I don’t think all those forum threads were necessary. There should be some rules against spamming the forums like that.

All of you need to shoosh, this is a bit of a cringe.
Anyway, people have always been allowed to make threads like that, as long as they have a purpose and a reason to be separate. While I feel like it could be grouped into one thread, I suppose it makes organization easier. Plus it's a good flex I guess.

I am not here to call anyone out specifically, but I really am surprised by some of the replies to this thread:
While I am glad so many are speaking out about this topic, it shocks me that I see some of the people who have spoken of their own ‘disgust’ and horror at the acts described, and the situation as a whole, are some of the same people I know to have committed these acts and have gotten away with it, even when reported, or people who have actively shamed and ridiculed victims of these pedophiles persistently over a very long course of time. If you can’t look at yourself and know that you’re part of the problem, or someone who acts insensitive towards someone who had to go through this, you have no right to post false sympathies on a thread that is written in kindness and support.
Really disappointing.

This is not over, nor will it ever be. Urguan attacking an unfinished freebuild, then complaining that it took too long and was unfair. Not to mention that they spread many lies as well. Hi Branden, I’m a moderation manager. Nectorist followed standard procedure in handling hacked client suspicions. He found that you did, in fact, have a modified client (resourcepack in this case) which gave you an unfair advantage over other players; being an X-Ray resourcepack. This isn’t something we allow on the server, as explicitly stated in our rules under Player Rules: §1.8 Do not use hacked clients that grant you an advantage or cheat in any way. The ban length that was given to you was within our standard ban length protocol as well.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to approach any of the current moderation managers (Murlocs – myself, LogPitsPun, or Doriftu). Alternatively, you can approach the moderation administrator LogPitsFire.

Suicide’s a bit more complex to solve than the completely ignorant solution of ‘go out and fix it’. It’s also completely ignorant to say that ‘others have it worse’ – personal problems are completely subjective; people view every problem differently.
Though suicide is pretty selfish. And anyone who makes a public display regarding it is, more often than not, vying for attention over having those genuine thoughts.
There are hotlines you can call. There are people you can speak to.

many players ask for temp bans every year as they become addicted to games and want to ensure they will not and cannot ruin their lives by failing to focus on study, I would have thought after years of study tempbans happening they would have understood that rather than msging me bullshit calling me pathetic and a child. I clearly had no intentions on breaking any rules, I asked nicely multiple times and modreq’d but was actually called out by the staff member saying “do it” implying that was the only way to receive a ban. Good staff. ?

I’m not quite sure what it is that has me in some doubt you made that video ‘solely to receive a ban and focus on real life’. It might be the music you added to it. Or the fact you wanted to show it off. Has me beat to say the least.
Anyway, from what I heard from management, you were denied your requested self-ban as it was quite obvious you were intending to use it to sit out your VB – you weren’t too happy to find out that the VB is paused during a ban and continues after. When you return I’d advise taking the time to genuinely try out some roleplay.

No one’s freaking out about your status update.
I was just commenting on the silliness behind ruining other players’ enjoyment (even temporarily in this case) instead of having enough self control to simply log off of the server. The staff member saying ‘do it’ said it because they thought you were joking; since most players do have enough self control to hop offline from the server if they have something important on.
Though you’re right, IRL over LotC. That’s why you bothered to do it in the first place, record it, slap some music on it, upload it, then put it on the status updates instead of actually studying.
