As a son of a teacher, hot damn some union is needed. Ever have a contract that promised a five percent raise every where and for the tenth year running, not get a raise and take even more unpaid days? But boy if you break YOUR side imma **** you straight the **** up.

It's hard to have these conversations on a message board like this, but the notion that UNIONS are what cause the outsourcing of labour to foreign countries, or the automation of labour, is really really inaccurate, I think.

The reason these are outsourced is because these worse off countries have a lower standard of living and thus you pay them dollars a day. As for automation, it is a natural point of progress. Even china is losing jobs to automation RN- we've gotta get ready for that ****.
