The Dwarven walls constructed by Urguan near Vekaro are above-ground structures yes? Why not fight for control of exclusively that territory so that some progress (albeit small) may be achieved? 

Regarding the underground bunkers--could the entrances not simply be caved in? Flood it? I recall one assault on an underground base in anthos wherein the assaulters simply rerouted a nearby river into the cavern. If the dwarves desire an rp solution to an rp fort, there are numerous methods of smoking out underground fort dwellers.

Snelves/sariants/Dwarves/Orcs Vs Oren/various elves. Reason being Oren got mad at the dwarves for a single dwarf non affiliated to Urguan raided Oren. We tried for peace but Oren denied it, war happened. Now Oren sues for peace and acts as the moral superior, choosing to ignore the fact we offered to have the war stop before its start.

Then why do you refuse peace? Pride is keeping this war going, neither side wants to be the bigger man (for the record, the human's the bigger man, because, well... dwarves :P) and start peace talks without sticking a load of "btw we win give us things" terms on it.

Indagolaf. The Murderbunker to end all Murderbunkers. The flooding strategy failed. Dwarves dig deep. All that happened was a lot of dead fish.

 

 

Either way, the dwarves'll have a new Grandking soon. Hopefully that'll lead the way to either calling off this war or giving it some structure.

I'm not so sure. At this point, I see it as a matter of white peace or nothing. Why would the dwarves accept terms against them in a war they didn’t start? Attempts at peace so far from both sides have been rather petty. I'd suggest trying to offer a treaty over the forum, as it's in the public eye and so puts those in charge under more scrutiny to work with it.

 

Also, as Dizzy has said, Oren is being equally as obstructive in creating a warclaim as the dwarves, simply because both sides have reached a deadlock on its terms. There's been so many of these posts made where Oren players have just berated the dwarves and twisted information to their own gain. Just stop, it's not making the OOC atmosphere of this war any better in the slightest. 

 

To get facts straight, the dwarves did not want this war at all. They have enough of their own problems to deal with right now and Oren's aggression against them really took most dwarves by surprise. The dwarves are fighting now because they don't believe they have a choice. Of course they'll accept warclaims and deal with raids but they're not just going to sit there and do nothing. They're fighting for the survival of their RP and their nation's community during a time they had been trying to improve their own internal state. Why are they under any less right to have input in the terms of their warclaims than say the Carrions were when they were on the verge of being conquered? The human playerbase naturally outnumbers the dwarves, in part due to server applicants, yet the dwarves make up for that in their defenses. It's an RP matter that should be dealt with in RP.

Every nation has the same guys who troll and don't take the server very seriously. However, it comes down to nation leaders to realise this and not use it as an excuse for war. The dwarves have been guilty of this during spuller's reign as I feel Oren is guilty of it now. One of the greatest causes of war in LotC is nation leaders failing to take the correct diplomatic routes and jumping to conclusions.

Mama always told me to separate OOC from IC. The Lefty incident wasnt the only one, you have RekonSoldier96 to thank for playing dwarf assassin, Kowaman for trying to burrow into the palace, and a bunch of Dwarves who practically stormed our palace. I do apologize Zezimus, but you don't know half the story as you were away with exams which I do respect but I'd think we both could figure you know you can't just rebuke this entire roleplay.
