  1. ****... you know us too well
  2. would you sacrifice icarus for a parion II?
  3. can you confirm parion as being the supreme high elf?
  4. [!] Across the city, a late notice appears to be copied and posted throughout. It is written in a cursive yet uncoordinated font - sharp and wriggly. The Citizenry Check of 1602 Keeping track of dates was never my strong suit... This bi-annual citizenry check has been carried out to monitor the activity of all presences within elcihi. Typically, seven entire Elven days would be granted but due to the recent housing crisis and loss of Haelun’or’s Okarir’mali, this was reduced to three days; for a more rapid collection of data for my spreadsheets. As a result, we have had a total of fifteen evictions. These houses are noted below: Since the severity of my check has surpassed former standards, the repossession of both belongings and properties can be made at any point during the next year without significant consequence; although, houses were emptied. Deposit boxes have been arranged, storing the items that are harder to obtain, have worth or are unique in nature. Items with a minimal value or supplies that may bear use as a constituent, for future cihi renovations or expansions, have been claimed by the state. If, at any point, you require materials for a project, inquire with any member of elheial'thilln. In the near future, fines may be applied to repossessions, but for now returns will be granted if you prove your worth to the nation. If you wish to have your home or possessions returned, please speak with Nelgauth Maehr’tehral – or the Sohaer, who will forward you to Nelgauth Maehr’tehral. Ahern ito nae'leh, for your patience. [!] Printed at the letters base is the following: I am not affiliated with elheial'thilln. If you have a problem with my methods, complain to my secretary.
  5. Due to developments in real life with job opportunities, voluntary work, education for next September, and my sudden decline of interest in the server as a result; I feel it may be best for me to have my staff applications self-denied. This was all somewhat abrupt and I hadn't expected to switch off to everything like I have but functioning during real GMT hours, morning till evening, in working environments, has sort of given me the satisfaction and purpose I had been trying to find in the server. I love you all, but peace.

  9. That was a mistake on my part, I really did not know if you were being serious or not at first. Having re-read the problematic comment, I can see how it could have been easy to misconstrue. It had honestly only included since I had been aware of my 2700 word count and was, naturally, taking a friendly dig at those who would understandably respond like so, either silently or through comment: It had not been included to be self-deprecating or defeatist, in the slightest. I mean, I am rather confident with the contents of my application. But, like I had said originally, it was easy to misconstrue and I am happy enough to admit to that. In fact, I actually point this out in my application that I have a tendency to word things in a fashion that leaves them open to misinterpretation, then again, happy enough to resolve that. For the sake of just putting it to rest, I will remove what was initially said from the application.
  10. You know what, this is a fair deal.
  11. That's an illegal disposition, sir. I will try hard to evade the palms of [redacted]. That's fortunate. You might have seen what I wrote about you. You digested 2700 words of mine and I congratulate you for that. owo ; -; miss you Jandy, sweet prince Times change, Rebecca. hexe please - too many +1 <3 Oh damn. I think I have been decoded.
  12. I would say surprise but we all knew it was coming.
  13. Parion’s Trial GM Application Minecraft name/s: (List the username of your main, and any alternate accounts) Haelunor | SupremeMalithill | TrevenaP Age: (Your age in whole years. Must be at least 14.) Eighteen years old. Nineteen in a month – can that count for something? Timezone: (State your Timezone. Ex: GMT-6) GMT: Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London. Skype/Discord: (Both are required) Skype: hunterhenham Discord: LadyParion#1217 What is your availability?: (Tell us how many hours you can spend on the server daily, and between what times.) Roughly: 5:00PM – 5:00AM OR 5:00AM – 5:00PM Typically, I spend at least six to eight hours on the server daily and it is not uncommon for me to clock up at least forty-eight hours’ worth of play time by the end of the week. My activity online varies but naturally synchronises with the server’s peak times. In the past, when it has been necessary, I have commonly dedicated ten hours or more to the community per day. Tell us an issue you currently experience on the server: (If you’re experiencing problems on the server at this current time, please state what they are.) Currently, upon the server, I feel as though there has been a huge decline in meaningful roleplay. I am witnessing far more individuals admitting to finding it hard to keep themselves occupied and are having trouble encountering scenarios they feel capable of contributing to. Of course, this does not apply to all, but I think plenty of players would agree with my observation. In my opinion, I imagine a great deal of this common inertia lies in the decline of “creative members”; those who are capable of upholding notable positions in-character and producing: topics in roleplay, variable dynamics and groups with long term pursuits for others within the community – simply staple products that keep the playerbases engaged. Instead, having heaps of players that have difficulty producing their own roleplay autonomously, undoubtedly begins to damage the community. Obviously, it gradually reduces the reasons for older players to log on and causes mass AFKing in many cities. Eventually this lack of ingenuity is generating static environments that are rather unappealing to players who have only just joined the server. Often, attempts at retaining an audience is absolutely ineffective beyond basic hospitality. While I believe in natural roleplay and recognise that the ET and LT/MT must be collaborating, to aid with (as I have heard from many players) the immense decrease in significant activities and ongoing event lines, for Axios – these efforts have been noted with