HappyShackles 886 Share Posted April 2, 2014 Lorethos holds Grand King Wulfgar's battleaxe in his lap, turning it over in his hand and wondering if he should have it melted down into a phallic shape and sent it back to him. He decides against it. Suddenly, he hears a knock at the door. "Come in," He calls, his serving maiden Maren entering and offering him a letter. He takes it, dismissing her, and reads a copy of the Grand King's propaganda. "What an absolute idiot. The Scourge is an enemy to all of us. I once thought that perhaps the Grand King was deserving to keep his throne after he surrendered, but he is convincing me otherwise."
Zezimus 1523 Author Share Posted April 2, 2014 A response is returned. "Do you truly fail to see sense? I fought alongside the forces of Alras and Urguan, as I have many, many times before, and was routed back beyond the walls along with all of the rest. Never before in my conflicts with Oren have I encountered any semblance of the Scourge amongst either force, until now. It was not Orenian forces that they fought alongside. As we were routed we retreated beyond the walls, still did the dread magic of the forces of Setherien pound down among Orenian loyalist forces from the archway above. I rose to the archway and set off in search for the Scourgemen for, while they spread havoc amongst the force we were fighting, the Scourge is the enemy of every race and must be struck down regardless of circumstance. The spells were traced to the rooftops of the market district upon the archway, and I and one other climbed to meet them. The sight we were met with was that of two Harbingers, but they were not alone. No less than six soldiers of the Zion sprinted back and forth near the Scourge, evidently aware of their presence but unwilling to take any action. I disregarded this and charged, striking down both Scourgemen as those I counted as comrades stood there and watched idly. I was distraught, my foundations shaken and my iron will and trust in the rationale of the forces of Zion swiftly disintegrated as I found them fighting alongside the enemies of every man, woman and child of every race. One might swiftly drop this folly of word but instead, after being caught in a lie, you deflect it and instead accuse me of turning a blind eye. No doubt you will disregard what I say with honeyed words to save face and attempt to re-validate your fallacious propaganda, but I name you Wulfgar. I name you as a liar and a snake, a wolf in sheep's clothing who accuses others of turning a blind eye to the true issue while he himself remains ignorant, or perhaps not, of the Black Scourge residing in the very heart of his lands. I pray to the highest deity that you see the folly of your ways, or all is lost." Another note is returned aside the last. "Fortunately, pitiful insults will not hide the truth of the matter. I suspect that you, whoever you are, are indeed affiliated with the Orenians or even the Scourge itself. Else you would have seen what stood before your eyes as my kin were barraged by magic of the black scourge. Not just in this encounter but in many prior, while the Orenians either watched or ignored what was before them. No, for I believe it is you who is the liar here. I request that in any future skirmishes, a force of either the Golden Lance or Scions of the Third Era are to stand over and assess the battlefield for any sign of scourge influence and to actively engage in combat with those who are seen to align themselves with Setherein's servants." Demotheus 651 Share Posted April 2, 2014 Several notes are plastered around the other several notes. "Ladies, put your toys away. Maybe you're both right, who knows. The scourge are a bunch of ass hats anyway, but they aren't stupid. They want to pit you against each other by any means necessary. Dumbasses. With love, The Queen of Thighs~":

mmat 7460 Share Posted April 2, 2014 "Mighty creator Godanistan justly provides his many sons of Oren with the means to conquer its nefarious enemies, not any black scourge sorcery." Drake says with vigor, prior to scraping the brains of 1,000 Dwarves and Orcs from his blade in the centre of Vekaro.
Avacyn 1712 Share Posted April 2, 2014 Baron Harrison Briarwood crosses one leg over the other, sitting fairly comfortable in his elaborate seat up in the highest reaches of Vekaro's castles. Surrounding his chair are a pile of skulls, spilling out onto the ground before him. In his hand, he holds a fairly polished and cleaned cranium, topped with an ornate crown. He laughs cruelly, unhinging the jaw, putting on a rather mocking and stereotypical dwarvish accent, and pretending to have it speak along to Wulfgar's mind-numbing words. Cjmate 1270 Share Posted April 2, 2014 Brother Sergus frowns at what he believes to be misinformation, not lies. He addresses the immediate concern with the peasants to assure them against the blasphemous accusations. "Papa Siegmund made rid of Empire because was too close to godliness! Kingy Heinrik will not be making slander on actions by subjugating dagger-ears. Real concern of Conclavia is Teuton who makes home in Conclave; who turn Elfies into puppet nation for human faction! No one makes wishing to be fighting Elfies. Only want the witch-king Mirtok, may his mother force soap in mouth for actions towards peace." He makes out to leave, then turns back to face the crowd. "Kingy Dwarf-man is confused and misinformed. Must have made too much drinking of the spirits."
Josh3738 3137 Share Posted April 2, 2014 Zahrer draws some pretty damn good pictures and uses the dwarven printing press to make thousands, sending them everywhere. A quote from the Orenian General, Lorethos Basileus, adorns the bottom of each picture.

VIROS 2915 Share Posted April 2, 2014 Lisbeth El'Nohaerious spots a poster while walking down an alleyway in Abresi. He grips his katana, smirking, his red eyes scanning the parchment. "Hmph. Heinrik-san is Crow-Filth. The Order of the Black Owl will surely take care of him..." He dashes off into the night, followed by a trail of purple fire.
