The Summoning for a Duma

Atop Mount Augustus, the aged Patriarch of House Ruthern and a youth bearing similar resemblance clamber to reach its elevated peak. With a ragged sigh, and a solemn expression on his features, the weathered Ruthern offers the ceremonial horn of bone to his son. Isidor grasps it, nodding and putting it up to his lips. Drawing a rigorous breath, he blows into it and a thundering blare echoes throughout the lands encompassing the towering summit. Soon after, an aberrant amount of fetid-smelling peasants huddle together to converse in half-baked Raevir dialect. According to their folklore, the blowing of the horn was of ample significance for it meant that the Duma would convene promptly. As customary, all those with Raevir heritage or connection were invited to attend the decisive conference.

After the announcement spreads, it is affirmed that the upper-class of the Raevir society would partake in an exclusive feast in a few month’s time(Tuesday, 7 P.M. EST.) and that the Great-Duma would be held subsequently(Friday, 7 P.M. EST. ) for all Raevirs to engage in, regardless of standing. The assembly would confer within the Strannik stronghold currently held by the Rutherns and proceedings would be led by Ostromir Sarkozic of House Carrion.

Vassily is pleased the term "Duma" was used correctly. He will attend both, being Lord High Strelt of Crowsfield.

((++1 10/10, fine folklore here. Happy to see people actually looking up things on Raevirs and then using them in a proactive manner. This has the Raevir folkmaster seal of approval. Good job.))

Bajko sets himself down into the Keep with several building tools

and his workbench, he sets them aside and starts to decorate the keep"

"tis 'etter look gud f'er teh Duma"

He starts carpeting the Ruthern coloured carpets and hanging portraits of famous Reavir's. As you walk past the Keep you would see Bajko setting portraits up of St Hunwald, St. Siegmund, St. Bogdan, and the previous Lord of the Keep and Velky-Stran of the Stranniks, the martyr Fredek Royce.

"Ahh, tis is t'eh life, bein' layed 'ack with no violence on ya handz,

which tis was like dis all teh time" he says, decorating the keep out to in.

(( Although I won't be going, I wish that there is to be no violence, meaning that the luciens don't turn up to kill us. The Duma is a peaceful event, I hope you understand this ))
