Diplomats are invited from the following realms to participate in a large-scale diplomatic meeting and ball within the palace of Veracruz, during which diplomacy and trade within the Americas will be discussed:

-Wardom of New England

-Hanford Dwellers

-Salish Northwest

-Yukon Republic

 

Those who do not attend are warned that they will still be subject to the will of the Congress.

 

~Empire of Honshu~

 

King Fernando agrees that serious negotiations must take place between the Honshu and Veracruz. He sends the highest ranking diplomats to the Japanese homeland to discuss terms with Honshu and Australia.

The Republic of Kuanesh

 

 

 

By now, the damage from the Typhoon had been completely repaired, the glory of the republic once again restored. A thriving industry had developed around fishing and trade between the colonies, and so from the port of Garuda, white sails were now always seen on the horizon. Mass emigration from the capital to the prosperous new towns was even now evening out the population, as the last few islands in the Indonesian sea are colonized.

 

From Australia, steel and coal flow throughout the republic. With this supply, munitions factories begin to experiment with artillery and other weaponry. The mines in New Guinea turn out gold and copper, the former spawning its own market, while the latter is used to repair electronics mostly. To secure oil, teams of armed scouts are sent into the tunnels below Kuanesh vault, their mission to secure and restart the oil wells present there.

 

The presence of the Cuban scum in the Philippines was an outrage: the southern Philippines were Indonesian territory under the sphere of influence treaty, and there was no chance that a weak foreigner would be allowed to trespass. A letter is delivered to the Japanese with the expectation that they will pass it on to the Cubans if and when they see fit in their negotiations.

The Salish Northwest

 

2000 Civilians and 1000 mounties head west to the Pacific Coast, there they would find the ruined city of Vancouver. They begin to set up a forward camp, specifically at English Bay. A dock begins construction and soon the Salish will have a place to build seafaring ships. ((3 Pages))

A Delegation of 500 Mounties and Potentate Sebastien Shen rides East, to Cuba. They attend the meeting of Velacruz.

More and more mounties are garrisoned up in the Red Plains. Soon upwards to 17000 Armed Mounties live in the garrison there, supported by the growing wheat farms of Salish controlled Alberta. They begin a hard training regimen. It seems something would happen soon.

~Ceremonies~
In some nations the ends of battles are sad, especially those with many losses. But not in the Wardom. They have accepted the death that comes with being a brave warrior, their motto has become "Only the Brave Die". It is an honor to die in combat, albeit you are missed... but instead of being mourned, you are celebrated. A great festival occurs in The Tip and all the numerous settlements that litter New England and the Eastern Edge of what used to be New York State. Children laugh and play war-games, foot-races and wrestling tournaments occur. A grand gladiator battle is held in honor of the fallen. 

 

~Politics~

Meanwhile the Warrior Queen and Warrior King complete a voyage to Cuba on the nation's diplomatic ship. The two step off the boat with swords at their hips and rifles on their backs. Each is adorned in their Royal Robes and flanked by their highest ranking diplomats, traders, and priests of Mars. They bear gifts of apples that had been picked before the Winter had fallen.

 

Directly behind them is a small company of 50 elite soldiers adorned in black iron armor from the head to toe with short stabbing swords, shields, and rifles. 

The Royals flanked by their retinue make their way into the congress... an intimidating air about them.

The Federation of South Germany

 

 

Winter was finally over and the South German Federation was thriving. A part of nearly 10,000 men traverse the Alps on foot, laying down railroad tracks in their wake. Soon a single line while be constructed between Vienna and the old city of Milan [2]. It becomes apparent that the South German Federation desires a port. Soon, travelers move further south, toward the former Northwest Italian coast. A permanent settlement, as well as a trading port is to be established. Pioneers and survivors just arriving in the Federation to immigrate there. 

 

A group of scouts hear rumors of a civilization to the west in what used to be called France. In Koblenz, a party prepares to head out to formally establish proper contact. The group is anxious, yet cautious. Rather than identify themselves as South German scouts, they dress like ragged nomads, arming themselves lightly with small arms and setting out toward Paris. What they find there is yet to be discovered, if anything. [Mod]

The Honshu

After some time, the Honshu believe that a restoration of a united Asia would be better suited for the area. This proposal is put forth to the Indonesians before communications with the outside world are cut off. before this however, blueprints for all known technology are sent to Australia, Indonesia, and Thailand.

