中国共产主义阵营

Hong Kong, 2351

As Xi Jingpin saw how slowly order came back to life, millitants patrolling as fortifications arising. 300 years ago, they were people trying to survive the struggle between the other major faction. Now, they have the most modern city in their possesion, with no doubt it shall be superior once the electricity comes back on. The people had trouble adapting to the harsh regime climate under As Xi Jingpin, but anyone with a different suggestion was taken down without tolerance.

Meanwhile, Tuen Mun is the next target for the Red Army. Seeing how it was a military port in the cold war, As Xi sees potential to repair naval vessels and to find more survivors. 50,000 soldiers are sent to surround the city slowly. Snipers would take down gang activity as teams would split off and use guerilla warfare on the gangs.

Empire of the Dragon

Even before the nuclear war, China was a nation laid low, by the third world war. The nuclear missiles furthered that, and the flooding ravaged the coast line. Further in land was another story however, and though the first fifty or so years had been all warring feudal and war lord like chinese factions. That all changed however, when the first Dragon Prince united the western chinese factions. He used a small and elite force to quickly take land, before he was killed in battle. His kingdom did not fall, and his son was decreed the knew Dragon Prince, thus creating a lasting hereditary line. For the next 300 years the Empire of the Dragon expanded in all directions at a vicious rate, militias and well trained Dragon Knights carving out large swathes of land all in the Dragon Prince's name.

The Eighth Dragon Prince rose to power recently, after his mother had died due to radiation. This was held from the masses however, and was said she was assassinated by the enemies to the east. They would never admit to the line of the Dragon being prone to any illness artificial or natural. This also killed two birds with one stone, as word of the Dragon princess being assassinated was taken badly, the people having loved her so.

Seizing the opportunity, the new Dragon Prince Su'Zu decreed an army was to muster, and repay the violence ten fold to the Kingdom of Wu to the east. This would take time however, for all the towns would have to be visited by the Imperial army to gather men for the militia. The capital of Xi'An soon became a place for armed men, the Imperial Army and it's large militia assembling. The army was mainly comprised of militia sword, spear, bow,and shield bands, though the Imperial Army and various armed militias were the muscle of the army.

On the home front, Su'Zu continued the Dragon Empire's long standing policy. Keep the masses poor, uneducated, and therefore easy to control and subvert. A ruling class of houses favored by the Imperial Family lorded over the land. There were six provinces in the Empire, each providing different resources to the Imperial Capital, to then be distributed along the Empire for civil or trade. For example, one province was mainly agricultural, while another focussed on lumber, but all provinces also put some effort into all the other resources. A Provincial Governor answered only to the Imperial Family, and was charged to rule the province, maintain it's militia and army, and make sure taxes the province itself was running smoothly.

Sikh Confederation

The Sikh Confederation was founded by Makul Mamraj, in the general area that was formerly known as Pakistan. It rose up against other minor tribes in the region, and claimed dominance. The Sikh Confederation had a population of over 13,000,000, due to the Indian sub-continent having the largest population in the world. The Sikh's also have an army of 100,000 soldiers, the number had to be large as India is a giant warzone, forcing the Sikh's to mobilize.

But the Sikh Confederacy was faced with a giant threat on it's southern border. The Kalat Empire, with an army of 130,000, was currently at war with the Sikh Confederation. It all started when the Sikh armies went to claim land down south to claim coastal territory. The Kalat Empire wanted this land as well, and they sent an army to challenge the Sikh's. Diplomacy led to conflict, and ended with a Kalat victory, ensuring the Sikh Confederacy would remain land-locked for the time being.

India-Israelli1.jpg

Sikh troops on the front line, watching for signs of movement from the Kalat Empire's troops.

The Sikh Confederacy had a smaller army and was a smaller nation then the Kalat Empire, so the Sikh leading General, Kabir Gajanan, proposed the Sikh's maintain a defensive stance, wait for Kalat troops to mount an offensive, and inflict huge casualties on the Kalat Empire, then go on the offensive. Sikh troops dug in on the border, choosing rocky and mountainous terrain. Soon the Kalat Generals realized that the Sikh's weren't attacking, and they assumed that this was because they took too heavy casualties from the initial skirmishes. Based on this assumption, the Kalat Empire prepared to launch an assault on Sikh positions.

