The Antagonistmap...

... is absolutely amazing!

Not to lay it on too thick, but the immersion of the world is flawless. The endless hellstone, the perpetual darkness and the continuous barrage of thunderstrikes and other ominous noises. The sense of urgency and excitement that seeps into my RP because of it is effortlessly scintillating, and is making me remember what it's like to be a player on LotC.

And I understand how some may retain that the Harbingers are too OP or 'trigger-happy', coming in guns blazing with a shoot-first-questions-later kind of mindset. But by golly, it's exactly what they should be doing. This is a land that offers no respite, where you better think long and hard before you venture out, look both ways before you cross the street, because pretty much everything is out to kill you.

Fair, it places the burden of instigating the RP on the players, which some of them may experience as a burden they are no longer quite used to. But so far I'm not wanting for possible RP paths to embark on. It's not a PvE fest if you don't want it to be. I hope they will keep it up and the playerbase will get used to it, because I am enjoying the thrill of it all.

All my love to the builders and actors and writers that made this happen.

Being OP and trigger happy makes me happy.

That's the sentence you latched on to?

Do you like how I added 3 dots in the title to make people think 'oh another antag bashing thread' and then it's actually positive?

Mmm, I remember the map before it was released when the ET build team were working on it. I was on it again a few months later to RP with the first Glurtzfolok to be converted - incredibly immersive.

Hats off to all the builders involved, you out did yourselves ^.^

The battle this morning was so fun. And the feel of sieging hell is so cool.

*thanks all the people that built the map a year ago and now its finally being used*

You know whats funny they wanted to delete the map cause no one knew how to use it.

*waves ET flags.

EDIT: We are the people who salvage broken scraps and make cool stuff outta it.

As one of the many members of the ET and GM team that essentially sacrificed their entire Friday to make sure the launch went smoothly, thank you so much for the kind words. It means a lot. ^_^

I wish all warzones slowly began to look like that on lotc. Most of the times, siege equipment is used, but there's never any real damage. If a city gets besieged, I don't only want walls to get damaged. I want boulders smashing into homes and market districts, causing havoc among the populous.
