadow. This wolf-like creature, along with myself whilst I was delivering my final blows, were doused in fire by the knights I had protected. Even then, when I was enraged by your knight's actions, I sought no aggression against your people. I had made a close friendship with the late Johanna of Haense. Her and I spoke often in my days as Dominus and it was her who had shown me that the people of Haense are more than just another people seeking endless wars amongst the rest of the realm. As I have sent a personal letter to the King himself, Karl III, I too mourn the loss of my dear friend Johanna of Haense. Someone I had admired for her own honor and her own politeness towards myself and the rest of the urukim in a world filled with people out for bloodshed against my kind. Even more recently when your city was attacked by these dark creatures and magics, even after you had so eagerly signed away to aid the elves in their crusade to enact their war upon us, did the urukim go to aid you and your people in defense. The realm is so quick to believe that just because our skin is different from yours and that our stature may be larger or that we may look differently, that we are the bad ones of this realm. Even in the threats of war against our kind by Haense, we still aided them and their people in the defense of their city from this threat and attack of dark magic and its creatures. I do not wish for a war amongst the descendants. My people should not be thrusted into a second war against the elven people within a six cactus month period over hypocrisy. Nor should we be thrusted into a third within the same period with the humans of Haense for their own reasons of not asking the simple questions that I had in my previous address. It is enraging to think that even when it is known across the realm that the accusing nation continues aggression, dropping demand after demand, and is known for harboring some of this realm's worst offenders that it is still the fault of the urukim people and that we must pay. I plead with the people of Almaris to not believe these lies. I will refuse to answer and apologize for actions I have not committed. I will refuse to offer an apology for actions I have not committed. I refuse for you to enact your own rule over my people on baseless claims. I refuse to join forces with known aiders and abettors of dark magic and its creatures. If you wish to truly fight the dark magic that exists within this realm then I will truly aid all those who seek an end to the lies and deceit, especially from the one we all know called /Iblees/. But do not sit here and accuse me of such crimes against all descendant kinds for something I know nothing of nor have ever participated in. I plead once more to the rest of the realm to ask yourself those simple questions I asked in the previous address. How does this nation that puts on this facade of being against dark magic know so much about it? Down to its ranks, motives, and people within? Why do they seek demands and war against a people actively fighting dark magics to the east? Why have they refused to answer any of these questions themselves? REX, Willy of San’Velku and The Iron Horde
  6. "How ironic and hypocritical the other decendants must be to once declare war upon us for supporting the very same azdrazi that they now claim as allies themselves. Sad to see how the so-called righteous have fallen so far." The Rex spoke to himself within his own personal chamber whilst enjoying a large mug of grog as he read the paper.
  7. *Notices are swiftly handed out from within the realm of the urukim and would quickly make their way across the realm and into the hands of any individual wishing to read it.* By now, I am sure you have seen the notice that has labeled me a traitor of my own people and an oath-maker with the shadows that haunt this realm. I am not here to claim whether or not what I did was true. As the information afforded to me was clearly not the information that you clearly have. I am saddened and angered at my own mistake. A misstep in judgement. What you have heard is partially true. I had made a pact with a knight. A knight that claimed control over a worm, large enough to devour the very lands that the darkspawn live upon to the east… Or as you supposedly call them, The Synod. As the knight had shared similar interest in ridding the realm of these so-called Synod. The agreement was to use the worm, as even I know the urukim of the Iron Horde are not strong enough to take on those within The Synod alone. The urukim of the Iron Horde fight alone in this battle against darkspawn. Yet I call upon all others who claim to be against these creatures, where are you to lend your swords? Where are you when they freely roam your streets, take your women and children from their homes and lands only to put them in never-ending misery, /a hell/. Why do you cower even now, knowing very well we wish to strike at the heart of the problem? For a realm filled with such righteous individuals, I see little to no action by your leaders. Instead, you fight amongst your own. Steal, slaughter, and destroy families, homes, and cities and for what? Can you not see that these creatures of darkness sit upon their thrones and laugh at you? They mock your very existence as they continue to wreak havoc upon this realm and steal the bodies of the dead from your petty wars amongst each other to bolster their own ranks. When a leader is left with no other options, he turns to drastic decisions. While you continue to cower behind your walls, allow these creatures of the shadow to wander your streets freely, allow them onto your own councils, the urukim will continue to fight against it. While you sit upon your throne, protect information regarding darkspawn and demons that have been known to end continents, we will continue to fight against it. And even now, you, Valyris of Celia’nor, lie and slander my very name in the claim that you are more good than you are evil. You