~ Mod Announcements ~

The people of Earth have noticed over the past few decades, huge colorful explosions of red, green, and blue in the skies all over the world. Some scholars with knowledge of the past hypothosize it to be a result of the massive weapon discharged there during the Last War, however they are uncertain.

The Lost Tribes

A group of scavengers return from one of the islands in the East, with them is a group of roughly 500 survivors, several dozen new rifles, most of which without ammo, and some fuel which the new group offers to the nation as thanks for bringing them in. It is roughly enough to power three humvees or a single patrol vessel for about three hours.

The Texas Rangers

The scavengers sent to Houston would find fuel, however they must make a choice. Two of the humvees have run out of fuel, and should they use the new oil to fuel the humvees, the faction will only have enough oil to power a single chopper for less than an hour. However, should they keep it it could power the chopper for almost five hours.

The Honshu Republic

The first few Honshu patrol craft reach Taiwan and Korea with relative ease, what they discover there is terrifying. In Korea, cannibals roam the coasts, eating whatever people they can find in order to survive. However, a single nation based out of Pyongyang which is based mainly on Communist values offers trading of furs with the Honshu. In Taiwan, there are two warring factions, East Taiwan and West Taiwan. The East requests aid from the Honshu and in exchange will trade some oil which is being drilled in the South China Sea on a single platform, the pride of the country.

The Brothers of Stalingrad

In a horrible turn of events, only one of the helicopters returns with only a few rifles and some bottles of medicine. They report that just outside of Moscow, a large camp has been established. The camp shot a single RPG round at one of the choppers and sent it cascading into the ruins of Moscow, instantly killing the crew and passengers. They demand that vengence be taken against these pigs. The radio broadcasts reach most of Asia, the Asian factions should hear these broadcasts.

Norway

Since you will be on the Swedish Coast, allow Bickando to respond to this accordingly. In Oslo the remains of a massive German aircraft carrier, the GKS Bismarck sits ominously in the harbour, small electric lights emitting from the interior.

Hong Kong

The attack on Tuen Mun fails, resulting in the loss of almost 15,000 men. This is largely in part to the trouble of keeping a line of communication with a lack of electricity and power in the area. Advisors suggest that this problem be addressed with care before attempting a new attack. The attempt at communication largely fails, Havana being much too far away, however transmissions would be received in Stalingrad.

The Sons of Arminius

As night fell over the city of Heidelberg, Governor Arminius hosted a ball in his Palace, which was actually an old university that had been converted with the establishment of the Republic. Inside, beautiful pieces of music from both the Old Times and the Post War years were played. A personal favorite of the Governor was Mozart, which was a luxury to hear in these times. However, this ball was not for personal pleasure, but for diplomatic prestige. Attending the ball were delegates from neighboring Italian and German states, all of which were invited in good will by the Governor.

What these leaders were unaware of was that the Governor was probing them, watching them for exploitations, weaknesses, personality traits. By the end of the night the Governor had a detailed profile of each leader in his head, when he would use this he was unsure.

As winter descends on Berlin, a group of roughly 15 scouts traverse through the city, already nearly a foot of snow had fallen. What they see depresses them, once glorious monuments to civilization and purity are now nothing but crumpled heaps of stone and metal. They fill large semi-trailers pulled by strong oxen with scrap metal, vital for bullet production. Stone is also taken. A group of five pushes further into the city, noticing a large plume of smoke rising from what probably once was the area around the Brandenburg Gate. What they see is astounding, a tribe of roughly 100 people, are worshipping a strange idol. When approached, they call themselves "Worshippers of The Weapon" and say the idol represents the weapon which the Great Emperor used to destroy civilization. These survivors are noted in a report by one of the scavengers for the State Department to study. The State Department is shocked at the developments and theorizes that more of these worshippers are probably scattered all over the country and world.

