Zezimus 1523 Share Posted March 31, 2014 Setting aside any other issues there might have been with Knox, I don't believe that anyone should have been banned over this war. The raids and skirmishes so far have gotten quite out of hard, partly due to the fault of us nation leaders who've been taking too long to decide and introduce a full set of war rules. FYI I am not spewing hate, I feel like I am spewing reason if anything. I will attempt to make any communication with you on this matter purely factual, I have nothing against you and actually I don't even know you or Knox all that well. If you have a hugely disliked nation you can probably come up with more than five people with bad things to say, that is why we base ban reports off of hard evidence, of which you have provided none, just reports of rule breaking which has never been sufficient on this server. I understand the need to be stricter and stop the nonsense. I encourage it! But in that same hand it is a delicate game because you also have to be harder on yourself. You cannot be biased and you cannot simply handle matters that you are involved with ICly no matter how many GMs pat you on the back for it. You believe your OP gives sufficient information as to why the ban was neccessary. It gives no useful information whatsoever I am sorry to say. And you going to bed when everyone else is still here wanting answers displays to me something of apathy for those who disagree with you. I never thought I'd agree with you on anything. KoTo 610 Share Posted March 31, 2014 Honestly, this could have all been handled much better if you had just warned Knox and made a public announcement clarifying the rules instead of jumping the gun and banning Knox on the spot. I honestly don't see why you handled this report in the first place since you have shown your dislike for Oren on numerous occasions including a few times in the GM chat.Also,that Skype shot really doesn't help your case. But on the other hand,I've found that some of these insults at Chikea to be hardly justified. She might have made a mistake,as we all have,but we still have to at least try and be respectful. Even if you don’t technically break any listed rules, either from walking the fine line between breaking the rules and not or from consistently jumping through loopholes, it is a moderator’s right to warn or ban you if they deem it necessary. This will only occur in extreme scenarios, and moderator’s abusing this right will be dealt with accordingly. this amazing, gorgous sexy rule right here. Not just one or two GMs. That, and there is a claim that there is a large hoard of evidence that was the justification for this. So where is it?