a great deal of appreciation, @Sky's small and fun event in Haelun’or being one example – I believe there are plenty of variable and formerly untested methods (I have had a few ideas myself) in which players can start being guided actively and reliably, to refresh the community’s (perhaps dormant) inspiration. How do you feel individual GMs should present themselves?: (In your personal opinion, how should GMs communicate with the Playerbase, how should they act?) Personally, I deem adaptability to be an imperative trait; one that is key, for any member of the community when acting as a Game Moderator. This is a relevant statement since, as a GM, your presentation should be adjusted to accommodate for the circumstances at hand, rather than having one consistent setting. Full integration within the community, on a mutual level, is incredibly important and should be supported; both to ensure players still feel as though a GM can be approached casually, and also so that the individual GM can remain grounded – to put it lightly. However, your eminence of authority needs to be identified and implemented when necessary; not only for the predictable, but also so that you can be discerned as a beacon of aid (how flowery?) and a source of guidance for those who require it. What has been refreshing, is observing the GMs exhibiting far less detachment from the community and not being limited to a constant ‘duty-mode’, per se. Regardless, taking on the responsibility of GM should come with the obligation to uphold a mature mindset, respect the position and to act in accordance with the server rules. You are in a somewhat distinguished role and negative behaviour is naturally disconcerting for players; conveying the notion of one being I suppose, quote-on-quote, ‘above the law’. Something that has existed with plenty of staff, in the past, from what I have understood. It is all about achieving an equilibrium as best you can, to balance your professionality as a GM and ordinariness as a player – both for the community and yourself – and keeping this detectible. How do you feel the GM team collectively should present itself?: (In your personal opinion, how should the GM Team be led? How should the Team operate?) Honestly, in my opinion, the entire team should present itself as a collective, actively working together to facilitate with the conservation of a good team image; and further still, a good server image. While the GM team should feel as though it is a dependable, accessible and approachable group; those within should also be able to detectably exist as players who are present to enjoy the server as much as any other member of the community. Again, like I have noted previously, presenting a team that detectably accommodates for many adaptable individuals who can balance their professionalism and their ordinariness would be a very appealing; and would produce a team that would feel both approachable and reliable. Please list three players who will vouch for you: (Ensure you contact these people first and let them know you are putting them down. We will then contact these people to get a feel for how you are as a person.) My Canadian Idol, Cablam No Bully, MagicPastry | PaceTree The Elven Peace Dancer, Sidmmvv What is your relationship with the members of the current GM Team?: (Do you particularly work well with specific members of the current team? Have you had disagreements or disputes with certain members in the past, how do you believe this will affect your role:?) I might have triggered Rebecca here and there and I fight Cablam on the daily; but, with enough whining, we have simmered down such sessions. In all seriousness, I have only ever had positive interactions with the current members of the team, both those existing as full GMs and as trials. I am already well-acquainted with, what I would deem, the majority and I believe this will simply enhance my ability to work alongside them comfortably and openly; not that I wouldn’t be able to achieve this with those I am not so familiar with as well. What are you finest and worst traits?: (Shoot for two or three of each. This part is to have you analyse yourself.) Thorough: With everything I do – from writing creatively, to non-fiction, or even just engaging in basic roleplay – I always wish to deliver the finest outcome. To do so, I will methodically design my written work so that it suits my expectations in terms of substance, quality, coherency and fluidity. I will often give nods to some of the most needless details, just for the sake of presentation or to satisfy my own requirements as a reader. While I often produce a high standard of work, I know it has its pitfalls; especially in terms of how my phrasing may be too elaborate or confusing for those besides myself. All the same, I still put a great deal of effort into ensuring my communication is orderly, descriptive and explanatory. I feel as though this is hugely beneficial for anyone wishing to take a position as a Game Moderator. Patient: Continuing from my previous point, I have great deals patience; an attribute that has been persistently useful since I go to such meticulous lengths with a lot of my content. Furthermore, being patient has nurtured my capacity to remain calm in the face of potentially trying, frustrating or, plainly, repetitive tasks and scenarios; while also boosting my readiness to be cooperative with both members of staff and players alike. Having a high level of tolerance, I naturally go above and beyond with work, enduring delays and spending additional time with individuals when required. It is rare for demanding circumstances to result in myself getting tremendously irked – apart from the intermittent grumbling – as long as communication is active and progressive. Dedicated: As an individual entity, I am hugely devoted to the playerbase, continuously looking to devise new ways in which I can assist members of the community individually and in units; both via contribution to teams and as a player. Besides the mere enjoyment sourced from upholding a purpose, in the past, reflecting upon the time and effort I have committed to certain objectives only amplifies my wish to exert myself further and surpass prior performances. All in the name of improving the server. Procrastination: Whether intentional or otherwise, I know I am burdened with an active mind that is