are correct in your claim that I am unaware of such intentions of this so-called /tree/ you speak of. Yet, I made no pact with a /tree/. For a knight had come to the lands of the Iron Horde, offering aid in our war. A knight. Something much more noble and righteous than anything you have ever offered yourself which has been nothing at all as you have known of our war for some time now. Yet, as my hatred grows for you for yours and your peoples constant slandering which has existed even within past leadership, I will trust what you say is true. As it is clear you have more experience in speaking with this so called /tree/ that you so easily claim that I had swore fealty to. With the information provided by that of Celia’nor, I will retract my agreement with the knight to use such a creature against these so-called Synod in the east. As it never was nor will ever be my intention to aid another creature of the shadow. Yet let it be clear that no fealty was ever sworn. The urukim of the Iron Horde bend the knee to no one. Yet, there are many questions that still remain that have gone unanswered on your own wrong-doings, Valyris of Celia’nor. Why had you continued to allow those of dragon-kin to still roam and wander your lands and city freely, after your predecessors had declared an unjust war against the urukim many decades ago for the very same reason only until recently? Why have you defended the name of your predecessors and followed in their footsteps only until recently to protect those dragon-kin within your city? Why have you only now banished the Azdrazi from your city? What information do you have of their kind are you hiding from the rest of the realm? Why do you continue to allow dark creatures, known solely by their appearance, to freely travel within your city and converse with your people without repercussion? Why do your guards put no stop to these dark creatures that wander, live, and feast upon your lands? Why was it the job of the urukim to notify you of necromancers that you had given land and homes to peacefully? Why even to this day, after the urukim and you had fought these necromancers of Cartef-mor after you had given them land and clearly knew of their existence within this city, you still allow them to live upon your lands? Why is it that after such an attack upon Cartef-mor had happened, did you not want the urukim of the Iron Horde to travel with you to talk of the attacks to this so-called Lectorate you spoke of? Why havent you released any notice condemning the necromancers of Cartef-mor for their actions? How is it that I know little of this tree you speak of and yet, you seemingly know everything about this tree? Including its own ranks, allies, and what it claims to rule over? How is it you know so much about the creatures of the shadow, who leads them, whether they come and go upon this realm, and what their motives are? Why would you hide information that could be key to leading an end to all we’ve ever known and what would ever be from the rest of the realm? What is it that you are hiding from the rest of the realm? How do you know the name of this darkspawn group to the east? The one you call The Synod? What do you know about the Synod that you are not telling us? Why have you let darkspawn create a space in the east which they may gather to bolster their tools, weapons, and ranks to wage war against all of us in this realm without doing anything about it? You clearly had the knowledge of their existence long before our war was ever declared against them. If it is not you learning of this information from first hand experience, then who upon your council is telling you? It is clear they have many questions that need to be answered too… You have chosen to throw rocks while being surrounded by glass. What I have done is not excusable if what information you claim is true. Yet rather than provide this information to us, you hid it from us. Waited. Plotted. Conspired with others behind your walls. For a nation claiming to wish for peace, you instead set out demands. Threats. What is your true motive, Valyris of Celia’nor? It was Celia’nor that had led the breaking of the peaceful pact of Malinor that had united the elves. Celia’nor that was under your rule. Upon breaking this pact, you sought to make peace upon a bridge built of rotten woods and broken stones with the honorable people of Nor’asath and yet… you have sought no such peace with the rest of your elven brothers and sisters… Even now, you declare the banishment of spiritualists. The very same spiritualists that live directly next to your city and the very same spiritualists you had only sought to make peace with. I formally invite Valyris of Celia’nor to meet upon neutral grounds to answer these questions herself, face to face. We will travel to the human realm of Balian where we will meet peacefully. There are to be no guards. No accompaniment by either party. No weapons are to be brought. *A date and time is written at the bottom of the paper* ((Sunday, December 4th, 5PM EST. Balian's capital city.)) REX, Willy of San’Velku and The Iron Horde
