Conclave Vs. Drawf Antag/antag Feedback

Now its happened, there's nothing we or any other group can do about the events that have taken place. The Antagonist and teams involved should've tested their plugins and compiled a logical outcome before putting this in motion. I myself don't understand why this isn't compulsory to test in private then to have the chance of this happening.

 

My personal suggestion is to look over your tools more often and ask are these actually positive. Now we'll have to move on from the excuses and insults from both parties to improve the situation.

Let me make an addendum - everyone needs to get better at communicating. You have the luxury of being behind a computer screen, so no shyness or whatever. Just calmly contact Josh3738 or Spuller and recommend some changes. Stop with the passive-aggressive comments, stop with the snide ass remarks, you aren't cool and stop acting like ghetto arses from the MTV show "Yo Mama". You aren't clowning anyone. Most of you are in some form of school, take this as training about how to write a decent ass paragraph of text.

And I think you guys need to tone it down and test it at a different hub for once and not test every raid or have every raid at the conclave. Also pay attention to people when they ask for status's. I would like to note mobs cant see your status's. Also, the dwarven antagonist has only shown up to the conclave twice, the first time we died without even killing anyone.

Due to my ability to get myself in trouble, I will not post a comment. Only agree that this was a poorly planned event and Pvp was abused. With that, this conversation should be ended. It's more then obvious by the total tallied votes that this was a bad scenario. Antags, please learn to use your spells accordingly or have a tech member place a Cool down on the spells.

Further addendum. Feedback posts are pointless, they've proven over and over to turn into a billy-clubbing match over the internet where egos clash in epic displays of snarky text. Learn to communicate, you'll eventually have to take a Public Speaking class in college. If you can't master sending a decent-intended, well-written paragraph of text to someone privately and having a calm, collected conversation - Lawd help ya.

Oh, its certainly received plenty of testing before it was implemented. In any event prior to today, players have found themselves absolutely fine with it and we've received mostly positive feedback. What we tried to do differently today was create scenarios without warnings beforehand. These did not necessarily have to descend into PvP however.

 

I think the issue is that considering the defenders weren't prepared, there were far too many of us and we had both dwarven and main server antagonists there at once. As I said though, this won't be happening again in future as we'll be banning the use of mob-spawning inside capital cities so as to reduce the risk of any no RP kills and restrict any preaching inside capital cities to two antagonists at once.

 

You have to bear in mind that dwarf and orc players are naturally accustomed to PvP and so we have to tone things down a bit when we go to other cities. It's also worth noting that we get absolutely nothing out of this. These events are aimed to be for your enjoyment, not ours and so I'd appreciate any productive forms of feedback you can offer. Obviously here we didn't succeed and so it's important for you to express to us what needs to be changed.

You sound extremely butthurt over the fact that people are pointing out your flaws in hope that you will get your act straight and fix it. There is no reason to make such sarcastic comments as it only angers people. If you are going to play as an antagonist don't be a narcissist.

 

I really don't want to be rude, I really don't want to be a jerk, and in no way when am I meaning to be sarcastic when I that... but you yourself sound a wee bit butthurt... I mean quite simply a decent bit of the comments posted on this thread and what has been said in the status updates has been quite snarky  and rude. We're all human beings and we're all in the same boat here.

 

 

I whole heartedly believe that what the Dwarven Antagonists say here are the truth, from what it seems to me this is a new thing, some things need to be fixed and tweaked when they're first made. If anything it's not even these players whose fault this is, it'd be the techies who made the plug-in... but why are we even going to try to blame people here? We should just say what's good, what's bad, and what's ugly... (In a nice way)

Personally - Dont call yourselves dwarven antag. Respect raid rules and dont get special treatment because viper allows it. That seems like favoritism. 

 

Just be an antag. Not "Dwarven" antag. Also - You guys need to watch your PVP alot. There were lots of people who were killed because you guys trapped them in the ice boxes that werent apart of the event. Just because PVP happens doesnt mean it becomes a PVP server. Also - I think you need to balance out your staffs. You guys spam the living hell out of that ice box and it needs to have a longer cool down. I get trapped every 3 seconds after already being trapped by a "dwarven" antag.
