  1. Long live the Rebellion.  GG Oren

  2. My thoughts on the WC:

I find your lack of ping disturbing.jpg

  3. Bruce Vesperi would read the bulletin. "Rest in peace, Corporal Ianric," he'd say and go about his day.
  4. I appreciate the cancer awareness movement on this server.  Every other post I see reminds me of our common foe.  That dragon cancer.

  5. The simple point being: GMs are not consistent with the rules. And Arteh is a typical region sniper. Solution: GMs be consistent with the rules or fix broken systems. Arteh gets banned for breaking server rules. Simple.
  6. Far be it from the gms to actually be non-partisan. Admin team just needs to do something right for a change. Can anyone remember the last time the admin team made a needed change that actually fixed the problem and didn't make it worse? So only one perspective is right? Isn't your statement here very biased? I'm seeing a double standard. As long as people agree with you, they are fine. But if someone disagrees, they are biased?
  7. Bruce Vesperi reads through the ancient dwarven volumes. "I like this Eadune guy. He really represents. Too bad there was a coup and ole' Skippy Irongut got assassinated. Really a shame. Those were good times." He'd set aside the book, take a long sip of ale, and chuckle to himself, knowing that Eadune was healthy and very much alive.
  8. Bruce Vesperi would leaf through a dusty volume at a library.  He'd find a page that looks interesting and read this:

A wood elven scribe recall his people contributing a rather sizable force to the war effort. He dips his quill in ink and writes:

"How the Fennic tribes believe they managed to gather a force of 60,000 when they could barely fit 600 in that box they called a fort is beyond me. Of that 600, most seemed to be orcs, dwarves and the undead. However, the fennic tribes are right about one thing, a good chunk of their population survived. I surmise this is because they ran, and let these mercenaries of other races fight for them.

On the Imperial front, while the Empire certainly has the potential to call 100,000 banners to war, in truth, they only sent around 1000. The Dominion Elves did not make up a majority of this force (as a snow elf propagandist would have you believe about his people), however, we contributed roundabouts 3/10ths of the army.

Beware of revisionist history, good Elves of Malin and Men of Horen, for the Fenn Tundrak would have future generations believe he died in a heroic last stand with a massive army by his side. Those who fought will know the truth: The Empire sent a token force and met a resistance of assorted rebels. This was not a heroic battle for the history books, this was clean up duty.

Above all, good citizens of Dominion and Empire- avoid the fate that has befallen me. Turn your nose up and avert your gazes, do not read too deep into the words of the Fenn, whose delusions of glory and power despite his constant destruction at the hands of his betters are what makes him a target in the first place. Do not indulge in the asinine nature of his words.

Because, like the thahnium ridden wasteland we drove them out of..."

Bruce would shrug at the abrupt ending of the account.  "Twas an interesting tale, but very inaccurate.  I was there and I don't remember any wood elves.  Lots of angry snow elves and one flying dwarf.  Good times."  He would set the book back on the shelf and instead read Orcs and Hard Times.

Bruce Vesperi would pick up a dusty book and leaf through it.  "Huh.  This scribe got his facts all wrong.  Who even reads this anyway?"  Bruce would tear out a leaf and make a paper airplane.

  11. Bruce Vesperi hears the news and chuckles. "No surprises here. The chameleon shows it's true colors."
  12. Can we all agree that Oren is triggered? Also, moving WC around to save your skin is silly.
  13. I hope you end up where Hitler is now. In game of course
  14. Lol. Joined mid-battle? It's called you counter-attacked the orcs. It's in the rules to allow defenders to call allies. I really don't know what you orenians are going on about. You're just butt-hurt that you got wasted.
  15. As war drew nigh, the remnant of the Dreadlands banded together with the Warhawkes in a last defense against the Orenian Imperial Army. Casting aside their previous vestiges as bandits and assassins, they became soldiers, grim and fierce. Blacksmiths forged armor and weapons, commanders rallied their forces, and citizens laid down their plows and took up their swords. The defenders took on a new name, the Last Alliance, a coalition of men and elves. Their single goal: to drive Orenians from their lands and restore peace and prosperity in the Dreadlands and all Axios. Sir Ethan Silversteed leaned on his spear, waiting for the night. Beside him his lieutenant Bruce Vesperi stood silent and grim. They had climbed to the top of a battlement overlooking the Dunamis courtyard. For weeks they had recruited new warriors and gathered them to their banner. Many Dreadlanders saw the impending Orenian invasion and fled, leaving their families and houses to burn. However, some of the Dreadlanders rallied and defied Oren, vowing they would fight to the death and not flee. Naysayers argued against the wisdom of fighting, claiming fleeing was the wisest approach. Despite animosity from former Dreadlanders and Orenians alike, Sir Ethan and his commanders ready their army. Sir Ethan and the leader of the Warhawkes met to discuss tactics and logistics. The fortress below Sir Ethan and Bruce bustled with activity, ringing with orders from officers and shouts of soldiers and whinnying of horses. The army was marshaling. The Last Alliance was going to war. Could their force of a thousand men withstand the fury of Oren? Sir Ethan did not know the answer, but he knew that every soldier in the courtyard below was willing to lay down his life for the cause. Sir Ethan mused, "Perhaps this shall be our last war, but if this is to end in flame, we and Oren shall burn together." He tightened his grip on his sword hilt and smiled, a keen light in his eyes. The big dog is coming. Better start running.
