Well, I would simply investigate. If I found anything of interest, I'd run some studies on it. Not much else to say. While at a local bar you see two dark hooded figures in the corner discussing in a whispered conversation. You can't quite make out what they're saying but you clearly hear the word "artifact". I'd simply ask them what they are discussing about. If they deny me to know, I would simply walk away; no need to push a subject.
