*Posters are hung up in Abresi*

"Fellow Citizens of Abresi! This may come as a shock to you, but right here, right now, Demons of the North walk among you! Even now, they spy on all of us, in the forms of normal people, doing normal things! They may be anything! Guards, Shopkeepers, who knows the Lengths of Evil these Demons will go to! There is only one way to tell if your neighbour is a Demon! But fortunately, it is simple! See their height! It surely is impossible for any normal Man to be over the height of six feet! Watch for these Demons, and do not let them near you! Watch for the Scourge of the North, and Defend your City!"

Okay, logic behind this post is this. There are /way/ too many people playing six foot tall characters. I understand not wanting to be a short person, but you could at least have the decency to play the normal height. Before you start your arguments of "Oh, but I know a person in school who's 6'1," People in Medieval times were much, much shorter. I'm not asking you to play 5'5 characters, but come on! The average height I see right now is 6'4.

((In the Medieval times people were short due to under-nutrition(didn't get much protein for example) and being sickly as children due to all the filth and all that. The rich people who ate meat and stuff were generally a lot taller. In LOTC, everyone eats lots of meat and bread so people would be as tall as they are now and I know a lot of 6 footers.))

You're 6'5 because you're the outcome of selective breeding and healthier life styles that have been passed on from generation to generation. Many people in medieval times were much shorter than today. Due to the crap diet and the fact that the life style literally crushed people's health.

You don't grow properly when all you have to eat is potatoes, bread and some shitty coloured stew made up of rats and bones to eat in meager supplies all the time.

But not everyone you meet is 6ft.

((Maybe LOTC is Holland then which has an average height of somewhere around 6ft-6ft2(sources varied). And why does it matter if everyone is 6ft anyway? That just means that in this world that is a pretty normal height and not pretty tall like it is in the real world.))

((Umm...in LOTC we don't eat crap stuff though. The characters eat plenty of meat and vegetables and they don't live in squalor.

BTW they didn't have potatoes until the renaissance mate.))

((Necromancers don't affect nutrition. And how about you actually read my posts on how our characters' nutrition is very different from medieval times, eh?))

A bunch of rather short demons from the north read Tue posters and let out a collective sigh of relief.

"good... The decoys have done their jobs..." one of then states. They all wander off to do culty things.

Raziel walks alone in Abresi, with his hands in his cloak pockets as usually. He then stumbles upon one of the atrocious posters and reads it carefully.

Raziel finishes reading the poster, he sighs and walks off... making sure the BloodStone is still in his pocket.

(Raziel is 6'2)