  8. *Notices are posted upon the boards within the lands of the Iron Horde and passed about the realm by couriers.* On war A war, declared by a group of honorable descendants. Many come to claim war against such dark creatures and dark magics and yet, they do nothing. Many claim to enact upon their righteous ways, sentencing those whom wish nothing more than death, destruction, and rot to rule over this world and yet, they do nothing. Many come to the urukim, offering aid and support against the darkness and yet, they kill their own and blame their brothers and sisters for his passing rather than blaming the one that struck him. Many come to claim they are most pious and yet, when darkness comes to them in the middle of the night, they crumble and fold under the pressure. The war of the Iron Horde, the war of the Urukim, is that of the Iron Horde and the Iron Horde alone. This is a war sought out by the Iron Horde to rid the lands of the darkness and the shadows it casts upon our realm. A realm that should live in peace and prosperity rather than fear and cowardice. Instead, we have seen many come to offer assistance in ways they believe to be fit. Yet, when it is time to do the job, we are left alone upon the fields of battle with no aid. To the rest of the descendants whom may pledge their blade to our cause: Your word means nothing to us. Your actions speak for yourself. On the whitewashing of Un’satum After individuals of your group had come upon the lands of the Iron Horde with weapons and armor, without ever speaking to any of the leadership of the Iron Horde. To fight a war that is not yours to fight. To aid in a battle, that was not yours to battle. To slay beasts and dark creatures, that were not yours to slay. Instead, your poor choice to come upon the lands of the Iron Horde after publicly denouncing it and its people with weapons ready to fight was not only a crime against uruk-kind. But to all that Krug had fought for and what his descendants continue to in this very day to fight for. In this lapse of judgement by your kin, you failed to slay any dark creature and instead slayed the eldest and most respected uruk of all the Iron Horde. Including my closest friend, The Honorable, Skaatchnak'Akaal For these actions and your public disdain and hate for the Iron Horde, your settlement and its citizens were whitewashed. Your apology upon a sheet of paper which asked for us to travel to your lands felt heartless and meaningless for killing the most respected uruk of our generation. But, I am not one to offer you no way out of this. If the people of Un’satum wish for the whitewashing to be lifted, they are to bring me the alchemist that had slayed Skaatchnak’Akaal of the Iron Horde, dead or alive. Only then, will you prove yourselves honorable descendants and truly sorry for the actions that had transpired on that day. Only then, will the urukim of the Iron Horde forgive you for what you have done and your whitewashing to be lifted. REX, Willy of San’Velku and The Iron Horde
  9. Banned for leaking photo of new map
  10. Missives and notices are plastered across the many news boards within the orcish rexdom of the Iron Horde. “Brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, and children of Krug. I formally invite all of you to return to the rexdom of the Iron Horde for the meeting of the new REX. It is where I plan to reiterate the future goals of the Iron Horde and what else the future may have in store for us. I also plan to announce the changes within the leadership roles of the Iron Horde, where I also plan to announce the new Dominus. The road that leads us to greatness is not always the one of safety, companionship, and riches. Instead, it is often treacherous, filled with bumps and cracks, and dark beings lurking around every corner waiting to take what little you may have as you travel.” Date: ((10-28-2022 Friday, at 6PM EST)) Signed, Willy, REX of San'Velku
  11. The Iron Horde is the longest standing orcish civilization among the ancestry of descendents. Deriving its name from the first uruk, Krug, these lands are filled with battle-hardened people who strive for strength, power, and spirituality above all. With new blood, also comes a new name. The Rexdom of Krugmar is a name of the past and as we seek to move forward, we also seek new life to be breathed into us. GOVERNMENT Below will contain information regarding the current leadership positions within the Iron Horde. Rex The Rex is the leader of the Rexdom. Their role is to lead the urukin and their allies to new horizons and to expand the nation in ways they deem necessary. This role is decided by the current Rex at the time, or through a leadership council. This role is not gained through the ideas of “might makes right”. Dominus The Dominus, a hand of the Rex, is tasked with all things diplomacy and anything relating to it. He handles relations with other descendants across the realm. If it were land you sought for your people, a pact of sorts, or wish to set up caravans to come to Krugmar, he would be the one to speak to first. In his absence, you may speak with the Rex directly on these matters. In the absence of the Rex, you are to speak with the Dominus instead in urgent matters relating to the Rexdom. He works closely alongside the Rex and Targoth to assure the Rexdom is safe and will continue to thrive. Targoth The position of Targoth is dedicated to the member of Leadership that is in charge of the military of the Rexdom. They are tasked with working hard to recruit, train, and prepare the Rexdom for any conflicts whether they are present or future. Motshaman The Motshaman is the leader of the faith within the Rexdom. They must be a shaman and used to be hand-picked by the Rex. Yet in the modern day of the Iron Horde, the role of the Motshaman is chosen by the people and those who follow spiritualism. Their goal is to guide the shamans and spiritualists within the Iron Horde and anyone else who are devout followers of shamanism or spiritualism outside of the Iron Horde and often act as a link between the mortal and spiritual planes for those who seek his/her counsel. Yazgurtan The Yazgurtan is tasked with performing tasks for the Rexdom in regard to construction, industrialization, and more and is selected by the Rex however challenges are welcome. This position is essentially the “steward” of the nation and handles matters pertaining to housing, taxes, events, and more. The Yazgurtan would be considered the head steward but is often leading a few assistants to aid him/her on designated tasks. Yazgurtan Assistant Simply put, assistant to the Yazgurtan. They are specifically led by the Yazgurtan and answer to only him, the Targoth, Dominus, or Rex. Rukagoth - RETIRED The Rukagoth, a tool of the urukim. He is in charge of the creation of items, artifacts, and collecting such items