Do you feel you have a solid grasp on our lore and an understanding of the standards we have for applications? I believe so, I've spent a good amount of time talking to people about LotC and I spend some time on the wiki(Still looking for that Kralta article...) As for the standards, I consider myself a bit of a hardass as when I did applications on another server, I didn't accept people unless they put in the effort and showed RP knowledge, so I may be a bit more or less.

 

Why you want to be an AT member? I spend a considerable amount of time on the forums so I figure I can put some of that time into application reading :D

Why you want to be an AT member?: Well, the server needs people to do it so I am applying. I will not get the job, but whatever. Also, I feel it is important to note that I am conservative in my political beliefs.

Do you feel you have a solid grasp on our lore and an understanding of the standards we have for applications? I would like to think that I understand most major lore for this server, probably with the exception of Orcs and Kharajyr. However the rest (ie. major race lore and locations) I think I’ll be fine with.

 

          As for standards, I'm not sure how my standards are compared to what the requirement is, as in I'm not sure if I’ll be too strict or too lenient. But yes, I think I may be a little more lenient than strict. Despite this, I have had every application I have posted for this server accepted in one go, thought I think that sounds like bragging… Nonetheless it could be proof that I have knowledge with the standards of applications.

 

 

Why you want to be an AT member? Honestly, I want to help out the staff, in the 9 or so months that I have been here the staff have been doing an amazing job, even the ones which others claim aren't. I have some experience in reviewing apps for my own personal role-play server, but I hardly think that would called experience in this team. I tend to spend much, much more times on the forums than in-game, due to me not having much to do lately, so I think I could try using my time on the forums better via being on the Application Team.  I also only go to school two days a week, so I may have more time to review applications, even in American times. I just hope that if I'm accepted, I'm up to the standards that you have.

Why you want to be an AT member? Well, I do have a good understanding of basic and standard lore. And while I was applying I really thought I got the gist and the idea of what a good application should be. I am on the forums everyday trying to entertain my self, though, I find nothing to do. I feel that helping the AT will be a fantastic use of my time. And I am willing to finally volunteer to the server that I enjoy s much, by spending time to decide who is worthy to play on our fantastic server.

Do you feel you have a solid grasp on our lore and an understanding of the standards we have for applications?: Yes, I am very sure that I have a firm grasp of our lore and the ever-changing nations of Anthos. And I do know the standards for the applications, though some that I do not agree with, but either way... I know and accept them.

 

Why you want to be an AT member?: I don't know why, but I've always wanted to be a part of the app team. I suppose it could be simply the thought of helping out new players and contributing to the community, but also that feeling of control you have when looking at the fate of someone's server career on a screen before you. 

 

On another note, I love to read and I also love giving advice to push someone that little bit harder that they open their mind and rethink most things. Helping people is somewhat of a passion of mine and that's what I think the Application Team will help me do.. Moreso than any other staff position.

I've applied for the Application Team before, and it was actually right before the applications were removed... I wish to help the community more than anything and I already read applications without being on the application team..

After my nearly 2 and a half years of experience on the server, I certainly think I'm capable.

 

Why you want to be an AT member?

 

I mostly wish to help new comers get on the right track and to accept those who show true dedication and determination behind their application in to the community so they can experience the immeasurable amounts of fun I've had on the server. I'd also like to help the AT clear through applications quicker so that souls have to spend less time waiting and the rest of the AT has more time to themselves. I can also spend a lot of the free time I have (which is usually spent doing literally nothing) finally doing something both productive and helpful toward the server, which is something I feel  I really should do after the years of entertainment it's provided me with.

Why you want to be an AT member?: I enjoy my time on the VAT, and with that team gone, I when I saw this thread pop up, I decided to apply. (I'm really applying just to spy for the VAT.... jkjkjkjkjk.) I'm just sorta, lingering around the forums and in-game now, hopefully this can being me back fully to LOTC.
