This would be for Petra's lands in the new map. So, a map of the capital city, and a map of political subdivisions in the Commonwealth (feudal holds, villages, etc.).

We could look at allowing some non-manager GMs handle forum back-end. It would potentially be on a case-by-case basis and the relevant admins (Llir and Braxis) would have to be okay with it. Drop a suggestions thread in this forum for me.

But the issue isn’t aimed at you in particular. The issue is there are dozens of moderators and very few have the skillset. This has resulted in serious issues in the past; hence the limitation. As for content moderation on the forums, that is solely a GM thing. I suggest you speak to your manager about that and find some solutions. With regards to subforums being a mess, please let me know any specific ones that are and I would be happy to fix them.

Hey Zacho. Previously many people had access to that level of forum management. This resulted in the accidental deletion of Krugmar, constant forum permission errors, etc. I spent probably two or three weeks after permissions were minimized to just admins + GM managers, fixing everything up to be properly functional. It is unreasonable to expect that every GM will have the technical know-how to manage the forums properly. Due to this, we limit who can perform these functions. It prevents errors. Ultimately, if you have a forum you want tweaked or added, you can let me or a GM manager+ know – we will get to it promptly!

It also behaves differently sometimes. It used to just switch who /r sent messages to if you had multiple people who messaged you. /r first sends it to person A, then /r again to B, then A, then B, alternating. But today it started just breaking completely.

That was /r to a person who just messaged me and was online at the time.

I’m an orphan so the holidays are very boring and dull. Infinite free time during winter break from uni. Usually I’ll spend time with friends or what have you but I went thru a tough breakup and all my buddies went off for vacation or back home to their families this year. orphan + free time + friends away – gf = mineman escapism

I’ve been here for many years and I think I’ve organically ran into an event one or two times. The events that I have been apart of, beyond those that I joined organically, were massive “mainline story” events, which are not all that engaging. Honestly, I have always enjoyed character-driven, organic, emergent roleplay over a dungeonmaster-style setup. I think that may be in part because I have never really been to many events, but still.

That isn't the point at all. The point is that in playing here, you should strive to promote fluid and logical roleplay. You should be ready to win or lose depending on the outcome of this interactive story we are writing together. If your out of character goal is merely to win, and not to allow for dynamic roleplay, then that's an issue. Obviously, someone will win and someone will lose, but that isn't what Telanir was discussing.
