  1. MC Name: RIParion, Haelunor and CarbsAreBad Skype Name: live:hunterguratsky Timezone: Great British GMT Age: 19 Do you have Discord? (you need to): Yes. Do you feel that you have a solid grasp on our lore and an understanding of the application standards?: I do and believe I demonstrated this during my previous term with the Application Team. Why do you want to be an AT member and do you have the ability to work and collaborate with others?: Previously, I quit due to pressures outside of LotC but genuinely enjoyed my position on the team. Introducing new players to the server and identifying new ways in which we could improve the system was always a rewarding process; and one I would like to contribute to once again. With the AT, I frequently communicated with those proposing new member-lead (rather than manager-lead) projects to discover ways in which I could help with the development and operation. I recall working well with most of the AT, only encountering one or two occasions where my opinions may have resulted in disagreements. Beyond reviewing whitelist applications, what ways do you think you would enjoy helping new applicants?: Speaking with new players through the forums and in-game for beginners help. Locating them for introductory RP, especially if they are playing a race I am familiar with; to practice commands, conversation and to guide them towards settlements/players that would help them mingle further. Trying to maintain a long-term chattiness with some players to keep them engaged and with someone they feel they can turn to. Working on improving guides further, for all levels of RPers, regardless of experience. Bringing new ideas to the table addressing activity retention, that may aid not only the newest but oldest players as well, and encouraging collaboration with other teams so we can collectively develop ways in which each team can help new players engage with the community. How do you think the server’s application process could be improved?: Personally, the application itself is pretty solid and does not have any major faults. I simply suggest that the AT moderators are asked to guarantee a reasonable amount of time to individual players (pre and post application, if requested), to thoroughly solidify their confidence before they enter the server. This may also be post-application but I also believe we are still neglecting first impressions - memorable impressions for new community additions. With quiet settlements, an initially complex map and lots of strangers; there is a huge call for us to consider what we can put in place to welcome new players and make them want to stay, unarguably, from their first visit. We potentially lose out on incredible roleplayers simply because entering the server, after a demanding application process, results in an expectation. When this is not met, new players have described the server as anti-climatic. Something I heard more than once when catching up with players (and ex-players) I had accepted as an AT. It is easy to understand why some are eventually driven to look elsewhere, for servers with stabler niches or immediate entertainment. No matter which team leads the improvements, I still believe the AT should be contributing to progress. Is there anything else you would like to add or that we should know about you?: As an ex-AT member I already have adequate experience and could easily return to the role. In addition to that point, previous problems that were affecting my ability to perform have improved since my requested leave from the team. Tell me a joke: The state of my post to rep ratio if I am accepted. Were you expecting to hear something original? Priaon ™
  2. Is there any progress with a new map and if so is there an estimated release date? Would you consider stricter settlement caps on another map? To avoid the dilution of activity? Has there been any development concerning a more global plot within Axios or is this likely something to be reserved until another map is released? Are the ET and the combined LT/MT working to revamp the way in which events are used to engage the community? Has player retention yet been improved? Has the AT managed to implement the buddying system, of sorts, in a functional fashion? What projects have been completed by the managers recently? Why do I only ever hear people complaining about the staff teams despite all the mass purges? Am I being pounded with biased voices or are things still not at a satisfactory standard? Where is all the RP these days? Like, seriously, where are you all? I can never find anyone and no one will help. Please. I've only been gone two months. Much Love, From Praoin
  3. he couped me and got banned for it but he does stuff well +1
  4. clearly a qualified man
  5. Finally, you are joining the land of free men! I commend your bravery.
  6. By all means, give this a shot, but think it over. Try to experience the server for what it is and don’t press yourself to return to staff positions unless you are desperate to. If you believe you may repeat cycles that have left you underperforming and not hitting quota in the past, walk away until you know your circumstances can guarantee a consistent performance. And you did underperform constantly, over several months; not only in October, but also in November and January - mind me saying that, in December, you only just managed to hit your quota. Whether that had been down to lack of enjoyment (at the time) or just being busier with the real world, you are better off focusing your energy on what you truly enjoy and what is going to benefit you in the long run. My stance is neutral because I know you are lovely and could do an excellent job, but reapplying may be a tad premature reflecting on your performance prior to your leave from the team. I just wouldn't want you to return to the team to be swiftly removed again because you are not ready for it. Nevertheless, I wish you the best of luck; I only wish to see you have fun and not find yourself stressed or tired out by Application Moderation again. You know you best.

There is an FM on my profile. I feel targeted.

  8. Due to developments in real life with job opportunities, voluntary work, education for next September, and my sudden decline of interest in the server as a result; I feel it may be best for me to have my staff applications self-denied. This was all somewhat abrupt and I hadn't expected to switch off to everything like I have but functioning during real GMT hours, morning till evening, in working environments, has sort of given me the satisfaction and purpose I had been trying to find in the server. I love you all, but peace.

  12. That was a mistake on my part, I really did not know if you were being serious or not at first. Having re-read the problematic comment, I can see how it could have been easy to misconstrue. It had honestly only included since I had been aware of my 2700 word count and was, naturally, taking a friendly dig at those who would understandably respond like so, either silently or through comment: It had not been included to be self-deprecating or defeatist, in the slightest. I mean, I am rather confident with the contents of my application. But, like I had said originally, it was easy to misconstrue and I am happy enough to admit to that. In fact, I actually point this out in my application that I have a tendency to word things in a fashion that leaves them open to misinterpretation, then again, happy enough to resolve that. For the sake of just putting it to rest, I will remove what was initially said from the application.
  13. You know what, this is a fair deal.
  14. That's an illegal disposition, sir. I will try hard to evade the palms of [redacted]. That's fortunate. You might have seen what I wrote about you. You digested 2700 words of mine and I congratulate you for that. owo ; -; miss you Jandy, sweet prince Times change, Rebecca. hexe please - too many +1 <3 Oh damn. I think I have been decoded.
  15. I would say surprise but we all knew it was coming.
