      I think it depends on the player and how the character is played, not the race. Personally I think the humans need more scholars, but the other suggestions are great ^^

      The Remembrancer guild of the Dwarves, the Alchemists Guild, The inventors guild, and the Cognitive Accord are what come to mind. Not exactly colleges, but similar due to their studies

      Just because you can't stick to one character doesn't mean they're bad characters. Everyone's different. The 'one awesome character forever' mentality isn't necessarily right. If you LIKE having multiple characters as I do, then embrace it.~ Not much harm in it really.

      I'd say Human. They usually want to live it up before they face their mortality. Halflings in LoTC are generally more suited towards where ever they're settled and are content with not leaving it as they fear much of the outside world.
