    I've been playing her since late Atlas, she is a big voidal mage lady, and has spent time as a demon-creature (is mortal now). She is currently ~235

    She is currently trying to figure out her racial heritage, and is searching for a potential lost father.

      Druids are more of a culture/lifestyle magic than they are an actual active Magic. The magic itself is often reserved for combat / events, but even then Druids tend to just use weapon and armour in combat unless it's a larger, greater enemy.

      Druidism itself, as I said before, is more of a culture and lifestyle. Within the Vale, lots of characters aren't Druids at all, and don't even want the magic, but still are part of the Druidic culture. It's one of the most expanded lore pieces on the server afaik - now with Animal Gods (Mani), the Eternal Forest, the Nature Dragon, the Four Paths, the Priesthood etc. etc.

      Not to mention, as I also said in an earlier comment, the Vale is currently the most active Druidic settlement, and is incredibly friendly and welcoming and protective of its playerbase against toxicity and icky people!

       

      Some older players who are since banned / left of their own accord have done a few things in the past which trolls like to latch onto and milk insults out of when they have no affiliation with the current druid playerbase, so just ignore them!

      I'd argue it depends on the community you'd like to get involved with.

       

      I returned when I got Covid and had to isolate for a week, and was on my human in Oren for about 2 days before swapping to my elf and joining the Vale. I find I hardly have to leave the Vale for RP, as there's almost always someone around, and the community is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and open to RP with whoever, whenever - not to mention how hard its leaders work to ensure it remains a safe space ooc'ly for everyone.

       

      Tbh, the Vale is the only thing keeping me on LOTC. I have no desire to join any other community currently, after experiencing almost all of them throughout my near-decade on this server.

       

      I may be slightly biased tho.

    are there any non-druid aligned elven societies that aren't just for high elves? please i want to do elf rp but im banished and im SICK of the humans!!!! (not to mention i have a human that i play already and i don't wanna stick to the same communities)