that could better the Iron Horde in many different forms. From the creation of powerful weapons, spiritual items, armor, tools, and even the mundane such as tankards, chairs, thrones, and specialty trinkets. He is the one to go to if you look to have something commissioned! Huntsgoth - RETIRED The Huntsgoth is the member of the leadership that is in charge of leading legendary hunts that aid the Iron Horde. They are tasked with working with the Grubgoth for food supplies, holding hunting events, and training urukin to survive through the lands. This position is selected by the Rex; however, challenges are welcome. Grubgoth - RETIRED The Grubgoth, the one who cooks and provides food and drink across the Iron Horde. He is the individual who generally owns the taverns and bars and hires individuals to work them. He also provides the many food and drink options the Iron Horde has to offer and actively searches the realm for new recipes! If you have any needs for food and drink, you should contact the Grubgoth! Wargoth - RETIRED Wargoth’s are the Clan Leaders within the Iron Horde. Their role is to lead their clans to enlightenment and to serve the Iron Horde faithfully. They are strong voices within the leadership of the government and serve crucial roles as representatives of their ideologies. Goth - RETIRED The Goth position is the lowest form of leadership within the city and is given to individuals who have proven themselves to be useful to the Iron Horde and are granted specialized orders and rewards from the higher echelons of the Iron Horde’s Leadership. With the retired roles comes some consolidation. What once was will no longer be. The roles of the Grubgoth and the Huntsgoth have been consolidated to an assistant role - under the Yazgurtan. The Wargoth and Goth councils have failed the past leadership of the Iron Horde dating back centuries. It is time for a new approach to let clans come and go more freely as they see fit. Although clans may have their own hierarchy, the government no longer supplies them specialty roles or ranks amongst them and although the leaders of each clan may be seen as mighty, honorable, and strong, their voice, concerns, opinions, and criticisms will continue to be heard by the leadership of the Iron Horde just as before. Only this time, they no longer hold positions within the government of the Iron Horde. This decision came forth as a means to allow clans more freedom to do as they wish and not be tied down to the government or nation as a whole. CLANS They are comprised of like minded orcs and often serve dedicated spirits and perform specific tasks based off of the clan itself. Below is a list of the recognized clans within the lands of the Iron Horde. Uruks can create a clan of their own by attaining members and approaching the rex with a declaration of their clan that must then be accepted. In previous years, clan's held leadership positions amongst the government. With the new iteration of the Iron Horde, they have taken a more passive role when it comes to the government. Although their sway and voice remains powerful amongst the leadership of the Iron Horde and they take their words under advisement (so long as they continue to reside within the realm of the Iron Horde), the clans now operate as a separate entity from the government and are no longer forced to "serve" the government like the past but instead the government will continue to exist to help "serve" the clan, citizens, and "free people" of the Iron Horde. Clans no longer have binding obligations to the Iron Horde and are free to move about as they please, much like "royal families" of the other descendants are allowed to swear fealty to other nations, settlements, or groups should it be more suitable for them. Clans who show significant dedication to the Iron Horde may receive benefits such as land, titles, and more. Akaal Clan Akaal was formed through the unification of three enlightened clans: Ram, Izig, and Mog. Dedicating themselves to shepherding their urukim brethren to the Stargush'Stroh, the Akaal emphasize blood and spiritualism. Seeing the threat of the darkness, the Akaal seek to be the light that vanquishes those dark forces that threaten the world. For these reasons, shamans, alchemists, and haruspex are common within the Akaal, working together to pioneer a new age of blood and flame for their people. Dregort Clan Dregort was founded upon the basis of expanding the orcish race onwards into the sea that surrounds not only the orcish lands but many of the different nations and kingdoms upon Almaris. Descending from the son of Krug Dregort, this clan takes many sea-like aspects into its culture such as sailing, ship building, pillaging, and trading. The task given to this clan not only of the Iron Horde but of their ancestral lineage is to protect the harbors and docks of the Iron Horde alongside expanding the might of Krug throughout the seas. Ox Unlike uruks or ologs, goblins tend to lack the pure physical strength that others of their kin have. They are simply just not made to be these giant fighting machines that crush their enemy with their bare fists. Instead their strength lies elsewhere; in their mind. Goblins are cunning and creative creatures with the ability to come up and even create the most amazing machines. So, instead of crushing their enemy with their fists, they create something to accomplish that for them. Maybe a rock falling off at the right time, or maybe a very spiky roller being spun by the movement of the wagon pushed by some animals towards the enemy line. This is what goblins are for. They think, plan, and create machines of any purpose for their kin. Clan Ox intends to bring as many of these goblins together, to work together for even better inventions and creations. After all, where one may get stuck when inventing, another may find a way forward. Ungri Clan Ungri is a clan of ologs created by the one known as Drekür. They are ferocious in battle and serve