"maehr'sae hiylun'ehya; I had been waiting to see something just like this come to fruition. May it assist in the upholding of Purity within elcihi once more, and may the Silver State continue to shine brightly for eons to come-!" Smiled the 'san, reading the now-published missive, a careful sip from the edge of her glass. Calculating her own number of Purity Points, the elfess would be most pleased, a smug lift of a corner of her mouth. The pure Tillun'sae would take great pride in upholding her Civil-Merit score -!
-
Lleinde Tillun'sae peered over the missive with light-eyed smile, a certain glimmer. Stood upon the balcony of the Upper-District, the pale elfess offered her gaze all across the central Haelun'orian Square, an exhaled breath of simple content. She'd fold the parchment into a small rectangular wad, tucking it away within her robes for future reference. "To success; to the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya-!" the Okarir would comment with articulate voicing, her tone smooth and clear. "An order of great merit and motive - I profess a warmth in my heart at this."

-= Haelun’orian Model Delegates =- What is HMD? Haelun’orian Model Delegates [HMD] is a programme as part of the Haelun’orian Debate Society, aiming to help educate Mali’thill in global matters of delegation whilst remaining safely within the walls of elCihi. It provides good experience for future roles within or outside of Civil Service and possible Diplomacy, encouraging independent learning, public speaking skills, social skills and a general dedication towards intellectual activity. Participants in HMD conferences, known as delegates, are placed in committees and assigned countries to represent, or occasionally other organizations or political figures, where they represent members of that body. How does HMD work? HMD runs as a set of several non-compulsory preparatory activities leading up to a main Conference. These preparatory activities will help to develop knowledge, involving field trips and/or workshops to learn about the Delegates’ assigned Settlement, and that Settlements views upon the chosen topic of discussion. In terms of the actual Day, it runs as follows: Firstly, we hold an Opening Ceremony, where all Delegations are welcomed to the event. Delegates are asked to dress in the traditional wear of the Settlement they represent - tailored and altered to be formally appropriate, of course, should the source clothing not be. Delegates may introduce themselves to each other as their Settlement, getting familiar with who is representing who. Then, we are to head into our Debate. Five Delegates, selected by the Chairs at nominations from themselves, are to present their stance upon the matter to begin the discussion, with one brief inquiry offered to each at most. A Lobbying break is to be taken, wherein Delegates may discuss with each other, finding other Delegations of similar values and forming group resolutions to the topic; presenting their ideas to the Conference as to what should be done in regards to it. In example of this Conference’s topic, groups would present their own agreed upon decision of how Gate Policy and Passports might function between the Settlements within the group. A final lobbying will be held wherein, based upon the ideas heard, groups can be changed, before ‘Agreements’ will be written up and signed by the Delegates of the group who formed the ‘Agreement’. Finally, we conclude the ‘Debate’ - though, for this specific topic, there is a greater focus upon forming treaties and agreements. All are invited then to head to the Silver Tavern for an Awards Dinner, wherein Best Delegate titles shall be awarded by the Chairs (those who oversee the Conference). Over dinner, we would hope that the topic be discussed in a more general manner, through the perspective of each Mali’thill rather than the Settlement they have represented throughout the day. How do I join in? All Mali’thill, young and old, are welcome to join our Model Delegates conference. To join in, simply read forth and fill out the form at the bottom of this Missive, making sure you are able to attend the time of the Conference. Topic of Discussion --- The Topic of Discussion for this Model Conference is : Gate-Keeping Policy and the concept of Passports --- We would ask all Delegates to do some research into their Delegations’ stance on these issues, taking to reading in the Silver Library and even interviewing and discussing with real Delegates or Citizens themselves, to