Silence In The Forest

The dagger leaves Kefi's neck, her eyes wide in shock. Stabbed by her close friend Isabella over a trivial matter and a misunderstanding... The dagger had pierced her jugular. Her world is just a blur, losing blood quickly. She falls to the ground, coughing up blood as her vision turns dark.

Lying on the floor of the Grove's grotto in a pool of blood, her body now cold and lifeless, several of her kin mourning over her. Inquiring around, no one has seen her return from the Cloud Temple.

And that night, the forest stood still...

Mythras is blissfully unaware of this, and continues his daily business.

The Bird Druid, sitting in the damp wood, feels a sadness overcome him suddenly... he sighs, pondering what this latest unfortunate occurrence could be.

Lenniel watches as Kefi falls upon the ground, he is quickly called away, thinking to himself, "Why must this happen?"

Isabella sits in jail, horribly disappointed in Kefi using her as a suicide catalyst, presumably with the intention of ruining her life.

And attacking her.

And molesting her child.

She contemplates doing the same, then looks down at her child, and sighs.

Hell hath no fury...

Shortly after her and Ouity's magical joint magical temper tantrum caused a guard to flee, a druid arrives bearing the news that Stella's testimony would result in her being released.

Knowing what this means, she might be able to relax... well, partly.

But she may never be the same.

Like a woman scorned.

Stella sits on her bed, hours after the incident. Her eyes red and puffy from the constant crying. Her body trembling from witnessing Kefi's demise as she continues to whimper endlessly. Still trying to make fact from fiction on what she seen. Still not saying a word after seeing Kefi laying in a blood of her own blood. The image burned into her memory for the rest of her life.

Mason Owynson, despite not having been present;
remains completely unsurprised by this Elf suffering such an unfortunate demise.

Elves kill each other off over the most trivial of transactions.
If only they had the common sense The Creator instilled in a brick,
they might be able to hold together a competent military or police,
so that this sort of thing wouldn't happen.

Perhaps if the citizens of Malinor weren't so self-destructive, Kaldo could intervene without be attacked by citizens. He shrugs, impartial.

Beth stares down at the dry blood on the grass. She had already heard the news of Kefi's death. She frowns,

"Yep. All our friends keep dying. No, I never got to say goodbye but you all didn't get to either. I'll put a rose down on the spot where she died later.. When the blood ceases to exist here."

Beth leaves the grove after having a short conversation with herself.

"Goodbye Kefi."

[A large notice appears in the druid grove]

The most precious of treasures among the elven race is our youth. They're to always be cared for, loved, and unharmed. The abuse of a child, this close to the forests of Malin will not be tolerated. For any that look at a child with desire in their gaze, will meet the ultimate punishment among the elves. To abuse any elven child will equate to the branding of the false-elf and banishment, your ties to the circle will mean nothing to the elves of malinor, if you abuse a child.

Know this druii, I've lost much respect for the druidic way because of the events of recent. Prove to me that you're indeed creatures of balance and peace, instead of vile-beings who do not deserve to dwell anywhere near Malin's forests.
