The Massacre Of The Silver Storm

-1st of Deep Cold, 1445-

The streets of Abresi were bustling with life. The Emperor was in the guard headquarters talking and helping to train the guards. All seemed well except for an armored figure running through the alleyways. The Emperor rounded up a squad of guards and advanced on the man's position. They chased him onto the second level of the city. Soon the guards caught up with him though and began to try and arrest him. The man looked over into the mountain slightly and let out a loud whistle as a horde of armored men converged onto the position of the Emperor. The strelt guards stared into the horde in surprise as they lose interest in the man they were arresting. The man backs away slowly to join the horde of men. One man of the horde lets out a loud scream before all the men of the horde charge at the Emperor and his guards.

Swords strike and lives are lost. The bloody aftermath of the encounter costs the lives of the guards as well as the Emperor himself. Huron Silverblade, one of the leaders of the rebel, strides forward toward the fallen Emperor and beheads the body, holding the head of the “great” Emperor in the air. The men stuff the head of the man into a potato sack as they continue their march throughout the city. They make their way down to the prison passing many citizens that stare at them in awe, some cheer and some fear. As they arrive at the prison they notice a man guarding a prisoner. They take it upon themselves to slay the guard and release the female inside of the prison. The men prepared to leave the city until the men of the Cardinal Cross entered the city in full combat armor. The heads of the Cardinal Cross rolled onto the streets as the horde of liberators marched out of the city rejoicing their victory that came from the onslaught.

((When did this happen? Or was this a rebel dream))

((Oh this happened we killed Havenok and 4 guards, and then killed a guard in the prison, and then killed the Cardinal Cross last night.))

((so... what does this mean? I see the Emperor was slain or something, does that mean that Oren is now in the possession of rebels or what? I don't quite understand where this leaves everyone right now, could someone make some sort of ooc clarification for what has happened?))

((He got revived by Wilven Monks I would assume))

((But you took over the city? It seemed like that from the way you posted it or wrote the post. Is that correct to assume? It sounds like you killed all of the defenders in the city, killed the king, freely walked through the town and then wiped out a responding force that was trying to enter the city. In my books I would call that a successful hostile take over really. Unless of course you want to clarify this otherwise. ))

((I think there was like 4 guards in miss-matched armor, along with the King/Emperor or whatever that lost in PvP. I think it was just the silverblades raiding and making it sound like an epic skrimish, but I wasn't there so yah. Also, is everyone suppose to be making giant posts when we kill someone of importance? If so should the ex-blackmonts/flays be wrighting these every ten minutes?))

Siegmund glances to the heads he has of various rebels. Then he sees his own head. Then he sees various heads of random peoples who still walk anthos to this day. He realizes its pretty illogicalto rp decapitating someone when they aren"t pk"d, and all the heads go poof and vanish.

"I must find my good friend Scav Ruthern to teach me how to fight with nexus"

( it was just a pvp raid lol I'm pretty sure Kyle died in it too, no one is pkd, just kinda like an ego thing for these rebels)

((Yeah... it's not really a good idea to go cutting people's body parts off after they're dead because it doesn't really make sense to do so unless they're perma killed... Which was why I was confused as to what this post meant because you don't just go lopping off the heads of kings unless you're y'know... taking over?))

Prince David Winter stands on the walls of Castle Wintermont, his gaze towards the south. An icy northern wind blows, ruffling the furs he wears over his uniform.

"War. It tears Anthos apart. These rebellions, the coming wars, will shake Anthos to its very foundations. Tarus and Silverblade rebels, Horen rebels.... they all do not understand that Anthos cannot afford this war. While dissension and war between nations and rebels shakes up northern Anthos, our reals enemies approach from the north."

David shifts his gaze towards the east, in the direction of Malinor.

"If they would just open their eyes and look at what is happening to the Elves, they would see the true danger we're in."

David then turns so that he is facing north, looking up at the great ice wall behind Castle Wintermont.

"We cannot hold them much longer... while Anthos should be uniting, the different factions argue and fight among themselves. The northern nations of Herendul and Malinor cannot hold the damned line forever."

Verus looks into the mountains of Urguan watching as Herendul is more concerned with claiming Cloud Land and Dwarven land instead of fighting the North. He watches as towns of newlanders are forced under the banner of Herendul.

The King receives a report of a minor rebel insurrection in Abresi, and notes that the Emperor was wounded. King Edward sighs and beckons his eager young scribe to his side, beginning to dictate a letter...

((I hope we followed the new raid rules!

Raiding parties have a four man size cap for unaffiliated raids and an eight man size cap for raids from a nation (although this counts as an attack). All raiders require 1a2a, no form of siege weapon (including ladders or grappling hooks) or ModReq access may be used.
