Alright so recently the Conclave was hit by an attack by the antag's. The cultist had approached the Conclave to preach the Holy (Dark) word of their leader when the Conclave called for PvP, what follows next is the wording of the people on BOTH sides to talk to each other.

I will gladly report any side that goes for personal flamewars; if you start the fire I will douse it, with my hat

See that Avatar? Scary stuff there, fear it.

So post your comments, your feedback, and keep it COOL

Honestly, I was going to throw my own clever spin on it, but you honestly just summed it up.

I wasn't present at the battle, but I heard reports of the Dwarven antagonist using a spell-plugin of their own in their most recent raid on the Conclave. Why does a minor antagonist have a superior plugin to the actual server antagonist, as claimed by Black Scourge members? Or at all, actually, alongside enchanted gear.

Me being one of the only survivors, found that the magic plugin was too OP. Stop spamming spells, first time I've been fighting against the antags in a raid, and it wasn't fun.

Well, at first I thought it would be pretty fun, though I admit we trolled before any fighting started (Sorry CountJuno).  As soon as the fighting started, ice blocks appeared everywhere suffocating people, pigmen with blocky heads that could 2 shot me spawned, along with whither skeletons. I was killed by Kowaman (nice job ;) ) with an enchanted sword, and from what I saw, it was a complete slaughterfest of spamming these two antag plugins repeatedly, and the Conclave lost a 9 v 20ish battle. There was no broadcast that the antag was attacking, and the tree in front of the gate was magically turned into ice or somethin.

The Conclave has been attacked by the antags like 3 times in the past 2 days. Please, calm your f.ucking trigger fingers and gives us a break. Heero and Bloodknight spammed whither skeletons on top of the inn yesterday until there were like 100, and now we got attacked today with this.

These events, frankly, suck ass, and I have no idea why they happened in the first place. There is zero RP behind it, and frankly, I enjoyed the orc raid more than this.

You mean in today alone, right? Because that was number 3.

I was RPing with a group of about six people, alone, locked in our house, and we were shot not once- but twice, with the "ice block" spell.

I thought it was pretty lame.
There was no RP leading up to it,
and I was killed without even actually being a part of the fight.

I don't really care about my pixely items,
but the most recent event was annoying at best.
(P.S. If there was RP leading up to it, I wasn't aware of it and my statement is retracted.)

Just to confirm a few things from our point of view:

  • The dwarven antagonists went into the Conclave, preaching the word of their god.
  • There was a lot of RP leading up the fight, though the elves eventually counted down to PvP.
  • A long fight broke out, that unfortunately seemed to escalate across the entire city. People who weren't involved in the event were likely killed.
  • A lot of us wanted to lose the event as after all, this is only supposed to act as introduction. I'm sorry it couldn't have ended better for the elven side, though I believe you did manage to kill us all in the end.

Please understand that this has been a sort of a test day for the dwarf antag plugin. The outcome was either that players would agree to convert to their god or else they'd tried to fight the antagonist from their city. However, if any of these preaching type of events happen in future, we'll make sure to bring no more than two people and prohibit anyone from using mob-spawning in capitals outside of fully planned events.

I wish to give prior notice that Im chill despite the utter disheveled situation - Good Game to the Antags.

1. Mormons with Snowglobes for heads.

2. I love how a certain player trying to say we "auto-PvPed" despite my having screenshots to show that I told the Mormons to leave the premises multiple times. The lie of "we were here to preach not fight" is revealed by their not acquiescing to the requests I made. They sat bump-idle at our soulstone pillar and I have an individual who claims to have seen one of the antags SS back into the battle.

3. Whoever designed the dwarf antag plugin was not moderated as they twisted it to their ulterior motives as seen by the lack of earnest test and balance of it all.

4. You attacked at Midnight, for the college and "other" folk, this is no problem - but I see it as a low-brow maneuver for those in public school. The Conclave is an EST main place - you attacked at Midnight.

5. You killed non-combatants that didn't even move. ZeedusFrostBlood for example. Now that is just ghetto.

Just to confirm a few things from out point of view:

  • The dwarven antagonists went into Abresi, preaching the word of their god.

This was not Abresi, this was Sanctuary- the Conclave.

Whelp...I was one of two survivors. Quite frankly I think the actual part post rp was a bit expected to be hard, and I won't judge. That said the rp prior was lovely, and it served its purpose. The people saying otherwise probably are just sore that they lost the battle and that skews their entire beliefs on the ordeal. So lets talk about the rp prior. The event didn't seem to have a inherent intent to attack. It was the players who started that fight and you can't win everything. Six? Cultists with notable magic abilities are expected to put up a fight and I am going to attribute the loss to the people who fled and the lack of much effort as a whole from the defenders.

That said there  was a lot of confusion. At first it seemed as though we shouldn't attack the cultists (And I do believe I got kicked for shooting one). That added to the issue. Though once more I state it's fine that you lose every now and again, the problem is we can't have such big events during this time of night (It's 12 am on a school night). The PVP itself was a bit of a cluster ****, but whatever.

Now what really pissed me off was after PVP Was called off, I was still being attacked by one of them (Heero?), who was casting spells and summoning mobs. That in itself is unacceptable and should never have happened. As a whole the event had it's ups and downs, and it is unfair to say it completely sucked. It had it's good sides (The RP was sufficient) and its bad (PVP balance...However 20-ish? people vs 6 seems feasible. And again, sometimes it's good to lose).

P.S.

Soul stoners, you died in that zone, you shouldn't be coming back anyway! 30 minute rule still applies, and all those who DID soulstone before that broke that rule.

That said, last I checked raid rules weren't given to antag groups because it limits them. They are heavily (Or supposed to be) moderated and many GMs are present. I am quite sure that's not the issue.

Also not to mention people tried SS'ing back to the conclave after their death to head home. I for one was one of those people and was killed 4 times before I actually made it to my house. The PVP was over. Antags ran away from the fight and dragged it through all of conclave. Keep it in 1 area. Once you kill 95% of us I think the battle was over.

You dont have to stay there for an extra 5 minutes and PVP other people with your stupid glaves that throw you into an ice block and 1 shots you.

I also think heerozero needs to read the raid rules -

http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/105401-an-update-and-clarification-on-raids-and-skirmishes/

Dwarven antags attacked yesterday and today and Heerozero attacked twice prior to that as an antag battle.
