Crisis of faith and possible methods of dealing with it A crisis of faith is a very common phenomenon among believers, and especially among acolytes (novices). This crisis most often occurs in believers after five years of being in the Church. After the studies and uplift of the first years of the church, a period of doubt, fatigue, and even disappointment in faith suddenly sets in, in a word, cooling off. Why does this crisis arise and how does one dealwith it? Once upon a time, God attracted us to the Church by His grace, and we came to be carried by His love. And in the early years, we stayed in the bosom of the Church like a child being raised by a mother: few demands, a bountiful help, a minimum of responsibility. The Lord covered our infirmities with grace. But when the time comes to grow up – to be crucified by the world, to live spiritually, to struggle with sins – most do not want this. And then there are two temptations. The first is the process by which believers adapt to the conditions of the world, moving away from the norms of Canonist’s and church life . After all, what is the deepest thing about Canonism? Austerity. Of course, we only need the rudiments of self-discipline and self-control, but this is often scary. Then there should be a renunciation of the worldly life, an attempt to make oneself more comfortable in Canonism: fasting turns into non-eating of dairy and meat, prayer becomes proofreading instead of standing before God. And we lose the fullness of life in the Church, everything happens mechanically, and in moments of sorrow it disappears altogether. The most extreme degree of descent into secularization is the rejection of the Сhurch life: he touched the faith and departed. The second temptation is no less dangerous and no less widespread – floating in the clouds of illusory spirituality. You have met such people: rosaries to the floor, skirts to the toes, incessant "God save us!" but not with their passions and lusts. And often it is a game of righteous in the world, an escape from real life, from one's neighbors, from the cares that the Lord has given as salvation; it is an aversion to the fate prepared by the Lord, where one learns patience and self-denial; it is an escape into an imaginary reality. But the paradox is that if it weren't for tribulations, trials, and illnesses, the vast majority would be completely outside of God, turning one way or the other. It is sorrows that are sobering and instantly teach sincere prayer, self-vision, patience, and repentance… Remember the first time you were introduced to the Church: you were given the joy of prayer, a sense of God, and a certain freedom from passions – and we felt all the joy and sweetness of being with the LORD. Yet, do not take this for granted; you must fight for this blissful condition. And get the result after a long time. This period of temporary dryness, callousness of the soul can be prolonged. If you don't want to pray, it means that everything is not as you think. Morning and evening prayers are an invaluable gift from God, and the feelings that the great saints experienced can also become our feelings. And in most cases, these prayers are absolutely necessary for us.: they foster in us a behaviour of standing up and talking to God. But if a person is sick or depressed, or unable to pray long prayers, then you can look for words of prayer that would give you a sense of connection with God as with life itself.After all, it is very important to pray and strive for life, no matter how sick you are. There must be a feeling of fullness in spiritual life, so that the heart feels communion with God, His, guidance. One of the strongest ways to achieve communion with GODAN and the Church, is through the Liturgy and Sacraments. Further, if you have comforted someone, there is a feeling of satisfaction and you want to pray, you are filled with inner light, silence, calmness, and simple joy - this means that you are doing everything right. She had wished to spend her old age as the Abbess to the monastery in Lemon Hill and sought to teach acolytes church affairs, but with regret, she became the victim of a foul deal with a creature of the void, doing so to protect the innocent of Lemon Hill. She refused to betray the ideals of the Church and did not fulfil the terms of her demonic deal, for which she was slain by the wicked creature, whilst on trial in the Holy See. Her remains were burnt upon a pyre and ashes cleansed before being returned to us, her loved kin, and so we shall miss her sorely. So were her years of devotedness, to kin and 𝕲𝖔𝖙𝖙, long, so shall our time of mourning be as strict.
