      Doxxing is genuinely illegal. Pursue some legal action against them. It’s either a kid; in which case their parents will probably have a few choice words with them. Or it’s an adult who hasn’t fully accepted individual responsibility; which a misdemeanour charge would definitely wake them up

      The GM went off the evidence presented, if either side omitted or withheld information then there’s not much we can do. We’re not omnipresent.

       

      And how did jollyb act unprofessional exactly? I was watching the ban report pretty closely, seemed fine to me.

      GMs can waive punishments depending on a number of factors. ‘If it’s assigned then it can’t be waived’ isn’t a good policy, especially if evidence that was previously omitted or unknown to the case then surfaces.

      Pretty much the same implication with the quote.

       

      Point is, staff collectively doesn't hate any playerbase; that's a ridiculous statement as is. But yes, we have gotten more strict with punishments. Especially when harassment started becoming more prominent for a while.

       

      However, I can't speak for what went down in that duel. If what Wolfkite says is true, then that's genuinely unfortunate and I hope it's addressed sooner rather than later. But most of us weren't aware of this if it was the case; even now there's little publicized information regarding it within the core staff chats.

      Yeah thats a bit silly @argle-bargle. But I mean with justified cases of bans; especially permanent ones. Permas aren't handed out often, when they are it's usually quite a big deal.

      Anyway yeah memes aside, @Hobbs_Burrows you're extremely lucky that the GM put up with your behaviour for that long. The ban is more than justified, and I sincerely hope you take the holidays to fix yourself up.

      Nordengrad is usually the most popular during Aussie hours, but is focused on Human RP. Fair few of us hang around there. Otherwise Velia since Dingo is over there which I think is multi-race? Gladewynn is good for elf RP though.