​The Wardom Of New England 

The large shrine to mars is surrounded by people. The various representatives and leaders from the various nations are surrounded by almost every civilian-warrior from the surrounding villages and even some from Blue-Town... the farthest settlement! Vows are exchanged and two swords, freshly smithed, are engraved with an Eagle with the names of the two newly weds... "Boudicca and Ebb". Two Praetorian guards approach the couple and adorn them in their choice armor.

 

 

 

 

The procession makes their way into the Coliseum, the various countries sitting on the right side of the Arena and the rest of the people sitting everywhere else. A small company of guards stand beside the foreigners to prevent any assassination attempts. The couple set foot in the arena and begin to cut down beast after beast, barbarian after barbarian. The move like one, slicing and stabbing with grace. The battle has only just begun.

The conference in Cuba goes on, the various factions now debating borders and trade. But the Salish had gotten almost everything they had wanted, and the soon to be united factions of America had made a collective decision.

 

A letter is addressed to the savages in the Yukon.

It has been decided that in the interest of the continent, you and all your lands are to be ceded to the Salish Northwest, and your resources opened to be extracted by any member of the North American coalition. Your government is also to be dissolved immediately. You have no army and we know your winter is crippling you. 

Don't be stupid, fight and your people will be degraded and enslaved like the savages they are, surrender and your leaders shall receive quick deaths, and your people will be shown mercy."

Meanwhile, Vancouver has been colonized and a working dock in English bay is well under construction. Small non-militant boats for scouting and travel and fishing are made.

Gothic Tribe of Greenland

 

The production of the additions to the fleet was going well, with just over half of the commissioned ships completed and ready to sail. ((4 pages remaining))

 

As the fleet's completion neared, the High Gothi ordered the Blacksmiths of Bregthor to begin producing guns for the invasion force. The guns would be relatively simple, just breech-loaded rifles, basic enough to be made in mass amounts. Enough are planned to be made for each Gothic Crusader. ((4 pages))

 

As well as this, being told by one of his Gothi that the peoples of Europe would also undoubtedly have ironclad vessels, the High Gothi made another request to the Blacksmiths of Bregthor. With the normal shells the Soknbatrs used in their cannons, wrought iron armour proved to be heavily resistant. Because of this, a new type of shell would be needed to defeat any European ironclads, an armour-piercing shell. After consulting the leading gunsmith, it is established that this type of shell could indeed be done. The gunsmith begins work on the shell, and estimates he will be done in a few months. The Wardom of New England

The arena was packed, hundreds of screaming and cheering people filling the tightly packed seating space. Soon, the couple enters the stage, the first group of slaves pouring out from all around. Soon, the fighting begins. Steel crashes against steel, the sounds of both battle and glee filling the arena.

 

Outside of the arena, a small army is watching the grounds of the arena. But suddenly, a massive explosion rocks the arena behind them. What happens next is pure chaos. Screams of freedom and democracy, liberty and equality ring out. Gladiators charge the security forces with what they have, killing as many as they can. The entire right side of the arena is blown off, the new Queen was dead and the War King was no where to be found (let Heff decide what happens to him). Soon, the gladiators and other slaves massacre the civilians, filling the city with terror. Small fires erupt all over the city, a full scale rebellion beginning.

 

From the ashes of the arena rises one thing, a symbol of the rebellion. Old Glory. 

 

 

The Brothers of Stalingrad

The horde had reached the outskirts of Stalingrad, nearly 100,000 nomadic warriors, not including their own families. Soon, a warning volley of primitive cannons and catapults pound the city of Stalingrad, the leader of the horde and nearly three dozen of his guard ride out to the walls of the city, shouting out in Russian, a language the men had picked up after destroying so many homes.

The Imperial Republic of the Pacific

 

 

The two nations of Kuanesh and Japan had grown close over the past few years. Their shared heritage allowed them to relate to each other, and when unrest grew in Japan over the sudden broadening of executive power, it was to Kuanesh that the citizens turned.

 

Integration was swift, as the old regime fell and the entire Honshu republic was absorbed into the Indonesian state. Republican rule of law fell over the islands of the Pacific under a single domain at last.

 

Previous trade agreements with Honshu are upheld, and citizens of Indonesia enjoy the new supply of oil from Brunei and the Philippines. The Cubans present in the south Philippines surrender their colony and go home.

 

There is piece, for the most part. The government focuses on consolidating the nation, as new oil wells are set up in Brunei and the Philippines, and coal provides power. The republic quickly develops a complex and thriving economy, as goods are transported across the islands. The population now stands at 3,200,000.