News of a large faction in Spain, with a capital somewhere in Barcelona is heard through nomadic traders who have travelled most of the continent trading their resources. They suggest an attempt at radio contact. As a result, the Department of Foreign Affairs sends out a broadcast for most of Western Europe, hailing any survivors and announcing their location as well as willingness for trade.

Brothers of Stalingrad

The Chopper returns as it lands in the main compound, only 27 men returned, several of them wounded. Within the hour the report lands on Kislov's desk.

"Worthless Dogs!!" he throws the report into his fireplace in an outrage "Prepare a strike force! I want those bastards dead!"

5 tanks and 900 soldiers are prepared to set out within the week towards Moscow. Their orders are to take no prisoners and salvage everything and anything from the compound in Moscow, afterwards they are ordered to take over the camp as an outpost.

This order was however canceled after Colonel Chekov was able to convince Kislov that to attack Moscow from such a distance would prove hopeless.

After realizing they've made a connection to China, they further attempt to communicate realizing the channels are weak between the two factions.

In local news a small group of people is tried and found guilty of conspiracy against the state, As to not waste bullets all criminals within the state are Hung until dead from a gallows in town square.

As per orders of Colonel Chekov, 5 groups of roughly 30 Soldiers and around 20 Civilian Volunteers are sent out in all directions to find and make contact with other factions.

Local assessments place the Stalingrad Armed Forces with the following-

10 T-74 tanks which are kept in Hangars now only to be used in the most needed defense of Stalingrad.

1 Soviet Helicopter

50,000 Infantry (Armed with Makarovs,Aks, RPKs and RPGs)

Sensor_Farmers1.JPGThings were going alright in the City-State, apart a small outbreak of Malaria on the Eastern fringes. The militia is called up for the bi-weekly training, being able to stay for several days in the main capital.

Scavengers_bridge.jpgExplorers make contact with a sort of nomadic tribe leaving in what was once Chicago's west side. They attempt to open up relations, mentioning them being able to join the City-State. They seem friendly enough.

Just as important, a library is found on the outskirts of the city. The men take as much as they can, having been instructed to scavenge political and military documents, along with some intellectual subjects such as mathematics and science. Should the City-State wish to expand, it would have to do so with an educated populace.

The New Legion

The sun rises over the city of Marsala, the Centurion Vibious wakes to the sound of battle training in the make-shift barracks as his men retrain themselves ,as they have for years, in the art of the sword. Some 8,000 soldiers throughout the city train while modern arms are stockpiled, few modern age weapons remain in Marsala.

A captain as usual gave the report of the last days proceedings 3 Ariete Battle Tanks and 2 Piaggio P180 Avanti Transport helicopters have been found and the pilots eager

Vibious on a daily bases walks among the populous of his city covering 3 sections of the city a day attempting to give hope to them in a barely managing food supply as fishing exploits have dwindled and the farms small.

"We need to get back into the hospital in Mazara send the transports to scavenge what's left there before nightfall." He said on his walk through a more densely populated area of Marsala.

A Radio Tower with the Legions main military base is always the last stop today a message is broadcasted to all parts of Sicily and beyond " To all those who can hear me respond as soon as you are able."

The Lost Tribes of Australia.

Aaron gave out orders to gather all the scrap metal and material from the abandoned factories around the formerly urban areas and send them to Tasmania. Tasmania would become a major hub for all coastal operations. The shipyard there would become the most important tool for the future. Scouts are ordered to the major ports in order to scavenge boat parts.

Aaron ordered the production of ships based off of the 1 Armidale class ship they had, they would have no guns on them other then the ones the sailors would have in hand. Any fuel found must be sent to the Tasmanian shipyards. The first ship is expected to take very long without any parts, but would be sped up massively with ship parts.

36_smokey-mt-road-cattle-drive72.jpg

Meanwhile, with the new citizens, a large Cattle drive is begun towards the western coast, farms are planned to be set up along the area and the cattle will be extremely valuable. A large militia of about 1000 join the drive, only about half are armed with guns though, the rest are left with shields and spears.

