why did you kill all the abos?

There are many reasons for this, though they can't be attributed to any singular aspect. Granted, the Australian colonists did not exterminate the entire aboriginal population, and there was no unified or organised campaign against them. It was down to individual efforts and small, unaffiliated groups who had such little regard for aboriginal life that they classed them on par with animals. The government's only involvement with said atrocities was that they did nothing about it, which obviously in this case is just as heinous. The only 'successful' (not to be attributed as a positive thing, mind) extermination of an aboriginal population occurred on the island of Tasmania. Ironically, the location of the only concerted effort to protect aboriginals from the colonists at the time (and vice-versa) was conducted. Despite this, the colonists still continuously killed enough of the aboriginal people that their populations withered away, or they died in exile on remote islands.
Also, they huffed the gasoline away.

I think for the good of the server, all elves are to live in one elven state for a solid long lasting community and actual politics. Next map, force it plz. Really and truly, I think there should only be five large cities. Hell yeah, screw dynamic RP. I just want some real serious activity. An island troubled with an awfully high level of taint, not even the druids can nick it. Five pillars that render an area safe. Five cities, Five places that will /always/ have RP all the damn time.
-
Yes, but now have 10 high elves, ten dark elves, and ten wood elves. Now have them all attacking one-another, all getting angry at one-another, and all getting pissy with one-another in L-OOC and you have a recipe for a disaster. I know this could happen, because it has happened. This isn't an environment that entices new players, or encourages good RP. Granted, our communities aren't generally idiots, rude, or looking for an OOC conflict. But if you smack flint and steel together you will eventually get fire.
I'm not claiming to have any solutions for the applicant slowdown or player retention. I'm a Socrates, not an Aristotle. I just know, from experience, that what you're proposing won't work, and will drive groups further apart.

@zaezae That may be true. But if a group in RP (and possibly OOC) are incapable of getting along, do you think it might be counter-productive to push them all together? That just seems like a mine for salt. Server compression just makes people want to spread out. That's been proven to occur each and every time we have smaller maps.

But we've tried that before. Even before the Kalenz-mandated 'unity'. It doesn't work. Too many people pulling in too many different directions, all with very different ideas of what is good and bad (OOC, too). Plus, the humans love themselves some empires, duchies and fiefs. One city would tick them off considerably. If you want elven unity, you're going to have to find a way for all the disparate Elven groups to simultaneously stop hating one-another, respect one-another's cultural views, and somehow not turn the hypothetical city into a warzone. Forcing people together will only make them want to break apart even more.
And also, don't put the plateau thing on all of us. Very few people in the community were in on that plan. It was one guy who performed the world-edit.

Humans can live up past the age of 100, and grow the most old around 150 before succumbing to their curse. -

idk who would run it, but there is this great island near Haelun'or which would be good for a sailing high elf/elf settlement. Really great for a settlement of sailor high elves near Haelun'or. Too bad idk who would be interested in running it. A Fi'Ceru like Haelun'or's second city in 2.0. I just hrrng... I wish there was someone out there who would want to make a group of high elves and maybe inhabit it with others I've found who like the idea. PM me if you think it might be cool? IDK.

It was just called "Ceru," Supremacy. And it was never a high elven settlement. It's leader was a wood elf. It was just 'considered' one by the high elves due to the varying exoduses and the majority high-elven population it had. It was later annexed by the Oren Empire and turned over to the White Rose.

Felsen gives me super awesome Alkhazaar nostalgia. I wish it was more populated.

Kha are now a race that can be applied as. So much for the bias meme.

I wrote a thing in Server Ideas. It does not appear on the Topics thing to the right. This will not do.

I have heard that you cannot apply to the server as a kha. Is this true?
