Malinor House Massacre

It was supposed to be a beautiful day. A Celebration was to be held. No, not for the marriage of the Prince and his wife. That was a stupid event, but the event of the New Year. Celestria shouted across Malinor 

"A Party is to be held at my Malinor home! All may attend!"

 

People from around Malinor gathered around, making their way into Celestria's home. They were greeted by a lovely drawing room. It was a happy event. Everyone made their way downstairs where they shared drinks, stories, laughed. Alice embarrassed herself like always. It was a fun event. Though the Lumi'drim attempted to interfere, to ruin it. Eventually Celestria persuaded the Captain, Kris, to attend. He made his way downstairs to make sure the guests weren't trapped but to his surprise Celestria locked the basement door behind him, idiot she thought.

 

Celestria began to pour alcohol into the room, through the gap in the door. Guests wondered what was happening. Why was there alcohol filling the room? Some people panicked as alcohol began to spread across the floor. Celestria then removed the torch from the wall and held it down to the alcohol, allowing it to catch fire. The fire spread easily across the floor, the guest room now catching fire. 

 

As the guests backed against the wall Celestria moved upstairs, spreading fire along the staircase. Once she was upstairs she dropped on the wooden floor and made her way outside safely before locking the door behind her. As the house went ablaze Celestria ran from the scene. 

 

People came, but not fast enough. The Guests were trapped. They screamed in absolute horror as the fire engulfed the room, leaving them helpless.

One girl, Alice attempted to bat the flames in futility. Only to have herself engulfed in flames moments later. She quickly dived for another guest in absolute hysteria, Berdo.

Berdo who had attempted to break down the door was flown back from the rising flames after being attacked by the hysterical guest. He quickly caught fire because of her.

Another girl, Elwyn who had taken the full force of the initial blast of flames jumped on Kris in an attempt to stay above the flames.

Another guest, Kris tried to ram the door down as his armour melted upon him. As he collapsed to the ground Elwyn melted into the iron, above him. They had become one.

The other guests screamed and pushed eachother in an attempt to grasp the last lungful of air but it was useless.

Caroline, who had heard of the party watched the fire from a far as it engulfed it's guests. She smiled menacingly as she remained hidden, just watching.

 

Celestria made a mental note of who died that night. As groups of people neared she knew the bodies would soon be found though it would have taken a while because of all the rubble. Smoke rose from the house. It was completely destroyed. It had caved in on itself. Theories arose on how the fire occurred, with no idea who had attended or who had died. The latest theory was that the furnaces had exploded, making the floor catch fire. 

What a splendid evening.

Caroline tilts her head as she watches the house burn from a far. She stays hidden behind a few trees and bushes as she takes a swig of her wine. She grins menacingly as she hears the faint screams of the guests. 

"What a way to kill your house guests, Celestria."

She says to herself. She quickly sneaks away, staying hidden as the flames engulf the fire.

"I'm not going to be blamed for Celestria's mess." She murmurs.