constantly seeking out variation and change. This results in a habit where I frequently switch between several jobs at once rather than sticking to one, just to keep myself engaged. This occasionally results in certain assignments being neglected or avoided as I find myself growing more attentive towards some tasks and dismissive towards others. At the end of the day, everything will be completed, but my stalling can often result in completion taking far longer than anticipated. I am keenly attempting to improve this habit with external guidance. Most of my methods have worked by alleviating my anxiety when I get side-tracked and leave a piece of work for too long. This application was an example of something I struggled with, but look here, it is completed. Forgetful: Elaboration isn’t really necessary, I simply have a tragic memory and will often forget to do a lot of stuff if I do not remind myself regularly. While I do have legitimate complications with my memory, with frequent prods and a developing habit of producing lists, I have managed to improve the quality of my performance both with my pixel responsibilities and with my routinely chores IRL. Tell us about your time on Lord of the Craft: (This is the most detailed part of the application. We want to know what your progress has been on the server. Have you been on any staff teams? Where have you predominantly played? What aspects are the most memorable to you, and why?) I was encouraged to join the server back in 2015 by Mordew, during October, with the High Elves while we still resided between the Citadel and Fi’ceru. Honestly, my introduction to the community was significantly negative, in my opinion. Progress upon the server turned out sluggish and the community I had been introduced to felt incredibly abrasive towards new players unless they had an attitude to them or were naturally persistent. In addition to this, I found acquiring even basic guidance to be hard: utilising the commands, navigating the map and plenty of other quandaries left me baffled. Naturally, this simply resulted in myself choosing to shy away from The Lord of the Craft before the coming December. Nevertheless, for reasons unknown, I tried out the server again at the beginning of 2016 and was drawn back with more success. It was actually the mechanics of LotC’s Nexus Alchemy that got me hooked – somewhat embarrassing to admit – and I simply played around with it till the beginning of the Summer Holidays. From that point onwards, I worked upon improving my confidence, mainly with guidance from @DahStalker, @Gusano Arentonio, @Jordan1921 and the Warhawkes. By all means, think what you please, but I truly think I would have fully given up in the end if it had not been for their persistent company and their willingness to egg me onto their TS. I was finally capable of applying a great deal of my newfound confidence to my roleplay, and started actively enjoying the High Elven roleplay in late-Vailor. It was also at this point that I decided that I wanted to dabble with the IC politics, to improve the way in which we received new players. Despite the faults of my introduction to the server, I believe it was reflecting upon the experience that eventually acted as my incentive to finally join a team. At the time I felt as though I still required an entry point and since my own welcome to The Lord of the Craft had felt so unpleasant, I wished to join those working directly with the newest players and consequentially applied for the Application Team. I worked consistently upon the AT for several months, always surpassing my quota and performing to the best of my abilities and with as many players as I could. Equally, I kept myself tied in with the High Elven politics, acting as the Nation Leader twice and providing plenty of aid between my in-character tenures. It was not until this February when I really felt as though the lack of changeability upon my team and the stagnant nature of my persona was hindering my potential. Understandably, this was impeding my ability to deliver to both my playerbase and the community as a whole. Inevitably, I deemed it best to part from my team and consent to the PK of my character, opening up the path for a short breather for brainstorming before I proceeded with my plans; starting with applying myself to the positions I believe, after a great deal of consideration, I could contribute best to. What parts of the server are you most interested in?: (What is it about Lord of the Craft that compels you? Is it the Lore of the server, the development and plugins?) I have always been hugely interested by the way in which we can promote harmonisation between playergroups and the staff teams to benefit not only individual players, but to enhance the climate of the server as a whole. Additionally, although taxing at times, the leadership of groups as a player has been something I have enjoyed; both as a Nation Leader, and now as a coordinator for a smaller group of RPers focusing on concentrated pursuits. The activity you can promote via your participation as a leading member can be really rewarding and fun experience. While secondary, the depth of the existing and developing lore does, and always will, keep me fascinated; it is incredibly satisfying identifying the newest submissions and seeking out the opportunities to contribute to the lore yourself. Other than yourself, who of the current applicants would you like to see on the GM Team?: (Who, out of the current applicants, do you feel would make a good GM?) Two of the individuals that I had originally listed on here were already taken on as trials before I was set upon posting my application, so forgive me for the quick substitutions. Vegetarianism: During my time being mixed up in the Coalition, I had the opportunity to talk with Vege. He was always the individual I remember as having advocated for a level-headed perspective between groups and always gave out the impression that he was trying to keep as many of the playerbases in mind, and prioritise mutual survival for the sake of the server as a whole. Hexe: Honestly, would be interested to see how he could do. Very chill and rational guy that is always very pleasant to talk with. He seems to have the right intentions at mind, even with the interesting approach taken for his application. Link me a good song: (Don’t cheap out on me.)
