this has been around for a looong time. There are certain words that are part of the actual orcish language, such as Lat, Ug, Agh, Ash, Dub, Gruk, bub'hosh, etc. etc.

Please kindly stop being rude and inflammatory, it doesn't make any argument you make look more impressive.

Just let them talk however they want to, it's not a big deal. You have no right to lessen their fun just because they don't live up to your standards of language. In the real world, some people say "you all", some say "y'all"; some say "what's up?", some say "'sup?". I could go on and on. So just let them do what they've been doing for years without trying to change things for no reason.

Anyhoo, keep blah the way it is. I can't understand it for **** but that's what makes it fun.

and you're going to tell me you follow all these words in the english language that have been around for a 'looong time'? i really doubt that for some odd reason. just let people say things how they want to say things, as a lot of orcs are different from one another, don't force them to say any one word for every situation. there can be variation. without varitation and uniqueness, there cannot be evolution.

Not easy to understand but I like it that way.

If it's the reason that there are fewer orc players though, then I'd simplify it.

The Blah is easy to understand. Some words still catch me out but it's mostly just phonetic English with a few extra words.

The problem with that is that it wouldn't make any sense in rp. It's been long-established as a fact in the lore that orcish jaw structure and tusks make it difficult or even impossible for orcs to speak common. What kind of lore could reasonably explain why having big tusks sticking out of your mouth and a massive under-bite suddenly doesn't impair speech anymore?

The original blah lore.

When the Blah was originally made, it was just a second language that Orcs could speak. They could still speak common and Orcs that lived outside Krugmar usually did. It was only later on that people changed it to being required and being caused by the tusks.

Mi nub tink da blah zhould be basiked just zo pinkes kan gruk id. Ib new playur is ork den udder orks will teech 'im fru arpee and bracketblah. Ib new playur is nub orc, den dem nub grukkin' be part ob da ruleplay.

Whut annoy mi much morr is when pinkie speek perfekt blah. Gruk it, yub, but seein' twiggie blah perfekt blah just make mi want to klomp im flat.

Dis nub mayke sense? Gruk meen "understand." Tukk zeconds to reed dat, now lat know and it mayke sense! Blah look hard at firzt, but it take minutes tu pick up if lat reed orcish dictionary.

I'm aware of that. My point was that since then it's been established that tusks impede orcish speech. It's been this way for a long time. It'd be silly to switch back now.
