"Lin'ame invites all the Mali of Tahn'siol to the Silver Leaf Masquerade Ball, to be held within the Canopy Ballroom. We invite mali'ame, ker, and aheral alike to join us for an evening of dancing, music, intrigue, and romance. Refreshments will be provided. Be sure to wear a mask!

 

A new Ballroom has been created for the purposes of this event! To find your way there, enter the Lin'ame district, then proceed inside the mother tree, take a few steps down, then use the root travel.

Phaedrus looks over the notice in silence, squinting as he finishes reading. He scans it over once more, before releasing a slow sigh.

"Excuse me Elorna, WHEN EXACTLY did I agree to host a party in the hollow? Let alone high elves?" Asks Artimec with a withering glare, folding his arms in front of him.

Elorna frowns slightly at Artimec. "Where is your spirit of celebration?"

Elorna tilts her head. "Well, I suppose I should have spoken to you before. I apologize. However, I wouldn't expect you to take care of all of that during the Ball. You would be able to simply enjoy the evening, I'd make the arrangements. I can even provide food, should you wish."

Lyuin reads through the notice, a smile appearing on his features. "This may actually be rather interesting. However finding a mask that interests me may be a pressing matter. Oh my, I need to dust off my dancing."

Elorna tilts her head. "Well, I suppose I should have spoken to you before. I apologize. However, I wouldn't expect you to take care of all of that during the Ball. You would be able to simply enjoy the evening, I'd make the arrangements. I can even provide food, should you wish."

"If you're to host a party in my hollow then the Okarir'tir Ikur is not to be allowed entry. The Sohaer is also not allowed entry. If these terms are considered unreasonable or impossible then the party may be held somewhere else."

Art finishes his ultimatum with a grunt before pacing off into the hollow, cranking the gates shut to bar people entry and setting to tidy the place up for the next morning.

Kalenz scowls and states plainly "Should you attempt to deny the Okarir'tir and Sohaer of Haelun'or to a part of Haelun'or, it is you who shall be ejected entirely from Tahn'siol. Make your decisions wisely, elf. I hear the acid pits are in need of flesh in order to better balance their pH levels anyway".

Elorna watches the gates that she herself formed from roots with druidic abilities and purses her lips. "I'll ask you to reconsider," she calls out.

"There will be no party in the hollow. The gates of the hollow will be closed for the entire day and you may find another place to hold your festivities, Elorna. If you want me to allow those two in the hollow It'll need to be worth my time."