ensure they are fully prepared for the Conference. The List of Possible Delegations is as follows : > The Silver State of Haelun’or > The Principality of Ando Alur (Haelun’orian Vassal) > The Holy Orenian Empire > The Crown of Elvenesse > The Grand Kingdom of Urguan > The Rexdom of Krugmar > The Kingdom of Norland > The Kingdom of Haense > The Free Trade State of Sutica > The Jade State of Yong Ping > The Halfling Village of Bramblebury Schedule --- In 1 Elven Day [[Wednesday 11th]] : Begin Assigning Nations to Delegates - first come, first serve. In 2 Elven Days [[Thursday 12th]] : Model Delegates Field-Trip - visiting ally nations for learning experience. [[5pm EST// 10pm BST // 9pm GMT]] In 5 Elven Days [[Sunday 15th]] : Model Delegates Conference within the Silver Citadel. [[4pm EST // 9pm BST // 8pm GMT]] This Conference shall include an Opening Ceremony, wherein Delegates are asked to attend and make acquaintance with other Delegates, dressed in the traditional attire of the Nation-or-Settlement they are representing, the Main Debate - with Lobbying intervals in which like-minded Delegations might join together ideas - and finally, an Awards Dinner. Registering to Join --- In order to join as a Delegate in this Conference, we would ask that you are certain you will be able to make the main Conference date and time, and ideally able to attend the Field-Trip, though this is not mandatory. Return your applications beneath this missive and, if approved, you will be welcomed to our Delegations, soon receiving word of which Settlement you are to represent. - Application Format - [[IGN : ]] [[ Discord : ]] Name : Preferred Settlement to Represent (not guaranteed) :

IMPURE: The Confessions of Pius of Sutica (Book I)
puffables replied to thesmellypocket's topic in Silver City of Taliyu'lin
(( i am like.. jaw-drop impressed. thank you so much for this wonderful piece, like,, heck.. !! such an interesting perspective, i love this sm <33 genuinely started gushing about this piece to everyone i could find,,;; )) [!] Upon the chance that one Lleinde Tillun'sae would take to reading this, her brow would furrow at first. Over a tall, thin glass of white wine would the Tillun'sae make her way through the First Book of this series - a tear shed by the end. "This is.. undoubtably a fine piece of writing." the elfess murmured lowly and faintly to herself, some element of shock upon her porcelain features. She'd curl a few thinly-drawn smiles each time either her own work, or a particular favourite work of hers, was mentioned within citings in the essay, the writer in her heart swayed by the intellectual stylings. Yet, at the conclusion of her reading session the elfess gripped tightly the corners of the page, a sigh exhaled - her gaze wracked with a quiet sort of despair, a brow-furrowing sort of sorrow. "My.. they are so close, oh so terribly close, yet only just have they missed it - it is only guilt in my stomach which I might feel to know this fine oem'ii took to becoming so terribly disillusioned as to seek the false hope, the honeyed liquor of deital figures and institutions. Most all the criticisms levied against the Mali'thill might be reflected upon their own 'Church'." A rap of a fingertip against the table, her head shook side to side. "The difference between elmaehr'sae hiylun'ehya and this.. religion... is that the Mali'thill continue to grow, continue to strive to be ever-closer to elmaehr'sae hiylun'ehya: it develops, it builds, it lives through our Peoples' legacy. The draw towards true Enlightenment.. such gets closer with each spark of genius. The knowledge of all, it is a fathomable-infathomable thing; it has a direction. This ideal of a 'God' - it does not. It is but a stationary point - a standstill, a part of the Path we have long passed. Still.. " In tucking away of the papers, the pale figure continued on in her perhaps hypocritical ways of following this Doctrine of the Pure that she so cherished, one to which she was as devoted as any holy-man : a solemn hope that one day, perhaps, these hypocrisies would eventually be outgrown and erased, the vision to which she aspired realised. -
"Mm - an intriguing thesis." the Tillun'sae would conclude after reading over the paper. "Still, I must disagree with this setting of limitations.. whilst we may be bound to work with what we have for now, I am certain that one day we shall surpass even this boundary - true enlightenment, the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya, must be had."
