It will most likely be legalized in every state within the next 10 years. The government wants people lazy, fat, dependent on government assistance and high all the time. It allows them to separate the lower and upper class more easily and further destroy what we once knew as the middle class.

The misinformation in this thread is funny.

No one in their right mind injects it.

It treats autism, seizures, and a HUGE HOST of other mental and physical problems.

It slows or stops the growth of some cancers.

Research if illegal, because you know, HURR WEED IS BAD CAUSE DARE TOLD ME SO.

Prohibition of marijuana is stupid and unjustified.

Mental problems are all fake. Physiatric used to say that being gay is a mental illness and now they say there is something called autism and split personality and things like that I do not believe in any of it. Do I care if someone smokes pot or not or give a darn if its legal or not I do not.

Because I know I am not taking no POT same reason I do not drink tap water, Governments wish to control the population by making them sedated and relaxed. Look up whats being pumped in your water.

Right, so those suffering from autism are faking it?

Here are the symptoms of autism. As you can see they are very broad and anyone can dispel all of them.

A need for sameness and routines. For example, a child with autism may always need to eat bread before salad and insist on driving the same route every day to school.

There is nothing wrong with doing the same routine. In fact, most people I know LIKE doing the same routine, as the brain learns repetitive tasks and stores them into memory. A change in routine can irritate some people.

An unusual focus on pieces. Younger children with autism often focus on parts of toys, such as the wheels on a car, rather than playing with the entire toy.

That's called attention to detail, that's actually a good personality trait.

Preoccupation with certain topics. For example, older children and adults may be fascinated by video games, trading cards, or license plates.

DUH! How many people love video games? When I was a kid, trading cards were all the rage.

Failure to establish friendships with children the same age.

There can be a lot of causes of this. For example, what if have interests that differ from other people? Maybe you like older music, maybe the people in your school like newer music. Also, you may be shy, and not a "people person". Again, these are personality traits, this does not suggest you have a mental disorder.

Lack of empathy. People with autism may have difficulty understanding another person's feelings, such as pain or sorrow.

For males, showing emotion is generally considered being a "wimp". Modern society teaches males to be tough, and to never cry. Also, some people are not as emotional as others. Again, these are personality traits.

Stereotyped and repetitive use of language. People with autism often repeat over and over a phrase they have heard previously (echolalia).

How many teenagers do I hear repeating the phrase "Yolo", "cool story bro", and the like? Or maybe if you lived during the 60s..."party on man" or "peace", was a common phrase. There is nothing wrong with repeating phrases.

Difficulty understanding their listener's perspective. For example, a person with autism may not understand that someone is using humor. They may interpret the communication word for word and fail to catch the implied meaning.

Not everyone has the same sense of humour. Watch comedians, they may tell a joke, that only a few people get. Also, everyone has a problem sometimes telling if someone is being sarcastic or not, it all has to do with how they use their voice.

Delay in, or lack of, learning to talk. As many as 40% of people with autism never speak.

Not everyone learns to talk early. Maybe the child was not taught how to speak at a younger age. Also, certain traumatic events can cause people to not speak.

Significant problems developing nonverbal communication skills, such as eye-to-eye gazing, facial expressions, and body posture.

Some people don't talk with their hands, some people don't like to make eye contact, does not mean they have this fake mental disorder.

Also

Asperger's.

Children with Asperger's syndrome generally have difficulty interacting with others and often are awkward in social situations. They generally do not make friends easily. They have difficulty initiating and maintaining conversation.

Gee, sounds just like one of the symptoms of autism. All of this has to do with environmental factors and personality traits.

Children with this condition may develop odd, repetitive movements, such as hand wringing or finger twisting.

OMG!, yet another symptom copied from the list for autism.

A child with Asperger's syndrome may develop rituals that he or she refuses to alter, such as getting dressed in a specific order.

Surprise surprise! Yet again, another copied symptom. Yet again, people don't like change in their routines.

