Whether in forests and plains of green, Or in far lands where none have been. Gray Company. That is who I am representing. A noble gathering of men. While being a group of rangers seems to be the "fad" of aegis with several fortress' and guild halls spread throughout the land, we stay hidden, inconspicuous. We do not rival other ranger companies for competition, we embrace them and will try to bring them together under a single banner. This is not a guild as such. It is not an occupation. It is the foundation for a Ranger Alliance for all guilds and groups with rangers within their ranks. I have no payment structure, nor means for myself to gain profit. I am hoping for a more united structure to the Rangers. Be they of the Wilds or based in cities. I hope for meetings with other leaders to share information so all can be ready should we need to mobilise. The Gray Company will be made up of Rangers both ranged and melee. Should enough men of each skill decide to stand with me I will assign you into partners of your choosing and to a region near an encampment. This is not permanent, you may travel as you please but regular scouting of the area is needed. Thank you for your time. Even should this appear to dissolve into nothing know that I will still roam the lands, donning a gray cloak, aiding as many as is within my power. Ranger Alliance I am seeking to form an alliance between all Rangers, for the Gray Company. DO not misunderstand, I do not wish to take your men, nor will I attempt to. What Aegis needs is a more unified Ranger organisation. A way for all parties and companies to have an understanding, of what is happening. That is what i wish to achieve. Through this alliance Rangers will be given the location of the two hidden Gray Company encampments in Oren. Which will provide shelter for any Rangers in the area. Not only will there be shared shelter but also information, whether passed through books or by the tongue all Rangers will have access to more information of both events and of the landscape. If a war breaks out between Oren and the undead or any other nation these Rangers under the allegiance will be able to meet up and work together as one Ranger Cell. Where to meet up can be discussed in person or through carrier pigeons. Robin Drake 731 Author Share Posted August 20, 2011 Your support is appreciated. I do not seek for other Rangers to abandon thier existant posts, within towns, cities or otherwise. If I did the various other groups would fall into disarray with people leaving their posts. I am going to try and get an as many of the Ranger groups as allies to this cause, to the Gray Company.Doing so will see a better information network and collaboration between the allied groups.