-
"maehr'sae hiylun'ehya." the Tillun'sae would murmur to herself, a small smile at this, with a general approval. "Mm.. perhaps I ought to release my own missive upon the topic; it seems Courtship Tradition is not all that it has been." A lift of a quill, the nib soaked with rich, dark ink, she'd set to the finishing of a paper started some time ago, a print-like lettering careful upon the parchment. "Whilst Arranged Marriages of this sort do tend to be more useful and productive than those based upon fleeting 'lust', there are certain other aspects that must be met - a basic compatibility of ideals, to ensure the most compatible and productive coupling that can encourage each other's intellectual growth. Nonetheless, a most fine piece of work once again - my full praise to the good Tilruir Nullivari."

"maehr'sae hiylun'ehya." smiled the Puritan Okarir'san, a brightness along her features - it seems that in her short time as Okarir'san, the Haelun'orian Printing Press had been hard at work: certainly, a success! The Tillun'sae would keep this neatly folded in her pocket, to present to any liberal 'aheral she might come across in her day. She seemed most pleased indeed with the increased vigor and enthusiasm for purity and progress - now, all they needed was a working acid pit..

-= A VISAJ SELF-NOMINATION FOR OKARIR'NOR =-
puffables replied to TheIchorDruid's topic in Silver City of Taliyu'lin
"Mm.." pondered the Tillun'sae. "Aside from attending the Laurir's most lovely wedding, I don't believe I have spoken to them at all, yet. Still - one cannot simply reject the aspirations of dedication to the Silver State shown-!" A careful finish of the last drops of her wine, a tinkling sound as she set the glass back upon the desk, the Okarir'san would offer a small nod of acknowledgement to herself and the papers before her. "I suppose I ought to get to know the character of this one soon - an informed decision ought to be made." the elfess muttered to herself, carefully folding the sheet of paper to be placed away with all the other missives of the day - categorising and organising paperwork was a large part of her role to fill, after all. She'd note down in neat, equal-sized lettering that would appear almost printed a reminder to set up a meeting with this newly-returned Visaj. -
The Okarir'san smiled brightly at this, a clear sparkle in her gaze. "Ah, what a shame I could not steal such an intelligent elf as my own Tilruir-!" she'd call out in despair. "Truly, an individual of the highest calibre - they have swiftly become one of my favourite authors. I look forwards to their future work - how excellent." With this outburst to only herself, seated upon the upper balcony of the Eternal Library, the Tillun'sae would take a small sip of her glass of white wine, rolling the stem of the crystalline chalice between pinched fingertips, a slipped glance to the left to see the large stack of papers. "..Drat." the elfess would sigh, hastily sliding the paper away for safekeeping before getting back to work.

The Silver Council of Haelun’or As of the 4th of The Sun's Smile, 34 S.A. With the retirement of the hard-working Zelios Viradiraar, two positions upon elHeial’thilln are left vacant. We thank him for his service over the positions of Okarir’sil Okarirnor’ehya throughout the years, and wish him well upon his personal endeavours in pursuing elmaehr’sae hiylun’ehya. To fill his place in one, we are pleased to welcome mister Orinmon Viradiraar to elHeial’thilln, taking up the respected position of Okarir’sil. This dedicated elf, though young, has proven most capable - a clear dedication to elSillumiran and the wellbeing of the Silver State, a noble intent to defend his silver kin and push them towards success, and a strength in character; certainly a Mali’thill whose devotion to the maehr’sae hiylun’ehya and Silver Law must inspire us all. --- In yet another shift, the roles of elOkarir’tayna elOkarirmali’ehya are to be once more combined as per the consensus of elHeial’thilln, and the role of elOkarir’san to be shifted from primarily diplomacy - a task now upheld solely by elSohaer elMediiran’ehya - to matters more currently necessary, duties being to manage the Haelun’orian Press, to keep written record of important events and to provide guardianship for other Haelun’orian institutions such as the upcoming Haelun’orian Theatre and the existing Silver Societies. The role of Okarir’san shall be taken up by miss Lleinde Tillun’sae, the combined role of Okarir’tayna served by the ever-diligent miss Valyris Wynasul. Listed below are the current members of elHeial'thilln. Sohaer: Kolvar Uradir Medi'ir: Kiljarys an Iarwain Okarir'tayna: Valyris Wynasul Okarir'maehr: Valindra Viradiraar Okarir'san: Lleinde Tillun’sae Okarir'tir: Thalon Nulivari Okarir'sil: Orinmon Viradiraar Okarir'nor: [Vacant] -= maehr’sae hiylun’ehya =- [*] With the position of elOkarir’nor left vacant, we would highly encourage those with dedication and experience in such an area to make self-nominations for the role before elHeial’thilln reconvene to discuss the matter next Elven Week. Duties of Elokarir’nor include : a.) Serves as treasurer of Haelun’or. b.) Manages the citizenship, taxation and resources of Haelun’or. c.) Manages the allocation of residences. d.) Administrates the Market District. e.) Supervisor of both interior and international trade. f.) Appoints and dismisses Tilurir’nor. ahern ito nae’leh.

