  1. The Lord Carrington clapped for the return of the prince and princess! “Ah! I remember child Lady Anastasia, she was always rather bright for a young one. I am glad she has returned home with the Prince.”
  2. The passed Baroness of Halcourt would glance down upon her daughter from the seven skies, resting in a chair comfortably beside her other daughter, Elisabeth Cecile Vanir. "Oooh, she has married to Haense, just as you did Elisabeth, and to a Duke no less! Though I do hope her tenure will last a bit longer..." She commented on Elisabeth's untimely death with a small laugh "She will be happy." Adalene stated firmly, sipping a cup of tea.

  5. "...Actually- I don't care where he went! I hope he is happy with his decision!" The pale figure would lament loudly, pacing back and forth "It is no matter. I won't think about it a second longer!" Elijah turned to face the person he'd been speaking to, though when he turned there would be no person. Instead it would be a tombstone, upon the front would be the hollow letters engraved to read Vespira Angelica Ruthern nee d'Emyth. The aging man lets out a soft sigh after the briefly loud words, his expression softening "Though... I do hope he is alright..." He pondered, perhaps frowning as he sat before the grave, bringing his knees up to his chest as he continued to speak. "Perhaps he is alright... Perhaps- Perhaps it will all be fine." Elijah turned somber as he spoke, then pausing for a moment, as if to listen for a response. "What do you mean?" He paused once more, looking over 'Vespira' "Hmm, perhaps you are right. Maybe he will be back, but what makes you so sure?" The seemingly confused man queried to the dirt "Hmm... it is... certainly something to think about." He listened once more, quickly he stood upward at that, dusting off his coat in an almost frustrated or offended manner "No- No I don't know what you're talking about... I don't want to hear it!" He covered his ears with a loud huff, hiss brows furrowing deeply "No I didn't! He left because of what happened- Not-" He stopped as if he was cut off "Perhaps that is why you are in the ground." He let out a forced, mocking laugh, though it quickly disappeared as he waved a hand dismissively, pacing away.

  8. “Oh..” Wilhelm remarked from his boat somewhere “At least it is not us this time!” He said with a faint snicker, tossing the paper into the ocean.
  9. “Farewell my dear Elisabeth.” She said to her daughter as she closed the door of the Halcourt Manor. She hadn’t spoken to her daughter in some time since her marriage and subsequent moving to Haense. Haense. It was a place she hadn’t thought of in such a long time. Adalene thought of Igor and her son she had left behind, Dimitri quite often despite her lack of visiting. She always figured she would have more time to visit them, that one day she might marry Igor even, she was simply awaiting the day she could. Her daughter had told her of the Lord Speakers passing during the visit, The Baroness would of course remain with a stoic look, concealing any emotion regarding her daughters words she mentioned merely in passing. As she shut that door, her daughter on the other side she would fall against the door, silent tears flooding her cheeks, sure to remain silent to keep from drawing her husbands attention. She hadn’t seen the man in years, not to mention her son. “Adalene?” her husband would call “Are you alright?” Olivier asked of her. The husband she didn’t want but she had learned to love, the husband who had helped her bring her dearest daughters into the world. “I’m fine I just… I missed Elisabeth is all.” She replied to the aging Baron. She recalled how during her last encounter with Igor she asked him to watch over her daughter in these foreign courts she would soon join. The Baroness couldn’t hold her tears, rushing up to her sole room to hide herself from further questions. She regretted it all, everything that happened with Igor, but didn’t wish it hadn’t happened, instead she would regret having not married the Lord Speaker in her youth, having not married the man who brought her the only son she would ever love, having declared the other three as disappointments long ago, she regretted not living a life of true love, and true friendship. It certainly meant more than any silly title. The only thing left for her in those moments was simply to sit and wait, wait for the day they will reunite in the afterlife.

  15. “Good to see you here on this day, brother. We shall begin quite simply. What is your name?” "I am Elijah Alexander d'Emyth." “How old are you?” "I am Twenty-Seven years of age." “This question is obvious, but it is for the sake of these records. What race of the descendants are you of?” "Human." “You are able to read and write, am I right?” "Yes- Quite well." “And with that, I hope you are familiar with the Holy Scrolls and Catechism of our Church?” "Yes, Somewhat." “You are of course baptized?” "Yes my mother found it rather important." “Good, good. Are you married? Do you have children?” "No and no." “In what way of the clergy do you wish to serve? As a Priest, or a Monastic?” "As a Priest." “This really depends on the needs of the Church, but in what Diocese would you prefer to serve in? You can simply name a city or Kingdom.” "Providence, though I am fine with anywhere really." “A rather personal question, why have you chosen to walk this path in God?” "I've decided I want to change my life, I've walked the wrong path too long." “And lastly, are you truly devoted to this way of life? Prepared to take any vows involved with ordination and commit oneself to this lifetime bond with the Lord Almighty?” "Yes, certainly." “Wonderful ! I think we are finished here, dear brother.” he says as he gestures you out of the room with a smirk, “This shall be brought to Bishop Alfred in no time. You shall hear word of your acceptance and placement soon enough.” he nods before saying finally, “God bless you.” as you walk out and say so in return.

  18. Tears cover the page as Elijah reads the slander about his dead sister, Vespira Ruthern nee d'Emyth. He arches a slight brow at the conspiracy...
  19. The Courier would have trouble tracking Elijah at first, finally running into him as he was running up one of the many roads, the Courier out of breath from their travels... Looking over the letter, he furrows his brows... Elijah was devastated. For the first time in many years, Elijah would be unable to hold back his tears. He barely manages to step off the road before falling to the ground, curling up in tears... He thinks back onto his times with Vespira, all their moments shared together, chatting over tea, sharing their thoughts with one another.. She was the closest to a parent that Elijah ever had really. With the death of their mother at such a young age and his father abandoning them not long after, Elijah was left with Vespira and Wallace.. With Wallace at boarding school, Elijah's friends all left.. and Vespira now gone.. Elijah.. Elijah was left with no one.. He could not name one person in this word who still cares.. His childhood friends all moved on to their adult lives while Elijah had remained stuck in the past. The young man would leave a trail of tears on his long trek home to Providence. Upon returning to his bedroom within the Augustine and packing his bags, deciding that he.. He was finished. He didn’t enjoy his life anymore, and was tired of being left behind. Elijah packs what few things he can carry on his person, and heads off back onto the roads, prepared to not see Providence for some time.. The days pass and Elijah's tears begin to dry. There was only one thing that could have hurt Elijah anymore and it has happened. He was no longer the person he once was... Elijah was empty... A husk of a something that once was.