many purposes within the Rexdom. Whilst their knowledge does not span great lengths, they are capable of worshiping three spirits in which they devote themselves to fully; Enrohk, Leyd, and Gazigazh. The primary entity of the Ungri’s worship is the Great Maw. Lur The Lur clan has made their mark upon the Orcish people through their prowess in hunting, animalism, and husbandry. Lur himself was renowned for not only slaying large and insurmountable beasts, but for taming them as well. Lur-Goi, one of the first orcish cities, sat atop the back of the most fearsome opponent; a Scaddernak. Paying respect to the honor of his lineage, the trials have been changed to better reflect this. Lak The Lak clan is a clan known for their devotion to the Spirit of the swamp, Laklul. The members of Clan Lak are very identifiable due to their blue skin, a trait which is very rare to be seen outside of the clan. The Laks typically favour their clan hall to be located in the swamps and marshes around the Iron Horde. Dezokh-nur Clan Dezokh-Nur specializes in diplomacy, storytelling, history keeping, and the material arts such as alchemy. While the clan isn’t specifically a clan of honoraries, it has a concentration of them larger than any other. As a result, those of Dezokh-Nur are Proto, Dark, or High Elves by blood mainly, with few rare Orcish bloodlines. Ugluk The Ugluk Clan are a semi-nomadic culture which subsists off of the bounties of their impressive livestock and from frequent raids upon their enemies. To be an Ugluk is to be a warrior, first and foremost, with all other aspects of life coming second. This is not to say that Ugluks are incapable of the arts or craftsmanship. To the contrary, Ugluks are renowned for their love of all things which bring passion to one’s life; whether it be through song or paint. Lastly, Ugluk culture is dominated by the ‘Two-Hornz’ philosophy. This doctrine holds that by competing with one another and creating conflict, all uruks will grow and prosper as one unit. The ‘Two-Hornz’ are headed by the patron spirits of Ugluk; Karazept and Qarkah. Raguk Formed by the most fierce warrior of his time, Malgunus, Raguk is a clan dedicated to the defense of the Iron Horde in its entirety. Using a particularly important metal known as bloodsteel and traditionally riding huge beasts known as Myrzym. The Orcs of the Raguk clan typically possessed red skin and worship the Trio Pantheon of Leyd, Gazigash and Genthrauz. Simply put Raguk is dedicated to three things above all else, defense of the Iron Horde, strength, and the pouring of blood. Gorkil Ever since the unification of the Orcish people, few names have stayed as constant as the name Gorkil. Renowned for their honor and ferocity in battle, they have been called by some the ‘Prime Orc’ - strong and honorable, but in return incredibly prone to their own bloodlust. Fueled by pride and a passion for combat, the clan has stood as a pillar of not just Orcish society, but the world. Empires have been founded and crumbled, the dead risen and fallen, but Gorkil still stands, steadfast, eternal. Yar Yar is a long-running clan of wisemen and those who dedicate themselves to reverence and worship of the spirits, founded by the great shaman Malog in Anthos. All Yars are given ruthless trials before adopting the name to properly instill in them the pillars and pitfalls of honor. Every Yar is expected to think for themselves and to have an acute awareness of the Spirits - for their eyes and Krug's are always upon us. There exists not the distinction among the Clan for 'good' and 'evil', as these are subjective terms even to the Spirits- what is not up for subjectivity, is honor and discipline. Though not every Yar will be famed as a 'great thinker', all can bring honor to him whose name they share through their thoughts and actions. Among the Yars, bones are sacred as a symbol of structure, integrity and uprightness - several of the Pillars of Honor taught to every aspiring member. The removal of bones as a Clan punishment, an excruciating and fatal process known as Deboning, is a means by which the Yars declare a lack of these traits in the offender. Due to their symbolic nature, it is a practice among the Yars to adorn themselves with the bones of fallen enemies or of beasts slain in hunts, be it by simply hanging them from their person or by fashioning piercings thereof. “Wisdom is born of a strong mind. It is more practical than philosophy, agh goes beyond mere knowledge. It is the ability for right living, common sense, wit, resolution of life’s problems, agh success beyond material gain. Gruk for latself, but heed the blahings of those more experienced with the respect agh consideration due them. Learn from life, agh apply latz learning in a way that means something.” -The Contemplations of Malog, V1 CLAN WARS Clan wars have served as a strong inner-conflict for ages within the lands of orcs. However in recent times, the presence of such has diminished almost entirely. However, they are essential to the growth of the Iron Horde therefore the process of such a war must be defined clearly. Declaration To declare a clan war, the leader of a clan must publicly declare such to a clan and then make a paper declaration that will be posted within the Iron Horde. After this declaration, the defending clan has a minimum of 24 hours of grace before conflict may begin. Rules The rules of a Clan War are simple. Clans are able to deface and destroy property, have conflict, destroy objects, and more. Clans however are recommended not to bring death upon other urukim and can be punished if they are found to seek such of the other clan. During clan wars the Rex may declare terms for victory or alter terms set forth by the clan as they deem necessary. Clan wars may also be put on halt should the safety of the Iron Horde come into question. CODES OF KRUG The will by which the orcish people follow. To go against the ancient codes is to spit upon KRUG and his people. On the