Remove The Raid/war Rules, And Enforce Players To Solve Matters Ig

People love to push boundaries. It's that simple. Think of the Prohibition in America. Remove said boundaries and they'll create their own. I'm fully in support of this.

That was a 1920s system prohibiting alcohol. There is no comparison to a Minecraft server system for combat in the 2010s.

I was just using an example. The fact of the matter remains... there will always be someone who wants to break the rules and bend them, so on and so forth. It is more of a psychological matter than anything else.

What this guy is trying to transmit as an idea is very simple, in fact.

The moment you give people limitations, rules, or tell them not to do certain things, they'll be curious and try to break them and do the things they were told not to. You are told not to run down the stairs, yet you have done so a few times, yes? People need guidelines, not rules. Guidelines can be made by players, in order to give themselves boundaries. If you force something on them, however, they will try to disobey. It's human nature. Psychology 101.

I think you are wrong thinking that returning to how the server was in Aegis would make it better. Lots of things have changed since then, and I don't think that it is necessarily the best thing to return to how it was in Aegis.

The server within Aegis raid rules was getting the two leaders of the group/town/city on at one time to agree on the raid rules and agreements before setting a time and date on it to which when everyone would be on. As my awareness you are creating your own new system, but again to what another person said, what of the people in other time zones, Eg: Australia or Netherlands. They will be forced to wake up early or stay up late to even participate in any raid wars. So leave it to the first idea of two leaders making the arrangements.

I don't understand how the solution to people breaking the rules is to not have rules.

I'm with Lago on this personally, as I believe it'll lead to the best possible outcome.
