Yes, from having brought many players to the server and guided them through the process, I have an intricate understanding of what the AT is looking for in regards to player's starting knowledge of the lore and the standards expected when applying to a roleplaying server. Why you want to be an AT member? I want to be an AT member because I have the capacity to be active and contribute to the team. I've been a part of the server for over a year now, so yes am confident that I do. Why you want to be an AT member? Since joining the server, the application team has always been something I felt strongly about joining. I was previously a Guide and mentor and thoroughly enjoyed interacting with newer members of the server. I believe I can implement this as an AT member due to the fact that the AT are the first people to connect with these members. I can also be active and committed to my role and guarantee I will take it seriously and maturely. I'm very active on the forums and would like to assist in minimizing the wait an applicant may experience before being accepted or denied. Yes, I have a very solid grasp on the lore and am looking to improve my knowlege all the time. I have been a member for about a year and a half but have not been very active on the forums, but am looking to be more now. I also have a very good Idea on what is needed to become a member of LOTC, and the requirments of an application. Why you want to be an AT member? I would like to become an AT member ecuase almost every day I go and look at applications wanting to comment on where they can improve or give them praise for their App. However I feel like recently there has been an influx of many very short, not thought out Apps coming in. I dont know If the standards have changed, but I know my app took me at least an hour to complete. Very strong grip, yes, as I've been here over a year and a half now. Why you want to be an AT member? I want to be an AT member to help increase how many good RPers get into the server, as well as to help those who might not be 100% ready. I'd also like to going in order to give back to the server the large amount it's given me. New players are the most important aspect of the server. Without them, LOTC would go downhill fast. For a year I ran a guild that catered almost purely to new members of the community, a guild that became very popular over time. I like reading apps and I like seeing more people join the community. Yep, i'm sure I do. something% positive. Why you want to be an AT member? I spend about, 99% of my time on the forum being bored and doing nothing, so, why not spend 50% of the time being bored reading peoples silly applications and somewhat helping the server? Anyway, RPing with the same people all the time gets boring, and some races need lots of new players in them (such as dwarves, and orcs) to bring more new RP, by being AT I reckon I could help get these new players in faster . I'm not quite as stupid as I seem to be, I'd be able to write proper helpful responses to the applicants being denied/i'd be able to see which applications are good enough to be accepted. Although I was denied a few times the support I was given was amazing. I was able to get an amazing experience on the server and on the forums. As well as the Standards. I have been a VAT and AT for this server once before, so I have great understanding of the expectations for the server applications. Why you want to be an AT member?1. Rejoin the team - As a former AT (Back when the AT started) I'd like to come back to the team, and continue helping out. 2. Make terrible puns in AT chat while doing work - Otherwise I might go bonkers. 3. Give me some busywork on the forums instead of stalking all the threads. 4. Well, since the VAT went bankrupt, I didn't really know where to go. So one day i was hit by Falkor's Spartan Shield while he yelled Ahoo, I didn't really like that that much. So I decided to throw away my spartan colors and try and wait for the day that I would be able to put back on my fancy monocle and tux, and be a sporting AT chap once more. 5. I really in all seriousness want to assist in any way possible that isn't GMing, so I've decided that App team would be the best route for this kind of assistance. 6. As being a member of LoTC for years and witnessed many carry on the server and as I gaze upon it's wonderful ways, I do believe I have a good understanding for the standards made for the server and applications. Why do you want to be a AT member? Being with the AT I think it serves a great purpose towards LoTC as everyone here had to be accepted at one point, that being said I wish to continue this and help the server out with applications, as I have been a member for a few years I have witnessed the lore changes than also different character and the application changes at that and I do think that I can be up to the challenge of becomming a AT to help out the server as it has done for me in the past. This being said I may have no experience elsewhere but my knowledge is good and I think it would be a very good starting experience for me to help out new players through PM's to help them if they have troubles (without giving answers) than also with seeing if the players are up to the challenge of the servers acceptance. I have a lot of spare time on my hands, although school is comming up soon I would even than be apart of the community as much now as than, just being different times of the day. Yes, I do, I was a former ATeam member and I continue to keep up on current lore by coming on the server every so often, and forum lurking. Why you want to be an AT member? As being a former ATeam member I enjoyed the experience, and, now having more time on my hands, and wishing to give back to the community more I would like to rejoin the team, read some apps, enjoy the stories, and help those who need it by accepting, or in other cases explaining why I did not accept various apps to the writers. 3 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