Lleinde Tillun'sae is an Okarir now, she supposes. With a small blink, the elfess would read over the letter, still a little surprised - nevertheless, she'd begin setting to work, the neatly-organised stacks of papers upon her desk only growing taller. "maehr'sae hiylun'ehya." she'd murmur to herself. "I hope to serve Elcihi well, as a guardian servant of the Silver People."
-
[!] An open missive would be directed to the authors of this piece, hopefully finding them well.

Lleinde Tillun'sae is literally a socialist, not currently a member of the Silver Council and holding no official power, and creating ground-up community-led social movements to enact change such as entirely community-run Societies, the by-hand personal construction of the Haelun'orian Arts Centre, and the open petitions of 'diarchist' - though, a m ore apt term would be conservative or traditionalist - ideal mentioned, encouraging the same from those of differing thought. Such an elfess had in fact written many a work upon her thoughts, the most prominent being the Doctrine of the Pure, from which stems most of the petition ideals listed. The elfess and her movement would be quite appalled to know of any 'common folk' within Elcihi, the blessed Citizenry, who had not the benefits of food, water, education, shelter and any other conveniences provided for them by the Silver State - such indeed would be something to petition about. In fact, hearing murmurs from a couple Mali'thill whom she had not before seen in the Silver City, and seeing the tragedy that had occurred in her short absence of but a few Elven hours, the Tillun'sae stood from her usual corner of the Eternal Library, a singular tear sliding down her pale face. A hand placed to her heart, the elfess garbed in simple, elegant red robes would seem most disturbed. "By Larihei..", she'd exclaim, a tight grip set upon the papers. "I cannot believe there is such a hatred for free speech within Elcihi, one cannot even make peaceful protest without being met by vicious, brutish action as the burning of all my fine work.. It was the work of many days, to construct my wonderful Arts Centre, to write up my simple petitions and humbly ask for the agreement, or disagreement, of the blessed citizenry. I have worked tirelessly, with no Council role to uphold, to still assist the progress of Elcihi, encouraging my fellow Mali'thill to create petitions of their own, make progress, bring ideas forth.. And see, this is how it leaves me."

