Draeris 3124 Share Posted February 8, 2014 Ellessa saw him as a challenge, but her Tyrell elegance never betrayed her. As she grabbed him towards her, almost mouth to mouth. She made an elegant spin with him like a doll, she leading the dance. She imagined the masquerade music as she replied "Ellessa Tyrell sir, yours?" After she asked the question, she started spinning with him on the deck, her ice blue eyes looking into his (?). As dusk arose, the atmosphere turned romantic, perhaps she could charm him, and be close tied through this adventure.
Lyuin 65 Share Posted February 8, 2014 Hugh followed her lead, expecting his own footwork to fail him but it was not the case. Whilst not matching the elegance the lady was showing he tried his best. Then he heard her name and froze for the slightest moment, his features quickly putting on a light smile "m'lady, I didn't expect to be dancing with a Tyrell or one with such elegance at that. My name is Hugh Raelthon." He looked into her eyes and smiled.
Draeris 3124 Share Posted February 8, 2014 Chuckles "Sir Raelthon, a honour to meet you on this pleasant dusk. Perhaps we could fancy ourselves with a duet, a song from ice and fire. Afterall, for an amateur your dance is quite good." She continues to dance, looking into his ice like some sort of enchantment. For a moment, she forgot she was sailing to god knows where. with people who would stab her eventually. Question was, would he stab her when it came to it? Perhaps those people were as unstable as Joffrey, or as manipulative as Margaret. Gosh, in noble families trust was a luxury you could not afford with money. Lyuin 65 Share Posted February 8, 2014 He flushed red for a moment, his eyes captivated by her's. "Is it that obvious I am an amateur in the arts of dance?" He chuckled lightly taking in the dusk for a moment and gazing at the sky. "I'd be honoured to sing alongside you m'lady. Yet if the hour grows late or this deck has an unpleasant draft you should say, though I trust you shall." He smiles again.
Draeris 3124 Share Posted February 8, 2014 Ellessa became intrigued, someone who coörperated with her elegance, that was indeed special. As she smiled in shyness, she asked "The Rains of Castamere perhaps?". It was like she demanded it, as she began to mumble the first tones of the song. She continued the dance, on a more rapid tone. But she wanted to see sir Raelthon fail, to secure her supremacy in this dance of ice and fire. As she curled her finger she spinned around him, putting her elegant footwork to use. Sometimes she slowly lowered her finger over the center of his chest, the other times she just brushed his hair. Whatever she did, the dance never ended, it only became better. As the tones ended, she started to sing on a more soft but dramatic voice, expecting him to sing the rain of Castamere with her. She still couldn't understand how she knew that pathetic Lannister song out of her head. And who are you, the proud lord said, that I must bow so low? Only a cat of a different coat, that's all the truth I know. In a coat of gold or a coat of red, a lion still has claws, And mine are long and sharp, my lord, as long and sharp as yours. And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere, But now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear. Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall, and not a soul to hear. Splitchris 11 Share Posted February 8, 2014 Chad had dozed off on deck after the departure and Johnathan's announcement of plans, and made his way down the stairs to the lower areas of the ship as dusk approached. He stopped at the bottom as his ears picked up what seemed to be... music? Surely enough, twisting his head around he saw a woman and a man dancing along merrily as if this was some sort of royal ball. He raised his eyebrow at them questioningly, but nonetheless proceeded to find a box a dozen meters away from them where he sat down, unhooking his crossbow, starting his daily crossbow check, plucking at the string and testing the trigger, among other routine things, frowning as he tries to keep the music out, finding it rather annoying. Lyuin 65 Share Posted February 9, 2014 Hugh felt his footwork become increasingly worse during the dance as it sped up, as he sung he gathered his wits deciding to fin an escape from absolute embarassment. He caught her wrist aoftly as she drew a finger down his chest and froze, a smile appearing on his features. "Seems you just as elegant of a dancer as stars are in the night sky...Tis a beautiful eve is it not?"
Draeris 3124 Share Posted February 9, 2014 Ellessa chuckled, slowing down the pace of the dance as she replied "The night is as temporary as the stars, but the moment under the stars is what matters." She stopped for a moment, pushing him against the warm wooden wall of the ship's cabin, whispering "Why not make it a night we will never forget?". She smiled in a sassy manner. As the dusk became slowly night, it seemed like every minute went as slow as Hodor.