9th%20Cavalry_jpg.jpg

The soldiers are nearly all on horseback, and about half of those are armed with guns march ahead of the group to scout along the areas the cattle drive will reach. The men find a small village which appears nomadic, there are unmounted horses sitting around a set of several makeshift tents. The scouting group approaches with caution before announcing their presence, asking to see the leader of their group. There could not be more then 100 people in this group, and the scouting group outnumbers them greatly.

Meanwhile, the scouting ship that was sent to the Americas has arrived, landing in the Pacific midwest, they immediately start heading gradually North-East, they order those on horseback to march ahead, while those on foot will scout around, extremely close to The Neo-Mounties of British Columbia without realizing, though they won't be close enough to them for several days, unless a party was sent south. Those on horseback, on the other hand, are travelling extremely fast, with minimal stops towards the north east. They, similar to those on foot could hit the area around Chicago any moment now.

((Both of those people can RP finding me. Those in Chicago, my horsemen will be in your land by your next post, those in British columbia, you would have a high chance of finding me, if not, I'll walk into your land sooner or later.))

The Texas Rangers:

With the two Humvees running out of fuel, the captain thought it was in the best interest to leave the Humvees but the completely disabled the vehicles. the other men sit in the modified trunks of the vehicles. Jacob sees the loss of a couple Humvees. He is frustrated tell he is told about the amount of fuel he received form the scavengers.

Jacob orders men to mobilize to deal with a threat of a West Texas faction holed up in Witicha Falls, ten thousand troops move down high I35 accompanied by 2 Humvees. Most the troops armed with M4s, hunting rifles and, double barrel shotguns. The remaining people in the city are armed with muskets, pistols, machetes/swords, spears, and Bows.

---

Mod Actions:

The Scavengers from the City-state find 2 books: 1 is in great condition it being a book about Nazi Germany and the Blitzkriegs and another being a book about green tech giving information about Wind Turbines and Solar panels but doesn't give any detail on how to build them.

In other news the Nomads that they found weren't so friendly after all about 20 of the men from the tribe approach the men seeming increasingly hostile, as the City-states scouts raise their muskets the men charge at the scouts all shooting the muskets simultaneously hitting 10 of them but only killing 5 but this is enough to scare off the Nomads as they rush back to the rest of their tribe carrying their wounded away but leaving the dead. The scouts retreat back to the camp.

The Zulu

For years the lands that were once the Union of South Africa lay quiet and barren. All technology and hope destroyed by the selfishness of Germany. But, it wasn't the end of the once proud African nation. Survivors began to venture out and explore what remained of their homes from years ago. Those lucky to have survived often would pray for many hours every night. But even as survivors still existed, much was no more. When all hope was lost the people of South Africa chose came together to survive the harsh times and began to look to their heritage for guidance. They would call themselves, the Zulu.

With the remaining survivors reformed under the Zulu all of its people had returned to the three original capitals of the Zulu uMgungundlovu, Bulawayo, and Ulundi. They remained untouched from heavy nuclear bombardment aside from the disease that ravaged the world. A new life is set and the people begin to adjust to the new world, focusing on cleaning up their new homes and working in mines and on farms to provide the needed resources for The Zulu people.

The military of The Zulu began known as is cultural heritage warriors. The Impi, fearless warriors with knowledgeable tactics. The Impi held little modern weaponry so they are mainly equipped with spears and shields. The entire military numbered at 400,000 while out of wartime to keep the workforce as the main priority. A large regiment numbering 600 Impis is sent  in search of the historical capital Pretoria in hopes of finding any past knowledge left behind from the Last War and possibly gaining information to begin settling the rest of South Africa.. A second regiment is also sent up to Central Africa to in hopes of finding additional resources that could benefit The Zulu in their growth.

Empire of the Dragon

The Imperial army had taken shape, and all the supplies needed were loaded onto wagons. The following day, the Imperial Army started the march east, to make war on the coastal kingdom of Wu. Nearly 10,000 men were legitimately considered Imperial Troops, armed with steel tower shields, shot guns, and semi automatic rifles. A further 10,000 were considered Imperial Auxiliary, lightly armored men with a variety of guns and muskets. Then came the bulk of the army, 40,000 Imperial Militia. Not known for their prowess, their only advantage was strategy and numbers. The majority carried bamboo spears, tower shields with a roaring dragon painted on it, or bow and arrow. The army marched at a slow pace, picking up supplies and reinforcements as they marched through the various provinces.