Krug-Hai Here follows the ancient code of the Krug-Hai, Krug’s most loyal warriors. All warriors are expected to hold these as their own honor. Code Azh; To go against the will of the Rex is to spit on Krugs name. Below the word of the Rex is the Dominus and Targoth, who may only be defied by words directly from the Rex. Code Dub; One may not overthrow the Rex without previous approval of all the leadership followed by a klomp. Code Gakh; One may not kill the defenseless or unarmed. They may be captured, but not slain. Code Futh; To raid or attack the allies of the Iron Horde is to violate the will of KRUG Code H’; Using one’s military rank to influence the decision of their superiors is to dishonor one's self and demerit their worth. On the Spirits Here follows the laws of the spirits, which govern religion and mojo within the Iron Horde. All Uruk-hai are expected to hold these as their own honor. Code Azh; Faith in the Spirits must be absolute; The gods of outsiders may not be held higher in one's heart than the spirits. Code Dub; Greater than any other weakness of faith, practicing bûrz’mojo such as Dark Shamanism, Necromancy, Voidal magic(s), or Naztherak disgusts the Spirits and violates the will of KRUG. Code Gakh; To use the gift of Shamanism to further one’s personal agenda, rather than as a tool to guide and worship, is to abuse the Spirits themselves. Code Futh; Injuring or killing a shaman outside of an agreed-upon klomp violates the will of KRUG, the Spirits, and weakens the Uruk-hai. Code H’; To conspire with, shelter, or conceal a Dark Shaman is to be an accessory to their abuse of the Spirits. On Honor Here follows the laws of honor, the cornerstone of Orcish culture; It is they that keep us on the path of Krug. All citizens of the Iron Horde are expected to hold these as their own honor. Code Azh; To klomp one who is unarmed, one must cast off their weapons as well. To ignore this command weakens one’s honor. Code Dub; To slay one who is outnumbered or vastly weaker than you is to shame the name of KRUG. They may be captured, but not killed. Code Gakh; To kill someone who isn’t expecting it, such as during an honor klomp where death is not agreed upon or when they believe they are one's friend, spits upon the name of KRUG. Code Futh; Slaying a brudda outside of an honor klomp where such was agreed upon weakens the Uruk-hai. Code H’; Knowingly evading the consequences for one's actions, whether defeat or violation of the codes, is cowardice; One should accept their punishment. Code H’Azh; To form an oath or give one's word but fail to uphold it violates the will of KRUG and weakens one's honor. One’s word should never be questioned; It is one's law. Code H’Dub; Intentionally sewing rebellion and strife is not the uruk way; It is Krug’s will that his people openly state their dissatisfaction, not whisper of it in the shadows. Code H’Gakh; Refusing to honor the terms of a klomp spits on KRUG’s name and weakens one’s honor. Krug favors those who fight the hardest for what they believe. Code H’Futh; A klomp without reason is a klomp worth no honor; This includes klomps with outsiders who have done nothing to slight the Uruk-hai. Code Azhty; To intentionally harm a kub of any race disgraces KRUG as well as oneself. Injury during training, trials, or klomps challenged by the kub themselves are the only exceptions. Code Azhty-Azh; Stealing from one’s bruddas, whether through stealth or honorless klomping, weakens one’s honor. Code Azhty-Dub; Kneeling to any-ONE or any-THING violates the will of KRUG and weakens one’s honor. Code Azhty-Gakh; To force another to kneel disgusts KRUG; The dishonor of the act falls to the one who forced it to happen. On Snagas Truth be told, the Snagas of old were an outdated act to abuse the powers Krug has granted us. It was to give into the spirits demands and forgo a true sense of HONOR above all else. The honorable alone are strong enough to conquer any task at hand and require no aid from those who are not driven by a sense of honor. Finally, many times has Snagadom led to the abuse of those forced into it and resulted in half-breed children left to suffer a cursed life. On Punishments Should an honorable stray away from the written codes, their punishment will be decided by the Rex, Dominus, or Targoth. It may also be delivered by their clan’s leadership. Painting; A period of atonement served by painting an orc’s body with symbols, words and pigments to shame them. They may not wash the painting off until their atonement has been served. Disarming; A period of punishment delivered by the confiscation of an orc’s weapons and barring from obtaining more until the punishment has been served. They may not participate in raids or challenge others to klomp during this time. Pugging; A period of penance served by painting an orc’s tusks and face and encouraging the community to flog and shame them without retaliation. During this time, their klomps are invalid and they are considered honorless. Cursing; A period of penance served by an orc submitting themselves to being cursed by the shamans for their crimes, directly inflicting the spirits’ ire upon them for a period of time. Branding; Atonement served by the permanent branding of a sigil representing the offender’s crime. Mutilation; Crippling or maiming an offender in such a way that in the future they are unable to perform their crime again; The severing of a thief’s hand, the removal of a liar’s tongue, etc. Whitewashing; Atonement served by banishment from orcish society and allowing them to be hunted with impunity. Those who are Whitewashed must undergo trials to lift their status. Sacrifice; Execution carried out in the name of the spirit or spirits that an orc has wronged, optionally delivered through klomping until they are slain. Execution; Execution delivered without the right to klomp or done in the name of the spirits, considered the harshest possible punishment, as it is a death denied of any honor.