People with Asperger's syndrome may not make eye contact when speaking with someone. They may have trouble using facial expressions and gestures, and understanding body language. They also tend to have problems understanding language in context.

WHOA! Yet again, another copy!

Limited range of interests: A child with Asperger's syndrome may develop an intense, almost obsessive, interest in a few areas, such as sports schedules, weather, or maps.

Nothing wrong with that. The kid who becomes obsessed with weather may become a meteorologist, the kid obsessed with sports schedules may get a job at ESPN.

Coordination problems: The movements of children with Asperger's syndrome may seem clumsy or awkward.

That's poor motor skills, NOT a mental disorder!

Skilled or talented: Many children with Asperger's syndrome are exceptionally talented or skilled in a particular area, such as music or math.

That's an issue? So Eisenstein and Beethoven had aspergers? Get real.

The sooner people wake up, and realize the two "mental disorders" are nothing more than made up BS to make doctors/big pharma money, the better!

To answer your question, there is nothing wrong with them they are normal people they are not faking anything but they are told they have it.

Everything in moderation friends.

If this was last week, I would have certainly said "Legalize it without a doubt" however yesterday I had probably one of the worst experiences of my life on weed. (I've smoked well over 50 times before this experience as well)

I had a panic attack because I was mad rage faced and smoked a **** ton of ash, causing me to hallucinate and all kinds of crazy ****. I fought two of my closest friends that were trying to restrain me, I snapped my glasses frame in half, and probably more **** I don't remember.

Imagine your brain registering things as happening, but not really happening in reality. Pretty much an out of body experience where you feel every muscle move and every sense is insanely heightened.

I would write the full blown story but honestly telling it gets me really shaken, considering if my friends weren't there to stop me from the **** I was doing I probably would have died.

(Btw I thought I was dead and stuck in limbo because minutes felt like ******* hours)

Before you say "It was laced" I can guarantee it wasn't, this is just what happens from over consumption and **** can either go REALLY GOOD with mind altering drugs, or REALLY BAD. It can **** with everyone differently, and mind you this was suppose to just be a regular blaze sesh like any other.

Lesson learned, don't hit from a bowl. Joints are where it's at.

Prohibition of marijuana is stupid and unjustified.

We're not talking about medicinal marijuana I believe here, so this all pretty much irrelevant as the medical marijuana is legal in most states already. But I will criticize some of your points even so, Marijuana does not treat autism ( yes seizures) or HUGE HOST of mental and physical problems. Marijuana is a pain reliever and actually doesn't do much productive for the mind, it allievates physical stress and pain. Marijuana slows down the growth of cells yes for some cancers, but this is only if it isn't smoked (i.e taken with a doctors approval, which is already legal most places). Recreational use of the drug carries almost none of these benefits, ( As most people smoke it, I'm going to go of that.) It doubles your chances of lung cancer, compared to tobacco. And while it may slow down cell growth of some cancers, you're taking huge risks with another cancer. I'll also go at it from another side, have you seen China's air in downtown before? Even though it may not be as big as a factor, legalizing recreational use of marijuana would pollute the air we breathe even more than it already is. While you may think it's no big deal if you and your buddies smoke some reefer, your actually contributing to a much larger problem at hand. Though if you were talking about medicinal marijuana (which I don't think is the case) don't mind my comments as I'm all for medical marijuana. But if you meant recreation uses of marijuana, then I suggest you lay off the WebMD for a bit.

I think you should be able to do what you want when you want to. Surprisingly, a lot of people in my small Canadian suburb town smoke pot and I know a few. It's like half and half if it did bad **** to them or it did nothing. I know one guy for like 4 months ago was really popular, fit, came to school regularily (mostly), started to do pot and other **** and now he's fat, barely see him at school, and is impossible to talk to.

But I also know people who smoke it occasionally and are fine.

I think that it is generally bullshit when people say it's a 'gateway drug,' but I have seen some people that started on that and now do molly and other harder drugs.

But yeah, do what you want.

@Sultan

Yet this is why science can brains of someone with and without autism and see noticeable difference.
