What benefit do you even get out of this? You've made some pretty big promises which come with a pretty big price tag. You have no doubt got some semblance of a business running there and so I find it hard to believe that anyone with business sense would make such a bold claim (and a large loss) unless of course you're getting something more from this than we know.

It's a shame that the vast majority of players who would be good GMs have real jobs that require their attention throughout the day. No one wants to work all day and then come home to clean up this **** storm. Although to the GMs that do, You're ******* crazy as ****.

I am glad this post was made. Although the one issue is what is the point in world editing their town else where so you can have an event region when it will still have the same activity and it will be exactly the same size regardless of where it is. Just take the tract of land you were going to give them and use that for event. It saves a lot of work all around. Matters like this should be handled by staff and players. Not just the staff.

I think the staff should release a statement detailing why they chose to do this. In fact I think they should do this with every major decision and include the community as without the community LoTC is nothing

So I had a tattoo on Monday which is the first piece of my sleeve. It's based on mythical creatures and I want to have three sections to it, One in the ocean (Which is doneish), one on land and one in the sky. The only problem is I am struggling to figure out what mythical creature to have for the land based section. For the ocean I have gone with a Kraken tearing up a ship which I think is pretty badass and I want something on a similar level. It will be position on my upper arm and the third section will stretch to my back and chest. You can see the first stage of the sleeve here:

Okay well for one thing this is an entirely different event I am talking about. I am referring to the incident at the dwarven city... Perhaps you acted differently in this separate raid however quite frankly, you guys were total **** heads with the ooc spam shouting. If I didn't make it clear I was referring to this group of players who were wholly from Oren. I have perma killed my mage nor have I ever played an elf. So that no longer affects me and even when I played my mage it would not bother me because I tried not to be in role play, OOCly however it is a different story all together because I am total **** and I happily admit that. The group who did the spamming, raiding and simple trolling are a toxic cancer to this server which we will never be free from. I do not like the fact that you are trying to defend your behaviour and I am very happy you got the bans you deserved (And I am happy you got some undeserved bans too.) Because that's just the kind of person I am when dealing with a bunch of players such as yourself. From my past two years of experience throughout many human nations I know for a fact it is only the core group of players that make up the foundation that give it the bad name it has, with a few exceptions of course. This then spreads as newer members join which makes the server a worse place. I see next to no reason as to why you replied to my comment to be quite honest with you, It just seems like a way of justifying your actions to yourself rather than to me. Your actions have wider consequences than you realise. When you shout ooc things through an RP channel it does get to people on the other side of their monitor (Clearly or I wouldn't be breaking my silence on all I have witnessed in two years.) So next time you are all out to have your pvp fun shouting your OOC comments in shout please remember that you are talking to an actual human being that has feelings just like you do. I was there. The reason why I'm comparing real life to this server is because people feel like they can do what the **** they want and get away with it. If this server enforced all the rules that it is supposed to that would have never have happened because all of the people who were leading that group would have been banned long ago. Also forget it being an analogy. It's the attitude that this isn't real life that is a problem. This is real life. It's a way for people to unwind from the stresses of working and whatever else they have to do in today's society which is why the issue of having a bunch of idiots come around attacking them. You wouldn't like it if you were trying to chill out and then a bunch of random guys came over and started ruining your fun? You would probably get pissed of too. You need to be able to role play outside the server in order to have a character on the server. Although with you I am using the term role playing loosely.

That depends on your interpretation. The presence of the people in that area still contributed to the main problem, Even if they didn't spam they were party to the events which is just as bad. Hence why in real life most countries will sentence the same or a similar sentence to people who are a party to crimes. It's not unfair or unjust. I think you're all just angry because for once someone has put their foot down. EDIT** Unfair and Unjust are essentially the same thing, I just thought I'd point that out before someone else did

It's not that hard to understand, The group of players general attitude is the worst I have ever seen in an online community. You are all getting worse and it stems from the fact that nothing is being done. As Humans are one of the more popular races newer players will join your group and take the same attitude (See Nathan_Barnett) And will wonder why the rest of the server dislikes them. I think it's about time you realise no one else is laughing with you and you're ruining everyone else's fun in LOTC for your own sake. You need to think about that before you do something.