  12. Letters are sent to all citizens of the Iron Horde. “All clans of the Iron Horde are hereby free of the prior constraints of the clan trophy system. But this change does not come by itself. As we continue to move forward as one horde, descendants of Krug, it is my wish for the clans of the Iron Horde to be as free as they possibly can be. In the near future there are plans for the government and its roles to be shaken up as well. Expect another missive within the next 2 cactus days detailing these changes. I hope for the clans to prosper and find unity, honor, and strength in numbers with the upcoming changes.” Signed, REX Willy of San’Velku
  13. “To all who inhabit the lands of the urukim, your new REX has one request. LEAVE. We are entering a new era, one forged in fire and in stone. We no longer wish for your populace to stain the lands of the mighty descendants of Krug. Instead, you are to make way for the future. For the urukim will reign supreme over their lands. You will be given 2 years (2 weeks starting October 22nd. Ending on Novermber 5th.) to vacate our land. Failure to do so will result in the razing of your homes.” Signed, REX Willy of San’Velku The bottom of the letter would have a wax stamp consisting of a skorpion. Another letter would be penned personally to Davli of the Verdant Glade. “Davli, although we had only met once before, I see your hard work and effort put into your Glade. Although you might hear of a letter that was penned to the vassals within the Iron Horde, I am assuring you that you are most welcome to stay and your Verdant Glade will not be removed from the lands of the Iron Horde out of good faith. We have seen the struggles both of us have endured over the years and we hope that you decide to prosper with the urukim, together, as one.” Signed, REX Willy of San’Velku The bottom of the letter would have a wax stamp consisting of a skorpion.
  14. Upon the many homes within the Rexdom of Krugmar, upon the notice boards and sent to each known Urukim still residing within the lands of the Rexdom would be a letter. “A sad day is upon us, brothers and sisters. For our honorable REX has chosen to leave his duty as ruler over the Rexdom and instead turn to a life of travel. REX Sahgorim’Ugluk, first of his name, the honorable. If this letter reaches you directly, let it be known that the former Iron’Uzg and the new Rexdom of Krugmar thanks you for your dedication to the descendants of Krug. But this is not a time to mourn him leaving us. Instead, we must seek a more prosperous future. For years our numbers have dwindled since the previous wars against man and elf. We have seen leaders come and go both at the highest level and at the level of the clans. We have allowed the dark spawn which we have sworn to destroy make their beds near our very homes without repercussion. We have been accused of having no honor amongst ourselves. We have allowed others to come into our lands and force their own views upon our people without repercussion. We have been bullied and beaten even when we have sought peaceful lives within our own lands. From this day forth, all of that will change. As is tradition when a REX is killed or is lost to the wilds, the Dominus is to take up the position in place of the REX. I, Willy of San’Velku, will accept my fate as REX of the Rexdom of Krugmar. With this, brothers and sisters, I will revive the people of the Rexdom and I make this promise to the people that if I fail at my task that my life is to be forfeit to the Ancestors of the Stargush’Stroh.” Signed, REX Willy of San’Velku, former Dominus of the Rexdom of Krugmar.
  15. The First Diplomatic Assembly of the Iron’Uzg Notices are sent to the leaders of nations presumed friendly to the Iron’Uzg and the HORDE. This would include nations such as Balian, Haense, Malinor, Sedan, Acre, and Vistulia. Upon receiving the notice, they’d see it stamped with a scorpion in yellow wax to keep it sealed. “To all who wish to answer the call to send dark creatures back to the underworld where they belong. To all who wish to raise swords against a mighty foe, one we cannot defeat on our own but together we can banish them from our realm for an eternity. To seek the plaguing of our sons, daughters, and elderly to cease. To stop the innocent from being struck down by such creatures and the magics they wield… WE SEEK TO ANSWER YOUR CALL. The Iron’Uzg and the HORDE formally call a meeting of the minds between all nations united under one goal: To rid the realm of dark magic and creatures that continue to plague our lands and people. With recent crusades brought up in many nations and a similar one being posted by the leadership of the Iron’Uzg, it is my duty to call an assembly to meet under peaceful terms to discuss our end goals and how we could aid the good and the holy.” A date would be written at the bottom of the note with a destination. ((Sunday, September 25th at 4PM EST. The meeting will take place in the orcish capital, San’Velku.)) Willy “The Blessed”, Dominus of the Iron’Uzg and the HORDE Sahgorim of Clan Ugluk, Rex of the Iron’Uzg, Protector of Urukim, Bullgoth of Clan Ugluk
  16. "Doez any urukim uf duh HORDE gruk where diz clan hall even wuz?" asks the orcish diplomat as he just shook his head. He figured the dwarven people to be a group of honorable kin. Yet as time continues to pass, the Irehearts and their king continued to prove him wrong...