The army reached its detination as it linked up with the easternmost provincial army, waiting for the Imperial Army to arrive before invading the Wu. The Provincial army numbered 800 Dragon Knights and 2,000 Imperial Auxiliaries. Diplomats are sent to the Kingdom of Wu's capital, demanding they merge into the Empire Dragon as a province, or die. If they dared refused, the Imperial Army would immediately march on them, and spare none but those who surrendered. The Wu are given a week to reply.

The remaining Dragon Knights left to Su'Zu in the Imperial capital are tasked throughout the Empire, to begin training up a certain amount of each towns male population. With each town assured some protection by a local garrison, the Imperial Army would be able to focus on expanding the Empire's territories, rather then lawing over them.

Su'Zu chose to not reply to the radio broadcast, but did send scouts north into Mongolia and Russia, to find out what they could of the land.

Kamloops, BC.

RCMP.jpg

My grandfather used to tell me that the great forests of British Columbia were once at risk. That men in the past would cut down trees by the mountain-full. I find it hard to imagine a time when mankind could tame something as harsh and wild as the Canadian Wilderness. Once we had roads, but outside the city now is only wilderness.

In town, progress is good. Local natives of Haida and Coast Salish descent have aided us in our hunting, meat and fish is far more common than vegetables and fruit these days, some people have begun to catch cases of scurvy.

Trouble brews for the mounties however, I sent a detachment of five hundred lawmen on route to Kelowna, we had heard of a heavily armed group of weapon's dealer attempting to control that city after the local chapter of Neo-Mounties curpstomped their operation within the walls. It has been two weeks since they last sent messages via horseback. I fear the worst.

The winter was especially harsh for the people of Kamloops. We got upwards to five feet this year. Frostbite and hypothermia took many lifes. Frozen corpses are not a rarity on our streets. Our jobs as mounties now including disposal of disease carrying dead.

Nevertheless, in light of weapons dealers, Canadian winters, and sickness, we must perservere.

The true north shall remain strong and free.

=Deputy Commander, Sebastien Shen=

Meanwhile, a hunting party consisting of Coast Salish hunters and Neo Mountie lawmen encounter the scouting party from the Lost Tribes of Australia.

((Up to you to decide what happens first between us, Conor.))

400 of the better trained militiamen are sent to Chicago. They would send twenty scouts to get a good location of the nomads and their numbers. When enough reconaissance had been conducted, they would wait for nightfall before encircling the camp and slaughtering the nomads. Then, they would loot.

lateral-release-surgery-alternative.jpg

Three groups of five runners are sent away from the city state. One group would travel towards the Vancouver area, one towards the Great lake in order to scope out the area as it stands now, and the last team towards the eastern coast, in what would be Connecticut.

The aboriginal messengers are warmly welcomed. They spend nearly two weeks in the City-State, enjoying several visits to the Vodka hall. Finally, they are sent back with new supplies, gifts of iron and coal, along with a masterfully engraved hunting musket for their leader.

Talks of establishing a Standing Military is proposed in the Congress. It receives heavy discussion, but chances are it'll be passed by the politicians. Uniforms are drafted, along with special roles and ranks.

REINO DE NUEVO HAVANA

The scout sloop finding absolutely nothing on it's mission into the Gulf convinced Rey Alfonso of the need for more funding in scouting. The sturdiest of the newly build sloops has been loaded with sugar, tobacco, and a crate full of nickel bars which the crew hopes to pass off for iron or silver, all of it destined to sail up the Mississippi River in search of  people to trade with. The ship is crewed by thirty hardened salty sailors, some armed with muskets and others with machetes, but all with muscle. The ship leaves the port of Nueva Havana under the command of the Infante Fernando himself, son of el Rey, bearing the flag of red saltire on gold.