- TO CHALLENGE STAGNANCY - Haelunor’ceruyem bilok -= The Citizenry Cries Out, “For Progress-!” =- The Mali’thill people have fallen behind. --- With the plague of Liberalism, of Degeneracy and Complacency stabbing its ugly roots beneath the very soils of our blessed Cihi, we as a People have been left behind - our progress stunted, as the air becomes still and stagnant, the flowing rivers turning to murk-watered swamps, the minds of the Citizenry dulled and lethargic, lacking stimulation. The Mali’thill people have suffered. --- Our tears drip slowly, the jewelled beads of salt-water sliding solemnly down the faces of silver oem’iian. We have suffered, and empathising with our suffering, Larihei has wept. The flood of Her tears washes away the dirt, the dust that has settled on the Path of Silver, the path of Purity. The fresh fall of new rain lustrates the scalps of the Mali’thill, opening their eyes from their slumber, harkening a new age. The Mali’thill people have awakened. --- Now, we see. Now, we realise the errors - the falsehoods told by those ‘ata of previous reign, the deceitful actions of those infected with the terrible rot of impurity. the Mali’thill people seek change. -= THE OPEN PETITIONS =- [!] The Open Petitions, awaiting signatures, are located within the new Haelun’orian Arts Centre, just beside the Silver Tavern and the Gates. Within the newly-opened Haelun’orian Arts Centre, upon the Ground Floor, Ten Petitions have been placed. The Haelun’orian Citizenry is encouraged to sign as many of these as they see fit to agree with, to show their support and request these changes be made as swiftly as possible by the current Silver Council. It is to be hoped that in an Elven Week, these petitions may be collected and brought to elHeial’thilln for their immediate attention, demanding their consideration in line with the will of the Mali’thill people. - Do your part : mark your place in history, leave this legacy of greatness to be recalled for all time, and sign the petitions! - [!] For the Convenience of All, and to keep a Permanent Record, Mali’thill are encouraged to add their signatures below this missive also, recording down the numbers of the proposals one might support. The List of Ten Petitions reads as follows : I : Petition for the Scheduling of Council Meetings every two-to-four Elven Weeks. II : Petition for the return of Closed Haelun’orian Gates and Sillumiran Gate Duty. III : Petition for the requirement of Donation of Books to the Eternal Library in order to receive Haelun’orian Citizenship and access to the Library. IV : Petition for the reconstruction of the Haelun’orian Acid Pits. V : Petition for the reestablishment of the Haelun’orian Laboratories. VI : Petition to revoke Dismissal of the Malauriran, calling for a return of the Maheral to be selected by the Council of Malauriran. VII : Petition for the reintroduction of Purity Trial Procedure and a city-wide focus on upholding Purity. VIII : Petition for a refurbishment of the Eternal College and Library, with the additional construction of a National Museum, Theatre, and Ballroom. IX : Petition for the creation of a Memorial wall, to commemorate and remember the lost Mali’thill who have passed. A Debate upon the Nature of the Mali’thill “What makes the Pure greater than the Lesser? How might one attain Purity? What is Purity itself?” In Two Elven Days, a debate shall be held within the Trade District Auditorium upon the nature of the Mali’thill. Such shall be the first debate of our newly-began Haelun’orian Debating Society [HDS]. All Mali’thill are welcome to attend, either to debate or simply to observe - we hope that many may consider a more continued membership for future events such as this. An encouragement is given also to leave word beneath this missive if one wishes to attend and debate, or if one has possible points of inquiry to make. We hope to encourage debate and discussion upon a broad range of subjects : interpreting the maehr’sae hiylun’ehya, current diplomacy, or simply elementary exercises of the mind such as debates over tea and wine. Structure : The Society is led by the Head Chair, whose role is to organise formal and informal debates, ensure everyone keeps to schedule, oversee such debates and delegate out further roles and tasks. Assisting them is the Vice Chair, who is tasked with running the Junior activities such as Model Silver Council and Model Delegates, and is also in charge of promoting orators through the ranks. We intend to showcase the artistic achievement of our fine artisans and creators, provide them with an environment in which they can flourish and speak with like-minded lliran, and to assist beginners who may be more interested Structure : The Society is led by the Curator, who is in charge of keeping things on-schedule and overseeing workshops. They may be assisted by other prominent artists of the Society who wish to run workshops in their field, teaching others their knowledge and allowing them to demonstrate their own skill. One will also be invited to the Society’s Awards Dinner, with the chance of attaining the Artist of the Elven Month award. We hope to assist in advancing an individual's knowledge, literary skills, and