If you are a "spectator" or recording a warclaim unofficially (Not endorsed by Media Team) during a warclaim, your MC life is not under any protection.
I believe this should be posted as a F.A.Q. section in the war rules. So in the future if someone is "unofficial" they have no reason to claim otherwise.
