@BrawmsI can understand your perspective on the lack of accepting the outcome by simply relocating - but again, I think a lot of details are being missed. The Vale lost their leadership through the subjugation and the community is much smaller than what it used to be. Fleeing their current tile also results in them losing their current home in a somewhat centralised location, and now having to spend ridiculous amounts of mina, time, and energy rebuilding. There is a lot of OOC and RP after-effects that aren't being dismissed simply because they relocated.

I also think that leaving the Server due to being subjugated is a bit worse than simply relocating, but I don't know the full OOC story or anything either. Simply a comment based on my limited perspective.

I agree with the issue of lair/settlements etc. flooding the map. I think this has always been a large issue, because it does expand RP way too much to find a decent place to spend your time. Being able to /creq asking for a locals check helps a little bit, but I would like to see a better resolution to the settlement app flooding.

I have to disagree with the "1 Nation per race" idea, though. A lot of racial communities have very different aesthetics and communities, and it's not entirely fair to force everyone to get along in a single settlement. I would suggest maybe capping the number of settlements / lairs - which would encourage conflict in order to create your own settlement, but doesn't really make sense on an RP level. I'm not sure what a good solution to this would be, just adding my thoughts.

I think a lot of details are being missed here. On a mechanical level, I can understand your perspective - but narratively, the community's leaders all "fled and vanished", and they suffered heavy losses. The community I rejoined is much smaller than the one I left, and IRP the few remaining survivors have fled their conquered home to set up camp in the ruins of another city.

There is absolutely nothing preventing Haelun'or from continuing their conquest to try and wipe them off the map once again - and H'nor achieved the loss of their entire leadership and cleaved the community quite heavily by conquering them. It's not quite the same as a whole Nation just shrugging and moving across the map to rebuild and continue as if nothing happened, in my opinion.

@UnwillinglyI do agree with you there. It was something widely debated at map launch, but it feels like it's calmed down too much now for a change to be implemented. The players must rally!!

Realistically, I imagine its a good introduction to soulstones for New Players, but it becomes a bit tedious when you have to constantly bind/unbind.

Avyn writes. She is a big scholar, and finds writing her thoughts helps her process and heal.

Noruiwyn is an ex chaos demon, and thus has lingering instabilities. She has a large pool of patience despite this, but certain things can tick her off and then she just explodes. Following any angered bout, she tends to struggle with returning to her more reserved 'patient' self, and generally needs a few days before she feels 'normal' again. She tends to linger around specific people who help her calm down and feel normal :)

Avyn is a member of one of the original Seeds from when 'Ame Seeds were first implemented - Calithil (now Acaele'thil). Unlike the other seeds that gained new members through trials etc, Calithil was very strictly bloodline with the extremely rare honourary title gifted (maybe 2 in existence). As a result, she only considers her family to be those who are blood, or those related via marriage who make an active effort to be in her life. This helps cut out the ridiculous amount of "family" gained through marriages into other seeds etc.

Noruiwyn has forged her own family with a daughter she adopted over two centuries ago. As a mortal, prior to her original ascension, her family was of marriage and legitimate children. After ascending and having her soul warped, she abandoned this family and instead developed a 'found family' through the form of very close connections. It is interesting to see her perspective on family adjust the more she reflects on her path and comes to new realisations!

I'm loving these questions, tbh

My Druid uses polearms primarily, as a lingering habit of her time spent as a War Cleric. She can use other weapons, but she's definitely not as well-practiced or as capable. Currently she's using a glaive as sort of a nod to Awaiti. She never met Awaiti during her lifetime, but has spoken to her from the Eternal Forest, and is following heavily in her teachings, so it's very vibey.

My mage uses daggers mostly, because she's way too weak for anything else. She used to be an immortal gremlin, and still lacks a proper diet - tending to just sort of eat only when she gets hungry. She is somewhat malnourished and much weaker than she should be, alongside her voidal poisoning. I RP her as being very light and easy to topple / struggling with heavy weaponry quite a bit, so lightweight daggers are her main tool!

@BorinI like your idea. My initial concern was "What if members of the community have valuable input regarding whether a banned player deserves a place back in the community or not?", but I imagine if they can at least see that an appeal has been posted, they can reach out to staff with such input - even if they can't read the appeal directly.