  17. An orc would wonder why a dwarf believes a bandit group still resided in their lands. He'd go into his chest and retrieve an old missive put out long ago, denouncing such group and their actions and one that had already apologized for such... Then he thought to himself that there must be another motive...
  18. The Ilzpaak Lombai (The zodiac festival) A festival of the orcish zodiac to celebrate the creation of time and of life itself and the spirits that align themselves to the Ilzpaak. This grand festival will happen over a span of 3 (OOC) days. We, the honorable people of San’Velku and the HORDE of Krugmar invite all people across all of Almaris to lay down their swords and armor to experience a once in a lifetime event. There will be plenty of food, drink, and games to be had within the lands of the HORDE. We will be hosting 3 events over the 3 days with a few mini-events in between to keep all those who wish to join us entertained. Day 1: Friday, July 29th (8PM EST) A cook-off to kick-off the start of the festival! All who wish to participate will be asked to fill out a form and return it to a delegation of the HORDE. Whatever you wish to cook is up to you, so long as it is edible. There will be 3 judges to judge who offers the best meal of Almaris and who will win the grand prize and title of “Stomach of Krug”. (Grand prize: 100 mina and a story item!) Location: The tavern within San’Velku, the left path after entering the gate of the capital of the Iron’uzg. Day 2: Saturday, July 30th (3 PM EST) A klomp to decide it all. We will fight till we can no longer! All who wish to fight for the glory of their people and themselves we ask that you come show your true strength and might! Prove to the spirits themselves in their own eyes as they look down upon us from the various other realms and show them that you have what it would take to pass on to the Stargush’stroh! All who wish to enter please fill out a form and return it to a delegation of the HORDE. The winner will receive the grand prize, bragging rights, honor, and be titled the “The sword of Krug”. (Grand prize: 150 mina and 2 story items!) Location: The fighting pit within San’Velku, the left path after entering the gate of the capital of the Iron’uzg. Day 3: Sunday, July 31st (All day long) A day of rebirth, communion, and rejoice. We honor the spirits and the devout followers who worship them. We invite all who wish to experience shamanism whether it be to contact ancestors, past family members, greater spirits, or if you just look for more knowledge or blessings to come and experience all that the honorable shamans of the HORDE have to offer. It is mistaken that the shamans are those with bloodlust on their mind, seeking to harm others of the realm for the sake of a greater good. We aim to prove to those who are willing to see and experience first hand the wonders of the shamans and their powers to not only contact those of the past, but also bless those in their future endeavors or heal them from what ails them. In this day we also ask that those who wish to be reborn in the eyes of the spirits and given a blessed path that will lay the foundations for their future to come participate in the Ilzhonal rebirth rituals that will be happening all day long! All you need to do to participate this day is to show up and ask for a shaman or ask for an Ilzhonal. Location: San’Velku, Capital city of the Iron’uzg. Form for participation (Please fill out and reply in this thread.) Name: Allegiance: Race: Competition chosen (Just say both if you wish to participate in both): Minecraft Username:
  19. Removal of the AH to help a small handful of people who want to do merchant RP and punishing the majority of new and average players by removing them access to mundane enchanted items or basic items for survival isnt the route. People dont update shops enough within cities to make them a viable option. I see you make a lot of ST signed items (whether you just sign them or whether you actually make them) and know for a fact not even 1/4th of the server would have access to those items if it werent for the AH. As someone who has spent the past 2 weeks searching for an enchanter only to find 1 willing to do anything at all, keep the AH. Shouldnt punish our new players because some older players want to do a very niche type of RP.
  20. "Dey ahm nub wize, bruddah. Fur dey ahm blinded by their piouz viewz. Dey nub even peep dat dey walked right into duh curzed landz." the orc said with a chuckle, returning to his farm house where he found all of his bales of hay and farming equipment still there and clearly not stolen. Perhaps they stole the junk he was hoping someone eventually would take so he didnt have to dispose of it himself...
  21. When the server makes a set of rules that clearly states to keep RP in RP and OOC in OOC and not let the two mingle and actually enforces it, you will see change. You were always cool in my book. I never had any problems with you. As someone who has been through what you've been through multiple times since I joined in 2011, I feel your pain. Even to this day, I still cant go into another VC where some of my friends are without the group I am currently with calling me out for it. Its sad.
