Sorry pal. You gotta rewrite them again.

  2. Declaration of Regency, 1572 With a private issue keeping the Archduke of Lorraine from active service, it is by Lothar d’Amaury’s request that his brother, Jacques d’Amaury, assumes the role of regent. With this declaration, let the following be known: All responsibilities entrusted of the Archduke lay upon Jacques d’Amaury, and may only be revoked by decree of Lothar d’Amaury himself. Issues pertaining to the vassals of the Archduchy will now find themselves represented by Jacques d’Amaury, his new found authority to be used to secure the most favourable and just outcome in both direction and decision. Matters concerning prospect vassalage, Lotharingians abroad, and all other concerns that require representation of the Archduchy will only find Jacques d’Amaury, or whomever he shall delegate as a representative. Upholding the functions of the Imperial Administration, any responsibilities now seeing themselves left unserviced are now Jacques’ to maintain. Should Lothar be unable to return to his roles, Jacques will remain heir to his titles and the responsibilities that come with them. Hereon after this decree, this shall serve as the legal document affirming this coming regency. Under the guidance of God, with the approval of the Emperor, and for the betterment of Lorraine, may this regency see nothing but success and the maintenance of the high standard which has historically been set by his predecessors. Signed, Archduke of Lorraine, Lothar d’Amaury Regent of Lorraine, Jacques d’Amaury

I don't think it's as simple as rolling things back when it's on the forums. Once something is deleted (as opposed to hidden which is what staff normally do), it's typically gone for good in my experience.

If any  back up is avail from Tythus, it would be very good to get it for the human history and dwarven history posts considering they were a work that was restricted largely to the forums

Telanir editted his announcement thread to say they're working on restoring threads. I had my doubts based on past incidents, but fingers crossed.

  8. so is staff able to restore the countless posts pertaining to Oren that were removed or are we actually fucked because they couldn't keep it together?

No idea of the situation (nor who you are), but I was raised in the RCC/am fairly learned in church history and the liturgical praxis of both orthodoxy and rome. I have no idea why anyone would have an issue with Orenian 'canonism' as I've always known it. It bears literally no doctrinal resemblance to the Catholic or Orthodox faith(s) beside ecclesiastical structure.

New atheism is always kek worthy anyway.

If I had a nickle for every person that believed in 'freedom of religion' on the server while simultaneously persecuting anyone related to the Church out of some OOC beliefs, I would have enough money to buy this server a dev team that would finish the magic plugin

but also on a slight tangent I saw this clip a while ago and I think it's really easy to see why a lot of atheists are so militant when they have **** like this happen to them

"attacking", I'm sorry if I've somehow hurt your e-feels fam, but that wasn't my intention as I just want to have the lore piece be made as good as possible to avoid being denied. To clear it up for anyone else reading, I didn't mean vague in the sense that the descriptions are confusing/incomplete as to explaining the basics of the ability, but in the sense that they don't go over their limitations/red lines. This is in regards to the more combative abilities (such as the holy fire/driving away undead) along with healing.

  23. With the exodus to Axios, an opportunity for the Church of Canon to reform is recognized and expressed in a thesis that would begin to circulate around Tahn, and more limitedly to the other isles, reading as follows: Depiction of a monk scrutinizing the conduct of a Deacon in front of his peers, c. 1498 Restoring Reverence For centuries, our Church has maintained a very active and real role in the everyday lives of Orenians and the laity abroad. Like the Creator himself, we were ever present, as all functions that were not handled by us exclusively were done under our guidance. But this is hardly the case anymore. Rifts grow between the clergy and the people on many fronts, as apathy takes root in our failure to engage ourselves more fully. Mass itself have become a boring, not oft occurrence that most men and women struggle not to sleep through. Most only perk up upon hearing ‘amen’, echoing the word without knowing even what we are thankful for. It is not as though our work is less valuable by any means, but with hymns in a language hardly spoken even within the Church dominating mass, it is not very surprising that interactions with our clergy are largely surrounding marriage and funeral rites. These issues I see as easily repairable though, through modest reform. First and foremost, the use of mass needs to cease to be a slow and formal chore that the laity and gentiles alike must commit to out of respect for GOD. With so much to observe and reflect on in the world, it is important that our respect for our history and tradition does not come to mar our understanding of the times. By calling forth the people to a sermon, an opportunity to teach people how to apply their knowledge arises. This could easily see whole series of orations that effectively address issues if the day, whilst constantly looking onto the Faith for guidance. By touching on relevant issues and topics, we may give better examples of how our faith can, and should be exercised in the daily lives of the faithful, while also providing good insight on these topics. Another way we can engage the community is through debates, and letting them give us insight on to our own thought and direction. By making a man stand by their thesis in open debate, they will either only spread their idea among a crowd and reinforce their point, or be forced to concede a dismissal of their notion. This will also do much to engage the sceptics, agnostics, or pagans that live about our lands, with stimulating commentary that could see all come to contribute to the ongoing dialogue of innovation and development of our Church. Lastly though, we should find ourselves offering services that would be of interest to many despite their skepticism of Canon. In Port Vydra, there had been scroll readings, and abroad, many would approach the church to learn letters and history. With even a theater available for use, we could employ many new means to spread His word. By encouraging our clergy to involve themselves more personally in the lives of the people, it is my honest belief that we would see the Church’s reverence restored to the great heights it once achieved, while providing tangible improvements to the communities we serve. With high hopes and in good faith, Idas of Plevne
