yeah, skype and later discord made it so everyone knew everyone's business, so the idea of a conflict and warclaim happening completely w/o u realising is completely foreign to us now.
I kinda miss my early days on LOTC when I didn't have Skype and talked to people using forum messages instead. Everything felt a lot more mystical because I didn't know all of everything that was going on.
