1.7 is good, when all the servers become 1.7 is will piss you off to switch back

Playing on the server, no real issues at all. Nothing is really different. No need to put the staff through more stress trying to return it.

I would need Tythus and he's not around right now to roll-back to 1.6.4.

 

The amount of time we're going to have to put into getting 1.6.4 back on the server is also not minimal, the server would be down another day and I really want to avoid this. Especially after I've figured out how to get 1.7.2 running, and I'm so glad that it's working now.

 

Expect the rest of today to be semi-stable, we're not fully aware of which plugins might crash us and stress testing with 50+ players is something we couldn't do and so we couldn't find these errors. I'll be keeping an eye on it though so it should be fine.

 

I'm sorry guys, there were numerous complaints about the lag and connection issues with 1.6.4, I wanted to fix it as a Christmas present hehe, I failed dramatically but at least it's sort of working now. :)

 

 

Why do we get the issues so much worse than most over huge server even with large amount of their plugins and and if 1.6.4 was better and you guys knew it why not stay and do what was best if it was really best to stay in 1.6.4 or if its best to stay on 1.7.2 stay on it dont say maybe we might go back.

That some times the players just need to be ignored :P when we have no idea what we are about and pfft we dont need the plugins aslong as the text works we ca still RP and have fun

This may sound wierd but soul stones breaking led to some of the best rp I've had in a while. While taking longer journey, I had to hire an escort who I later found out was quite new to the server. Gave me a safer journey and him some starter mina. I think we should try re-working the soul stone system as it discourages alot of travel and toad rp.

I like the update but what i don't like is that theres no way to get any of the 1.7.4 blocks legit from the wilds or anywhere you are forced to go to events and get them despite if you are in the middle of rp, and some may not be able to go to this 'event' meaning they don't get anything out of 1.7.4, Atleast block-wise.
