Enchantments. They provide an unfair MC advantage to players who can write long lore posts and spend an hour rping. I would be okay with Unbreaking, Punch, and Knockback. But Sharpness, Power, Fire Aspect, and any other damage increasing buffs. Please vote on the poll and voice your opinion if you wish.

They are in the game to give an advantage. They are enchantments. That is their primary purpose.

All the bigger loss when you kill them and take it, I guess. Seems pretty fair to me risk/reward wise.

If you're referring to the ones from the enchanting plugin, anybody can get them. If not, then I'll let you know that GM's pretty much never add MC enchantments to RP'ly enchanted items, so there shouldn't be a whole lot of worry about this.

Also, what Freya said.

Enchanted weapons don't come from lore posts, they come from the enchantment plugin which is available to everyone.

Also, from what I'm told, they removed all these enchantments from the plugin, so I think this is already done. That, or I was misled by someone who does a lot of enchanting, which is also possible.

Don't really see why you would want to remove them.

They give an unfair advantage, in my opinion. We have lived without it and can continue.

Yes, I had an incident where a weapons was bound to a player's character, so when they died, it came back to them. I wouldn't mind a couple of those weapons, but not mass produced.

Yes. But not everything that can be made to give a group an advantage needs to be in game. The orcs could have a racial buff that increases damage, but that would provide an unfair advantage in some peoples' eyes.

Yeah, things in there, like Unbreaking and Punch, and okay. But I prefer sharpness and things alike to stay out of game.

There are some weapons, in the past, that have been enchanted because of lore. I would not mind RP enchanting, but I think PvP enchanting isn't needed.

Sounds pretty fair, everyone has it so it's not an 'unfair' advantage. x3

I've never heard of this happening ever. How would that work anyway?

As long as everyone can get them. I know that some groups can get like sharp 3 I believe, or atleast they aquired that.

****, I had a sharp 1 sword and had to turn it in.

Alright Gavin, I do not know if this is entirely relevant, but does this post by any chance hold any relation to a Fire Aspect iron sword that is (most likely) in the hands of an Orenien solider?
