Sky's 2K Milestone Thread!

For my 2,000 posts thread thing I have decided to add more than simply asking for you to ask me anything, so I have decided to give you information about what and who is ‘Sky’ as well as ending it with a generic, “Questions plox” you have all come to expect from milestone threads.

 

At roughly three at night, on the 14th of July 1994, I was born at the Tweed Heads District Hospital, Australia. My father, David Griffiths, and my mother, Katrina McFadzean, named me Lars. Though I am told different stories on why I was named such, my father’s love of Metallica lead me to the speculation of being named off of Lars Ulrich but that’s argued against.

 

My father was born in Birmingham, England and my mother was born in Mt Druitt, Australia. Having a healthy male, was apparently, their single happiest moment (or so I’ve been told). They took me home to a small apartment above a seafood shop in a small town named, Tugun. I lived with my parents there, for the first year of my life. My grandparents (on both sides) visited frequently, my fathers parents more so due to them living closer by. My father worked, and my mother was on a payment plan with the local government. My father constantly got fired for his drug abuse, but always tended to get work easily. My mother, while many would say my father influenced her, was also abusing drugs for what ever reason she had.

 

Due to my parent’s use of drugs (When I say drugs, it was either; pot, speed, heroin or cocaine. All changed depending on who I asked, and when I asked) my grandparents (Father’s side) started to come over more and more, at first at the request of my parents so they could get high but after a while, they started to be worried for me and their visits became more for my safety. Now I am not saying that my parents were cruel to me, it is further from the truth. My parents were caring, loving and gentle with me. Though had a tendency of leaving me with babysitters, and simply forgetting to pick me up. It got to a point where it was ridiculous, and so in May 1996, they decided to take me away from my parents and become my legal guardians.

 

On the first of August 1996, my mother passed away from an overdose. At this time my father was in jail for attempting to rob a chemist with a knife, and during this time it was said that my mother fell into a dark place, where I was no longer with her and my father wasn’t there with her, and she decided to do something to make her happier than she was. As I write this, I can only be saddened for my mother, not for Katrina. This may not make sense, but to me Katrina is someone I never knew but my mother (being Katrina) is something that hits me hard.

 

Now, there is little to really talk about for my childhood or even my teenage years. Only thing I could say is that during this transition through my life, I was quite an angry child. My father made attempts to get to know me, only ever lasting for one week and only happened once a year, so as a child I assumed that I was abandoned. At most times when I was a kid, while he was in jail, I had frequent phone calls from him, all the time being lied to (for my own protection) saying that he was in Sydney. By this time we were back in Tweed Heads.

 

When I turned fifteen, I started an apprenticeship to become a chef. I successfully finished this when I turned eighteen. Though to me it was simple, I almost failed it when I started a fight in the sports club that I was at doing my apprenticeship. The fight was with my father, when I was seventeen, he came into the club to talk to me. I broke down a little, seeing his face for the first time in about two years then. I almost through my knife at him, when he said that he wanted to get to know me and I promptly told him to look after himself and not to ever come to me, ever again. Though I went against my own advice when I turned eighteen.

 

Shortly after graduating school, I finished my apprenticeship and started applying for places to work. Through a hard year of being in and out of jobs, I was a bit down. I needed someone to talk to, though refused to talk to my friends who I assume was going through the same things and refused to talk to my grandparents who I assumed would know nothing of what I am going through. So, I made a facebook account and searched for my father, and got in contact with him. It’s funny how things work out. I have a mother, my grandmother. I have a father, my grandfather. I even have a new friend, David.

 

I am currently nineteen (twenty soon) and I am an unemployed college kid from Australia. Who loves playing video games. Who actually loves the Lord of the Craft community, and will do anything for its betterment. Lord of the Craft has been, without a doubt, the best community that I’ve joined and this place has given me so many new friends, and even found someone who I am currently dating.  I do my best in everything I do, and everything I do as a Global Moderator is to help the server. Admittedly I have my moments of stupidity, but I will do anything to improve myself and in turn, improve the server. Since improvement is what will assist in my aspiration to become an Admin.

 

I apologize if I have left something out, writing this out isn’t the easiest thing to do. Now, as I promised, this will end in a generic “Ask me anything” styled thread. Now please, Ask Me Anything, and when I say anything... I mean anything, I will answer all questions given but it will be seriously answered. I ask Forum Moderators and Global Moderators to not hide anything posted here.

Technically yes, that being that bisexual only have sexual tenancies towards those who are either male or female. Whilst pansexual also adds in the other genders that have popped up, like transsexual and those who do not believe themselves to be any gender. Though, either way the saying usually goes "Put your hands down their pants, and be happy with what ever you find."
