Edward nods and amends the document with the listed charges, but then notes to his Grand-Uncle,"Your charges that are relevant to secular offenses have been added, but the King demanded that the clergy not participate as justices, as this is a secular matter. The crown wouldn't intervene in the courts of the Church, just as the Church wouldn't intervene in the courts of the Crown. All the same, because I wished you all here, I have called you witness to testify to the fairness of the trial as emissaries of the Creator in this world. If the clergy wishes to hold a separate ecclesiastical trial on the offenses of Huron against the Faith, that is well within their jurisdiction. "

John's face twists in anger for a moment as it clams down, "Bah you do not fool me with this falsey and sweet talk, I have more knowledge of the law and history than any lording that sits here, and I already spoke to the King about it." he hits his staff once more on the ground "You wont like what I'll have to say." he grumbles a bet before his eyes meet's Edward's in a quick exchange. He moves to where the Clergy is suppose to be seated seeing a couple of people that are not meant to be there his laymen move them away before the Archbishop takes a seat with a sinister intent on his mind. He grumbles to himself as he is being surrounded by his entourage of clerics and scribes as he hits one with his staff for writing something.

*He murmurs to Lydolf then turns back to watching the trial*

"I don't think Huron himself is guilty, it was just his family name that was..."

Hurons wrists are binded, his head looking to the floor. He takes a seat, waiting for the judgment to begin.

He would stand

"I would like to say, that I am not responsible  for kidnapping of any sort. I did not kidnap Ostromir. My family must of done that in the past, when I wasn't present.

My family pasts for the last few decades weren't so great, I understand Gideon and Pius did not do such a good job with the House. I am not responsible for any of that, as I was not present.

Aye, I have helped a rebellion and it was truly a mistake. The Tarus's what ye' are looking for. I came back after a long adventure, they were the first to run into me. They have convinced me to join their cause, as I was not aware on what was goin' on at that time. I am truly sorry for what I have done, and I hope I will be forgiven.

Whatever my family has done in the past, I am truly sorry. That is why I am here today, I'd like to cleanse the family name, step up to what Gideon, Pius and myself has done."

He would take a seat, hoping for the best.

Silus leans forward, maintaining his neutral expression, noting onto the statement of Huron:

"You are aware, that as a person who intends to engage itself in the arts of politics, who intends to join a side, should probably inform themselves beforehand on how the whole situation is as a total before flocking to the banner of someone with unfortunately empty promises?"