confidence in such. It is also our goal to display the work of our fine members each Elven month in the form of a published newspaper. Structure : The Society is led by the President, who is tasked with agenda-setting and calling meetings. There are no further ‘ranks’ to the Society, however awards may be presented in recognition of exemplary work. An award which changes hands each Elven month is the Writer of the Month award, something highly sought and competed for by the members of the Literature Society. Privileges : By joining the Society, one can expect invitations to various socialisation events, from our book club meetings to our workshops to our wonderful awards dinners. A record in the Society also provides fantastic experience for future possible council work, being good evidence that an individual is diligent, well-written, and holds enthusiasm for knowledge, a fine resume for any prospective position, especially those within the department of the Okarir’maehr. Requirements : To join our Society, one must hold literary skill and be a pure Mali’thill Citizen else hold special permit, to be reviewed stringently by the President. Members of our Society are expected to attend meetings when they are able, informing the President when they are unable to attend. They are also expected to submit an article for the Society Newspaper each Elven month. There is no formal uniform, however members are greatly encouraged to keep a feather quill behind their ear for meetings as both a practical item and to signify their membership. Schedule : Our society holds a formal meeting once every Elven week, upon a rota as follows: Day 4 [[Wednesday I]] : Agenda Setting ; discussing the books from the previous month, choosing new books. Held in the Eternal Library. Day 11 [[Wednesday II]] : Putting together the Society Newspaper, to be published before Day 18. Held at the Arts Centre. Day 18 [[Wednesday III]] : Poetry Workshop. Held in the Eternal Library. Day 25 [[Wednesday IV]] : Literary Awards Dinner. Held upstairs in the Silver Tavern. The Haelun’orian Fencing Association [HFA] “to strive for physical excellence is the duty of the pure” Manifesto : Our purpose is to ensure the upkeep of hiylun within the Mali’thill populace, providing a way to strengthen oneself. We seek to guarantee that every able citizen might defend themself in times of need - after all, when the Silver State is threatened, we all stand for the motherland of Haelun’or. The Association also hopes to act as a passage into the Sillumir, allowing those too young to enroll to still remain active and gain experience and training so that they might transfer smoothly once of age, should they wish to. Structure : The Society is led by the Keeper, who is tasked with scheduling practices and tournaments. They may be assisted also by Silan, fencers who hold a black ribbon, who are qualified to teach classes and hold practice sessions. Within the Association, there is a fortnightly Tournament to place members in ranking order, with the top spot a highly coveted position. Besides this, however, we also utilise a system of ribbon colours to distinguish between beginners and more experienced fencers. In ascending order: White ribbon, orange ribbon, blue ribbon, yellow ribbon, green ribbon, brown ribbon, and black ribbon - given the title of Sil. Beginners will start with an initial evaluation test to place them at a ribbon, and may move up ribbons based upon performance at both practices and tournaments as evaluated by the Keeper and Silan. Privileges : By joining the Society, one can expect to learn new skills and gain the ability to defend oneself. You will also be invited to practices and tournaments, and trusted with your ribbon colour and weekly rank to conduct respect from your peers. You may also be given the privilege of accompanying Sillumiran on missions if one is too young to join, yet proves to be capable of defending themselves. A history with the Society also brings great experience for later roles, certainly showing an enthusiasm for the art of swordsmanship, dedication and diligence as well as impressively well-kept hiylun. This certainly would catch the eye of Elsillumiran officers for those looking to join when of-age, or perhaps existing Sillumiran interested in rising the ranks. Requirements : To enroll in our Association, one is expected to be a pure Mali’thill citizen. Exceptions are granted only on the occasion that one holds a special permit, reviewed stringently by the Keeper. Members of our Association are expected to attend tournaments and assist in practices when called upon. If unable to attend any event, they are required to inform the Keeper. Members of our Association are also expected to come to the aid of the Silver State should any threat make itself present. There is no formal uniform, however members are greatly encouraged to wear appropriate protective-wear for fencing and, of course, the appropriate colour ribbon for their ranking. Schedule : Our schedule runs fortnightly, with events as follows : Day 6 [Friday I] : Weekly Open Practice [CRP]. Held within the Training Grounds. Day 8 [Sunday II] : Ranking Tournaments. Held in the Trade District Open Auditorium. Day 