Alone

She had always been alone. No matter if it was with her family or with her loved ones, she always felt along. The pain of that night was still fresh in her memory. The pain in her stomach, the emptiness in her heart. Tears welled up in her eyes as she stood out looking over the water. His name left her lips like the light whisper of the morning breeze.

Silvery strands of hair reflect in the light. Her hands clutch a small dagger as she takes a steady breath. "We may not be together anymore, but we soon will be." she whispers. Her lips part as pain shoots through her body as the dagger digs deep into her flesh. Tears rolls down her cheeks as she smiles.

Slowly she turns and lets gravity take her away. Darkness quickly enveloping her as she plummets down the cliff into the dark abyss.
