As many of you may or may not know, Telanir has resigned from his position as a Global Moderator, and as head of the Technical Team.

 

Now I must first off say congratulations to his work. While I did not like all the plugins, I have to commend the work he did on them.

 

Now then, to the matter at hand!

 

I have to say you are the single most useful Technical Team member, Coder, or plugin maker LotC has ever had. Unlike Vaq, who stole plugins and colored them different, or said they were his own, or even copied them, you made your own plugins, that didn't bring the lag and server stress his plugins brought. All of his talk of how "Oh, it's bukkit" was frankly false. I used the same Bukkit version, with unstolen versions of his plugins and ran a server fine, at home, on my own IP.

 

Second, you were a great person, and I hate to see you go. I do hope that you stay semi-active on Skype, as you are a pretty funny guy and good with advice!

 

Thirdly, you are just a true blessing on LotC. Kinda like that Batman line where you're what we need but not deserve. Remember it? You're the Batman Java Wizard of LotC.

 

Lastly, I give a goodbye. Just in five minutes I've heard how upset people are to see your departure, and your name will honestly be one spoke of through the time of this server until it finally comes to a close.

Aw thank you so much Italian, I'm very happy that I have been able to make an impact here.

 

I did promise, that what time I do have left I would dedicate to helping out whichever way I can, even as I don't have enough time to lead the team. So I hope that I can still continue to make a difference, even if a minimal contribution each day. Thank you. :)

Let's be real here, the main reason he wasn't a GM was because he was more important to the server than any GM was and he knew it. He had access to more than the GM's did, and did more for the server than pretty much any other GM did. He was about as much "not a GM" as Aislin (second go around) or I was, in name alone.

 

Anyways, he was cool.