DigitalRescue 4 Share Posted February 9, 2014 Before the ship departed, Rickard had taken the supplies off of his horse and dumped them in a corner of the lower floor. He returned to his horse, whispered something in his ear and slapped it's rump, it immediately galloping down the crowded docks. He knew the horse would make it, but he hoped more than anything the letter would reach it's destination without falling into the wrong hands. Lord Dondarrion had to know where he was, and what he was doing. He also had a letter for Gendry - at his limited time with the Brotherhood, the two had become close, nay, almost inseparable. Gendry was like the brother he never had for Rickard, and even Thoros said that they were more alike than different. Hells, they could pass as brothers if they wanted to, they both looked like eachother! After changing into some more sea-worthy clothes (a baggy black collared shirt, unbuttoned midway down his chest, a belt and grey trousers) and tying some of his hair into a plat near his face, he listened to Jonathan's plans. He didn't say a word whilst he was talking, and took some rum from his pouch and sat on the bow, dangling his feet over the edge. He watched and listened the woman and man dance, before joining in with the singing of 'The Rains of Castamere'. He dominated the two people's voices despite his age, a loud deep bellow. Once he'd finished, he took a swig from the bottle and started to sing 'The Bear and the Maiden Fair'. He tapped his feet and clapped his hands for the rhythm, then called out to the bard to play. "Bard! You know this tune! Play us the song, I'll sing!" With that he carried on with the song, hair flying across his face due to the wind. A bear there was, a bear, a bear! All black and brown and covered in hair!Three boys, a goat, and a dancing bear! They danced and spun, right to the fair! Oh, sweet she was, and pure, and fair! The maid with honey up in her hair!He smelled her on the summer air!The maid with honey up in her hair! From there, to here. From here! To there! All black and brown and covered in hair!He smelled that girl on the summer air!The bear! The bear! The maiden fair! Oh, I'm a maid, and I'm pure and fair!I'll never dance with a hairy bear!I called a knight, but you're a bear! All black and brown and covered in hair! He lifted her high in the air!He sniffed and roared and he smelled her there! She kicked and wailed, the maid so fair! When he licked the honey from her hair! From there to here. From here! To there! All black and brown and covered with hair!He smelled that girl on the summer air!The bear! The bear! The maiden fair! And the bear, the bear! The maiden fair! And the bear, the bear! She sighed and she squealed and she kicked the air! Then she sang: My bear! My bear so fair! And off they went into the summer air!The bear, the bear,And the maiden fair! From there to here. From here! To there! All black and brown and covered in hair!He smelled that girl on the summer air!The bear! The bear! The maiden fair! And the bear, the bear! The maiden fair! And the bear, the bear! The maiden fair! And the bear, the bear!
seannie 7443 Share Posted February 9, 2014 Victor yawns loudly scratching the scruff of his beard and peeks curiously at people near him, taking a mental note of their activities, and seeing no problems arise as the ship launches away from the dock. Right before heading bellow deck he notices odd movement to his right side, he sees the Captain walking about in a strange manner with a scoff and dismissing his thoughts by thinking the Captain is probably already drunk on Arbor Wine or Dornish Wine, he heads down bellow deck and finds a suitable sleeping location, there he unbuckles his longsword and wraps his arms around it and goes to fall asleep, almost instantly despite the ruckus above deck. Kim 1328 Share Posted February 9, 2014 Mattias started awake, attempting to sit up only for their head to strike painfully against the crate lid. After Mattias uttered a loud curse, they quickly bit their tongue. In silence, Mattias' hands came up to clutch their head as the aching throb slowly subsided. It was stuffy inside the darkness of the crate and with room allowing only minimal movement, the idea of getting out was getting more appealing as the seconds ticked by. Mattias continued to try and count, figure out what time it was. But after Mattias had dozed off it was hard for them to figure out what time it actually was. Mattias outstretched their arms in the dark until their fingertips hit the lid of the crate only a split second later. At first Mattias pushed lightly, expecting the lid to lift easily and quietly. Instead it didn't budge. When they tried applying a harder pressure, the lid seemed to budge, but past a certain point of lifting it wouldn't move anymore. Images of the crew finding a dead body inside of a crate flashed into Mattias mind, and a cold sweat broke out over Mattias' skin. Through clenched teeth and heavy breathing, Mattias began to bang and kick on the lid of the crate, their hoarse voice from hours of silence cracking as they attempted to scream for help. seannie 7443 Share Posted February 9, 2014 Victor grumbles as he is awaken by some sort of hoarse screaming in the room he was sleeping in. Victor then realizes he might be in a serious situation and hastily slides out of his blade from his scabbard and holds it in front of him, looking about in the dark room and staying quiet. Victor then frowns, looking over at what seems to be the source of the hoarse screaming, then his eyes widen thinking that barrels might be screaming but then frowns and shakes his head walking over to the barrels knowing someone is inside. He then kicks the barrel over with his foot, cracking it open and looks down at Mattias and with a scorn he says, "Who are you? Man who hides in barrel?" Easing his sword down he waits for a reply from the man.
Kim 1328 Share Posted February 9, 2014 Mattias looks up from where they laid on the wooden floor of the compartment, hand shakily coming up to brush the hair out of their eyes as the sword lowered. Swallowing a few times to clear their dry throat, Mattias muttered a "Sorry..." before leaning back to look for their satchel. After a second Mattias got up with the satchel clutched to their chest. "I'm no one... At least... Uh..." Not expecting to have run in with anyone so soon, Mattias stuttered to find an answer that would get this man to leave them alone. The missing eye and sword looming threateningly close didn't help calm Mattias' nerves, and they wrung their hands nervously while shrugging meekly. seannie 7443 Share Posted February 9, 2014 Victor cringes at the weak posture of the man and sheaths his blade into his scabbard seeing Mattias as no threat to him. Wringing his neck a bit, Victor says after a crack "What would a smuggled man do on this ship if the Captain found out about this?" He scoffs after-ward and says "Begone, I have no use for a meek man-child, I will forget about your existence smuggler that is if you no longer annoy me." With a huge yawn he turns his back on Mattias and tosses his sword by his bed as he sits down, eyeing Mattias until he does a move still calm as ever. Kim 1328 Share Posted February 9, 2014 "Yes! Thank you!" Mattias exclaimed, eyes flying wildly from the man's face to the door, and back to the man's face. After scrambling to get up, Mattias walked to the door of the compartment. Their hand lifted to rest on the door handle, but they paused, looking over their shoulder. "But uh... If I go out the Captain would find me." Mattias spoke with a grimace, realizing after the words left their mouth that Victor probably wouldn't care. Knitting their brows, Mattias turned down to look at the handle with their shoulders slumped, pulling the door open slowly.
