Soundtrack Needs You!

So, as some of you know, for the past while I have been working on writing songs to make a sort of mini soundtrack to LOTC for the benefit and joy of the players. Well, as an update, I have officially written all I can in regards to songs (and since, at the moment, my computer prevents me from being able to record anything, writing is really all I am currently capable of) so I need all of you guys to help me write more! 

 

Here is what I need:

 

I need people willing to take a bit of time out of their likely busy gaming schedule to describe to me something about the race they play/one of the races they play/the race they feel most connected to. This includes subraces, and if you are particularly connected to a certain subrace I would encourage you to post for them as well. Here's a little form to make life easier, though you don't have to follow it if you don't want to.

I could REALLY use the help of any male singers and I REALLY need help with translating. Especially Elvish.... I can figure out most of the sentences, but my words are often odd. It would be interesting to sing a Kha song in their language too, so if you could do that it would be awesome.

I can't wait to see what you come up with, please update me when you make progress! I was going to do this a while back but I was too inexperienced a composer. Now, a year later, I think I'm pretty average so if you need some critical opinions I can provide them. :)

Race/Subrace: High Elves

Have you played a character from this (sub)race?: Yes.

Describe how you imagine the music this (sub)race would listen to? If you can name a music genre or post an example link that would be even better: Classical music, most definitely. Ballroom, as well. 

What do you imagine this (sub)race's songs would be about?: If they had lyrics to them, they would most likely be in elven and about purity or knowledge.

What kinds of songs do you think would be most commonly found sung by this subrace? (i.e. war songs, lullabies, jigs, religious music, ballads...): Opera and ballroom pieces.

Kharajyr. Cheetrah/Tigrasi/Pantera

Yes.

Describe how you imagine the music this (sub)race would listen to? If you can name a music genre or post an example link that would be even better:

Kharajyr music would focus mainly on the beat. They generally play but aren't limited to percussion instruments. If you can imagine tribal music, Kharajyran music would be just that with a possibly a little flair due to their recent proximity towards other races and other cultures. 

What do you imagine this (sub)race's songs would be about?: 

Metztli, the Moon, Prides, Family, Togetherness, Remaining strong under hardship, Hunting, Nature(Jungle). The Kha are a prideful race so I imagine their songs would have a little self-praise in there too perhaps at the expense of belittling another race.

What kinds of songs do you think would be most commonly found sung by this subrace? (i.e. war songs, lullabies, jigs, religious music, ballads...):

War songs, Religious music. The Kha have get togethers like sacrifices, feasts and hunts often so it might be possible to just have songs made just for fun. Though they aren't notoriously the best singers around, there are quite a few kha that like singing. 

[This might not fit. But I figured if you suspend disbelief or at the very least take out the main voice. The humming and the beat could serve as a good example for a version of kharajyr music.]

Race/Subrace: High Elf, Dedicant, Adunian, Meadowbloom-Brae

Have you played a character from this (sub)race?: Yes, my main character.

Describe how you imagine the music this (sub)race would listen to. If you can name a music genre or post an example link that would be even better: I don't have an example link, but flute music would work the best. Violins, too, with high, soft and easy listening melodies. As the song progresses, I imagine more instruments being added underneath. Hearty, deep instrumental music by the end. 

What do you imagine this (sub)race's songs would be about?: The beauty of nature, love and life itself. 

What kinds of songs do you think would be most commonly found sung by this subrace? (i.e. war songs, lullabies, jigs, religious music, ballads...): Lullabies, ones so soft they could put a child to sleep.~

Describe how you imagine the music this (sub)race would listen to? If you can name a music genre or post an example link that would be even better: Celtic, somewhat 'wild' yet also civilized, with possibly a touch of delicacy? I know that ain't much to go on, but meh.

What do you imagine this (sub)race's songs would be about?: Nature, most often winter. Also, a few about war, I suppose.

What kinds of songs do you think would be most commonly found sung by this subrace? (i.e. war songs, lullabies, jigs, religious music, ballads...): Religious, I would suppose. A bit more... 'spiritual' and close to nature.

 

Maybe something similar to:

 

This kinda has a winter feel to it... Delicate and wild at parts. It lacks a Celtic feel but gives off a rather spiritual feel to it.

 

This one has a sorta tribal feel, closer to Celtic.

Life, Nature, old tales and poems, as well as mythology.

Lullabies, a few ballads here and there, but mostly instrumental music and sung poems. Perhaps a few jigs, too.

This, being a sub-culture of Adunia (unofficial), would listen to a more folk, Norse, pagan sort of music with Celtic roots. A genre would be Viking Folk, German Folk, Celtic Folk, and perhaps the acoustic derivations of several sub-genres of Folk Metal.
 

What do you imagine this (sub)race's songs would be about?:

Poems, songs about their ancestors or their past. Legends, tales and mythology would be all over the place.
 

What kinds of songs do you think would be most commonly found sung by this subrace? (i.e. war songs, lullabies, jigs, religious music, ballads...):

Have you played a character from this (sub)race?: No, but i was shocked that the scourge did not have a theme and that most mages using forbidden magic had no theme.

Describe how you imagine the music this (sub)race would listen to? If you can name a music genre or post an example link that would be even better: Something cold and sinister almost as though exploring a unkown and potentially sinister force, a mix of this warcraft classic:

What do you imagine this (sub)race's songs would be about?: Mystery,Immortality, Strife, The thirst for knowledge, and more.