13 [Friday II] : Weekly Open Practice [PvP]. Held within the Training Grounds. The Haelun’orian Culinary Circle [HCC] “a fine life begins with a fine diet, a rejuvenating meal to fuel each task” Manifesto : Our purpose is to bring life to Haelun’or’s culinary scene - creating menus each Elven Month for the Silver Tavern, exploring foreign cuisines, evaluating and critiquing tastes in our Monthly Cuisine Review. We hope to provide each of our members with unforgettable tastes and culinary experiences, improving their skills in both critiquing cuisine and creating it. Structure : The Society is led by the Epicure, who is tasked with keeping everyone on-schedule and organising events such as cookery classes. They are assisted by the Sous-Chef, who is tasked with putting together the Silver Tavern Menu and may host some cookery classes, and the Arbiter, who puts together the Monthly Cuisine Review. The Circle is divided into three main ranks - Apprentice, Intermediate and Master. These may have specialities and focus areas tagged onto the end, such as Critic, Vintner, Rottiseur or Patissier. One can advance through the ranks by providing particularly wonderful items for the Tavern Menu, attending Cooking Classes or writing particularly good reviews. Three stars are needed to rank up from each rank to the next - a star is given to the top two menu items each month, to the top two reviews each month and half a star is given for each cooking class attended. Privileges : By joining the Circle, one can expect to be invited to many exciting trips, able to sample wide varieties of intriguing and delicious delicacies. One would also find themselves surrounded by like-minded individuals of high status, with many opportunities to socialise with the finest food-critics and chefs there are. Members of the Circle are also granted full access to utilise the Silver Tavern kitchens at any time, so long as they take care of the workspace and clean up after they have finished. A history in the Culinary Circle also provides a fantastic background for any interested in working in food, a certain mark of expertise in the area. It will also of course be a sign of experience and dedication, proving that an individual is dutiful and a skilled, productive member of Haelun’orian society. Requirements : Members of our Culinary Circle must hold a clear interest in the Culinary Arts and be pure Mali’thill Citizens. On some few occasions, exceptions may be made to award honourary membership to Lesser citizens who prove themselves exceptionally talented in the culinary arts. Members of the Circle are expected to attend events, informing the Epicure if they are unable to attend. They are also required to provide a quote for the Monthly Cuisine Review pamphlet on one piece of exotic cuisine sampled the last Elven Week and one other dish or drink of choice. Members are also expected to provide one unique menu item for the Silver Tavern each month, allowing the rest of the blessed Citizenry to enjoy the fruits of the Circle’s culinary skills. There is no formal uniform, however members are greatly encouraged to wear straw hats during club activities and especially outings to signify their membership to others and keep as an organised group. Schedule : Our schedule runs each Elven month, with events as follows : Day 2 [Monday I] : Providing and tasting the Monthly Menu of the Silver Tavern. Held in the Silver Tavern. Day 9 [Monday II] : Foreign Excursion to sample and critique exotic cuisines. To meet at the Silver Tavern before making the trip. Day 16 [Monday III] : Reviewing and publishing the Monthly Cuisine Review of exotic cuisines and other chosen dishes or drinks. Held at the Arts Centre. Day 23 [Monday IV] : Cooking workshop. Held at the Silver Tavern.

"Masulian -!" the Tillun'sae would smile, reading over the paper. "I had been awaiting just this very thing." With this, the elfess would seem most content, thoughts drifting to the future with eagerness. Yet, she'd soon notice the swiftly-piling work beside her, the instinct of work kicking in as she was drawn back to that which she had previously been doing.

"maehr'sae hiylun'ehya." replied one elfess in simple tone, a bright smile accompanying their enthusiastic nod.

Whilst secluded within the confines of her home, Lleinde Tillun'sae would peer up from her studies upon hearing a small clicking sound. A turn about, she'd notice the mail-slot cover swaying back and forth, a small piece of parchment drifting down onto the oaken floors, barely missing the doormat. Intrigued, the elfess stood from the creaking armchair and paced her way over to the door, a sharp arch of her tall back to reach down, snatching the corner of the paper between pointed fingertips. Her pale blue eyes scanning quickly over the page, she'd immediately see recognition of certain terms, lifting an exact, white-toothed grin. A careful cart of the paper back to her desk, she'd smooth it out with excess precision, a touch of a fingertip to her tongue before flicking over the first page. The elfess would finish the paper with improved mood, a note of positive review wrapped around it, before tucking it neatly into a miniature, but very well-kept, library.
