Me like many others wish there was change to things like this sooner both oocly and icly, but we gotta remember that change comes slowly. Now, have I been guilty of getting frustrated and letting my frustrations and anger getting to me and taking it out on others like you have because the change is not coming as quickly as I would like for it to have come? 100% YES, have I apologized for that? Yes. Now, it's a bit hard to change people's irl views, but most people will be respectful about you being LGBT + or transgender. Now there are those who don't agree with it due to religion and culture, but even most of them will keep that to themselves and still allow you to live your life. Should you interact with them and make them your friends? Probably not, unless you can handle knowing your friends sees being your true self is a sin and you can't do much to change that. As for those that harasses or bullies you just because you talk about your experience as a LGBT+ or transgender person, they do deserve to get banned. There was a player that got banned a year ago or something because they said lesbian slurs to me on the server out of the blue (had no clue who they were). But I screenshotted it and reported it, guess what happened? They got banned. Do they all get banned? Probably not if most of the proof is from a vc and it was not recorded. But most staff does try, are they all perfect, no of course not. But we gotta remember that not all proof is enough, as some is very lacking. Now as for irp, are there those that roleplays certain way irp because of their irl views. Yes. Do they all do that, no. Now if you want to change how a culture or religion on lotc works, it will take time. Look at the women's rights, that has taken a long time. Should it have taken that long? Probably not, but that is not the point. If you want change irp, do it slow. And make it make sense, you can't just post one post on "This is this and that, therefore you should allow this and that". I think the reason people are more focused on the OOC plotting is because so many Human NL have done it before and not gotten banned for it. So I prayed to God, and then he sent me a vision. A vision of the Golden Fruit I had found with a hot spring flowing on the side of its mountain hill during one of my hikes for herbs alongside my friend, Mariya. And so I began my ride to the tree, coughing and shivering with a fever. After arriving I hopped off the horse, reached for one of the fruits and uttered a prayer to God. And then… I ate the fruit which was quite sweet, made camp afterwards and went to sleep in the tent. The next day I was healed, no fever, no cough, no soreness. It was a miracle! To this day I am certain of the golden fruit having been blessed by Godani himself, and if no other treatment works and no prayers to God heals you. Travel to the Frozen Waste and find the Golden Fruit, utter a prayer and eat it. Make camp by the tree and sleep the night and you shall be healed! If not, you have not repented for your sins in the eyes of God. And so after keeping this a secret for so long, I have decided upon hearing the news of this new brain rot illness that it should be shared with the world.
