INTRO

Brash and passionate in nature, the Camoryn wood elves are not noble, and may or may not hold the blood of aenguls. Instead, this family rises to notability within the Mali nation due to the individuals it produces. Be they charismatic or quiet, strong or weak.

HISTORY

Origin

The origins of the Camoryn line begin in Laurelin of Aegis, with one wood elf named Eyerwin. A soldier by trade, he had served many decades in the elven Wardens. Married to another mali’ame by the name of Echel. The two lovers eventually married, having one child, Ierven. No real notable qualities to distinguish this family as anything but average elves, of course.

Dark Ties

As it turns out, in the progress of Iblees’ invasion of the undead, Eyerwin had become something of an undercover agent to the unholy dark forces. His wife Echel became distressed at the news. Opting to flee from her husband along with their young son. The ultimate fate of Eyerwin is unknown to this day, however, Echel and her growing son made it to the shores of Asulon, settling in the human town of Ager.

New Beggining

Plague quickly took the life of Echel, leaving the young adult Ierven Camoryn in charge of the family farmlands that had been set up off the outskirts of Ager. Ierven did well for himself, living peacefully. He soon found one of the few other elves living in those lands, a dainty individual named Veolyn. The two sired two children. First Ierschen and then Auberon.

The Second Generation

Auberon, the younger of the two brothers said his goodbyes and moved to Normandor to rejoin his kin, having been born and raised under rural human culture, marrying and siring a child known as Eleyas with one Ithlinne Camoryn. Ierschen stayed on the farm, learning to hunt as a side, meeting Helena Akkaris. A proud mali’ame lady, and siring three children. Aliss, Alari, and of course, Artimec.

Helena later had died of plague, and Ierschen left to wander Asulon, leaving his three grown children.

TRAITS

Camoryn tend to be brash and blunt in nature. Passionate about what they care for and fierce to defend it. Of course each individual varies from one to another. But generally the Camoryn have wild free spirited personalities, however, have a regard for the law. Recognizing the difference between a free spirit and a lawless criminal.

MEMBERS

The living members of the Camoryn family today are as follows:

Artimec Camoryn (LeoWarrior14)

The stoic mage, Chancellor of Leyulin, patriarch of the Camoryn family. His proud nature battles his desire to stay humble.

 

Pebble Camoryn (TheEpicFiend)

Dark elf, adopted daughter of Artimec, she is magically diabetic and elaboriating further would be complicated.

 

Caedwen Camoryn (Eladriendil)

First and eldest son of Artimec Camoryn.

 

Aliss Camoryn (hex37)

The elder sister of Art, very odd by nature and spending most of her time isolated in swamps. Aliss is what many would call a ‘witch’.

Alari Camoryn (penzin26)

The youngest of the three children of Ierschen and Helena. Kind and quiet in nature and more inclined to nature and the druidic aspects than her hotheaded mage of a brother.

 

Eleyas Camoryn (crayfishchris)

The cousin of Artimec, unlike his human cultured cousins, he grew up in Normandor, and early Leumalin of Anthos, with his elven kin. Roughly 200-300 years of age. Personality is up to he/she who plays him.

 

Ierschen Camoryn (bookworm8572)

A mid aged elf and the father of Artimec, Ierschen would be around 400-500 years of age. Having lost his wife to a plague he is haggard and somewhat of a drunkard. Creative license is left to the player, however.

Ithlinne Camoryn (open)

Mother of Eleyas, She too would be around 400-500 years of age. Her personality left up to the player.

Auberon Camoryn (Garakumus)

Father of Eleyas, uncle of Artimec. He should be a charismatic well-spoken elf, but, as always, the personality is ultimately left up to the player.

Veolyn Camoryn (open)

A graceful older elf, around 700-800 years of age. She is the grandmother of Artimec/Aliss/Alari/Eleyas. Personality is up to the player.

Ierven Camoryn (Greenpelt201345)

A veteran of Aegis, like his wife, Veolyn. Roughly 800-900 years of age.

APPEARANCE

Camoryn are have slightly lighter skin than your usual wood elf, however it still remains an almost ashy-brown tan. Their hair ranges anywhere from dark coffee brown to rusty red. The eyes are always a dark forest green. Their height usually peaks at around 5’8-5’11ft with slim builds.

Camoryn often opt to wear simple clothing. Mostly in shades of Green, or other nature oriented colours. Long sleeves and flowing coats and generally loose clothing is also the norm.
