are we just gonna pretend that claiming someone's an "undead" after they didn't PK isn't just an excuse to use methods of RP to OOCly badger players

@Sorcerioย there shouldn't be any consequences for not PKing if you don't want to, tbh. Monks exist so you can end your character on a suitable note, not just to prevent you from PKing after every bandit encounter.

Before, not only could you declare someone undead, you could just call KOS on them - bandit repeatedly coming to a city, disliked politician recently assassinated, it's a valid way to expulse them or spread doubt.ย
I've always been on RP servers under the "PK on first and only death" clause, throughout the years. While I don't believe LOTC could function under that system in any circumstance, death is not something consequenceless- and it shouldn't be treated so. That is of course,ย if, one particular group does choose to apply this cause.ย
You can just ignore it.ย
In any case, if it proves too much of an issue, the rule can take on a new verdict. But that is if and when those times come - same for all other death & revival, along with lore rules. Set in stone, but if its proving more harm than good- than pride needs swallowed and it'll be changed. Playerbase does matter the most, and ST & Administration believe this is the route to go, alongside entrustment by Moderation. If we're wrong - upon our full fault and it will be changed accordingly. I understand the concern, and respect your opinion, we'll just see how things play out. I'm optimistic, and hope for the best. - Show next comments 6 more
